We've just arrived home, from our outstanding stay at Dafsrn Rhos Site!
We've been caravanning for 33years, we are in various clubs, and we must say how excellent this site is.
Lawns cut, toilet block immaculate, bins emptied, staff extremely helpful, the views are breathtaking, getting onto the beach, via the gate using a key fob is fantastic.
Owner pitches you, nothing is too much trouble! Safety/ security here is paramount! We will be back, whoever reads this will not be disappointed! Get booking, it's going to be a memorable holiday! Well done to the owners and staff! All your efforts, are paying off! Thank you for such a wonderful peaceful time, with wonderful weather too. Julia and Dave B

A fantastic relaxing and peaceful site, right on the beach. Beautiful views and a superb location. Staffed by helpful, friendly and knowledgeable wardens/owners. The whole site is kept spotlessly clean.
The pitches are large in keeping with the safety regulations.
If you're in a tent or have an awning take strong pegs bacause you're right on the seafront and that wind gets up.
The electricity hook ups are placed between two pitches and a water tap is available there too, so no long walks to fetch water.
Site security is spot on due to the key fob system which prevents people from entering the site from the beach, and the no driving after dusk rule I'm sure that people in tents appreciate.
We read some of the previous reviews which mentioned a long list of rules which were strictly enforced, what rubbish, there are rules but they are common sense to any respectful camper.
We chose this site because of the rules, I don't want the neighbours dog peeing up against my awning, or kids kicking a ball around next to me, that's bound to knock my drink over, that's my choice. If I wanted to be kept awake all night by drunken neighbours and loud music I'd still be going to festivals.
We enjoyed our stay at Dafarn Rhos campsite and will be returning.

This is a quiet site with no club or shop. It's in an idyllic location, literally two minutes walk to the fantastic beach at Lligwy. We found the staff friendly and helpful. The showers (free) were hot and the toilets and other facilities were spotless at all times. The pitches are roomy with fire breaks and most have electric hookups.
We had a lovely three night stay and would return without a second thought.

We chose this site for our first trip in the campervan and were not dissapointed in any way. Friendly helpful staff showed us to our pitch with a glorious view of the bay. Heated, clean showers and toilets (and a heated beach shower to wash off the sand, even a shower for dogs!)
Our pitch had electric and a water standpipe, recycling bins a short walk away, in fact everything we wanted was conveniently to hand.
Woke up to birdsong, admired the view of the bay over breakfast, then walked through a pedestrian gate, and the beach was a little over a hundred yards away, past a cafe serving breakfast rolls and coffee, which I walked off with a stroll along the coastal path. A huge sandy bay with rockpools to explore.
It is our rule not to go back to sites as there are always more places to explore, but I feel we shall be coming back here again and again.

We've stayed at this site several times and are never disappointed. The site is always well kept, the toilet facilities are well laid out and always clean and the owners are always friendly. It's a bit of a walk into town but with the coastal path next to the site with some stunning views the walk is always pleasurable. If you want a nice peaceful site to stay at then you won't go far wrong staying here.

Just returned from a great 10 day stay from our first trip to this campsite.
What a great place this is, location stunning, beach in walking distance huge and sandy and the added bonus is that you can take your dog on. The pitchs are huge and flat. All the pitches are round the edge so there is plenty of room for the kids to play in the middle.
We were in the Alps field which had portable showers which I used everyday, they were clean and warm and no push botton. There are toilets on this field also. If you don, t fancy these facilities you can use the main facilities but I found them fine and I am fussy regarding the standard of toilets and showers.
The site felt safe with the barried entrance and the key fob you need to get to the beach.
I have to mention the rules as so many other reviews have. I really can not see what all the fuss is about. I was aware of the rules before we booked and they are just common sense that most respectful campers adhere to. I did not notice the endless signs and I am glad that you can not drive on the site after dust, nothing worst that laid in bed in a tent with car head lights heading your way. It is obviously that the owners and all the staff take pride in the site and that's the reason why they set out the rules before you go, if you don, t like them don, t book. If you want peace and quiet, relaxation and respectful campers this is the site for you. All the staff were extremely pleased and helpful and were always asking if everything was ok and if they could do anything or you wanting any help.
This site is a credit to the owners and staff and we two adults, 2 kids and the dog can, t wait to go back.

This is a fantastic site.
We were welcomed by friendly helpful staff.
Booking in was a breeze and staff were there immediately to pull our caravan to our pitch. They even levelled it up for us.
The pitches were located around each field, (four fields in all). I stayed on the main field. Each pitch is extremely spacious, with electric and water points between two.
The view from each pitch is breathtaking and something that you could never tire of.
The toilets and showers were immaculately clean and of good quality.
A minutes walk takes you to lligwy beach. That is perfect for all.
A short walk either along a country lane or along the coastal path takes you into the beautiful village of Moelfre.
I have absolutely no bad points in regards to the site. The only down side is that the wifi isn't very strong.
But that in no way spoilt the site or the holiday.
We will definitely be returning.

This was the first time we have been to anglesey touring and we were not disappointed. Dafarn Rhos site was extremely well looked after. Location is ideal for those who love the beach. Toilets and showers were in good condition and cleaned on a daily basis. We were a bit worried after reading some reviews about the list of rules but we have to say we did'nt notice any of them. Staff very helpful when we arrived they sited our caravan which we were very grateful for as we are new to touring and the ground was slightly uneven and we had a lot of rain before we arrived. Will definitely return to this site in the near future.

A BIG thumbs up from us!
The View overlooking Lligwy Bay as you enter the site is stunning. Note: not all pitches overlook the beach.
There is access to the beautiful beach via a 'key fob' locked gate keeping the site secure from any stragglers.
The site staff were very friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for us to ensure we had a pleasant stay.
The site does have some strict rules regarding noise, music and driving around after 10pm, but they are fair and ensures respect for others is followed.
The main toilet/shower block was very clean (even had mops for you to self wipe the floor pre/post FREE shower)
There are also satalite toilets around the site which 'look like' festival units, but have hot running water and were very clean too.
We followed the coastal path in to Moelfre which I highly recommend and with stops was around 45 minutes and about 1. 5 miles. Fish and chips in Moelfre - WOW!, but be prepared for the queue (always a good sign!). Local Robinsons pub 'Kinmel Arms' serves real ales as well as the usual larger etc. And you can get cashback with debit cards if required. Anns Pantry also looked good for food/drinks.
The nearest facilities such as cashpoint/supermarkets etc are in Benllech about 3 mile away.
For the second day, we visited Treadurr bau on the west coast of the island, near Holyhead and followed more of the Anglesey costal path with amazing views of 'blue sea' Holyhead mountain and lighthouse.
We loved it - and will 100% be returning!
1 night, 2 man tent & 1 car = £20
Also, £20 deposit for the secure key fob - returned on departure

We stayed at this beautiful location recently. A lovely, peaceful site with easy access to the beach via a secure gate, which was good for walking the dogs. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The toilets and showers look a bit shabby from the outside, but were surprisingly immaculate inside. The nearest pub is about a mile away in Moelfre and the nearest supermarkets are in Benllech, but to be honest you'd be better to bring provisions with you. The only moan I had was I couldn't take the dog up past the office, not sure why but this seemed to be a big problem. It wouldn't put me off returning to this site though.
