This was our first trip out in a touring caravan.

This campsite has set the bar very high for anywhere else.

With individual screened pitches, fantastic individual shower rooms, with under floor heating and piped radio music.

Brilliant clubhouse and restaurant, Sunday lunch was amazing, oh did I say it was set in beautiful grounds with loads of fishing lakes.

It’s perfect

Just returned from another lovely weekend.

Brilliant site especially this time of year, all the roads are tarmac making it easy to move about. The pitches are fully serviced which again is brilliant at this time of year

We stayed on the Southern side which is the newer area, the facilities blocks are like a 5 star hotel and the staff do an excellent job keeping everything immaculate

The club house is so nice with separate areas for people with dogs, we had a takeaway delivered on Friday evening and enjoyed it in the bar with proper plates knifes and forks and even better no washing up as the staff take care of everything

We walked to Melton Mowbray on Saturday which is a nice walk about 3 miles along decent footpaths

The site may be a little more expensive that some but you get what you pay for and it is excellent

As other reviews have stated, great site with a great restaurant/bar and lovely grounds to wander around.

Facilities are top notch, pitches are high quality and entertainment laid on is also great fun.

Will be back soon.

This site is consistently good. The place is so well looked after. The showers and loos are spotless.

The pitches are good and spacious, mostly hardstanding with gravel beds for the awning and still room for some grass and your car.

The Northern site has hedging for privacy, and the Southern site, the hedging is newer but growing nicely.

The bar is lovely as is the sunday lunch. There are two large dog walks apart from on lead walking around the fishing lakes.

We also walked to The Royal Oak at Great Dalby where another super lunch was had.

Only there for one night arrived quite late and had to depart earlier so didn’t get to use all facilities such as cafe/clubhouse.

A warm welcome at reception and first impressions are that it is a picturesque and well maintained site.

The pitches are spacious and well maintained and the toilet facilities were great.

Looking forward to a return visit.

What a fantastic site. From the very start, the site looked well cared for, neat and tidy, spacious, beautifully landscaped and organised into various areas.

The reception/ shop/ restaurant and bar were excellent. Staff all managed to look happy!

We were in the south area very spacious, fully serviced pitches with two really superior toilet/ shower/ laundry blocks. Even piped music. Showers are individual bathrooms, with their own toilet, shower, hair dryer, bench and radiator.

Hot water without having to keep pressing the button. Booking on line you choose your pitch number so you know exactly where you go.

Barrier codes given. Plenty of recycling areas/ waste disposal.

Two secure paddocks to let your dogs have a safe run. The site is very dog friendly with a dog wash outside the toilet block. Dogs are allowed in the bar to the left of the club house.

7 fishing lakes for residents and non-residents. Seem well stocked. You can walk round most of them.

Farm shop about half hour walk across fields avoiding roads. They serve coffee in a temporary cafe.

Melton Mowbray is about a three mile walk across fields.

Loved it there and if possible would very happily go again. Highly recommended
