Easy to find, no narrow roads.
Check in was very good.
Each pitch appears to have electric and water, great.
Bar and restaurant appear to be big enough to accommodate high season numbers.
Sunday lunch was very good, and, as I understand from other guests, the meals in general are equally good.
Individual toilet/ shower/ washrooms are very nice.
Nice long walk around the whole site, and although we do not have a dog, they seem well catered for.
All in all an excellent site that I would highly recommend.

We have pitched up at many sites over the years, this one was by far the absolute best.
11 out of 10.
Very clean, it seems that they have looked at absolutely everything even a warm dog wash.

We stayed for 3 nights on this amazing site and wish we could have stayed for longer.
Everything about the site is excellent. The pitches come in two sizes, big and massive with a tarmac area for the car and caravan and a gravel area for the awning with a grassy area for sitting out.
Pitches are separated from each other by waist height hedges which gives a feeling of privacy without being too closed in. All pitches are fully serviced with water and waste drain on the pitch.
The toilet blocks are excellent. There are two blocks in the northern site and two blocks in the southern site. Each block has four individual bathrooms with toilet, shower and washbasin, one disabled bathroom and two gents and two ladies toilets.
Initially I thought that this might not be enough for a site of this size, however when we were there, the site was full and I never saw anyone queuing. There’s also dishwashing and laundry facilities. Everything was spotlessly clean and immaculately presented.
One of the things that we loved about the site was the amount of space around you for walking. We enjoy an evening stroll and this site has so many lovely walks around the lakes on site to provide plenty of scope for this.
We don’t fish, but if you do, I’m sure there will be something here for you as fishing seems to be very popular on the site with seven different fishing lakes.
There is a bar and restaurant on site where we had lunch on the day we arrived which was delicious. They serve cooked breakfasts and meals up to 3pm but no food in the evenings, however each evening we were there had either a different pop-up food vendor or the opportunity to order a takeaway from a local takeaway and eat it in the bar with a drink.
Altogether, this is one of the best sites that we have ever visited, and I’m really looking forward to returning later in the year.

From booking the holiday to leaving the site, cannot find a fault with this site. Showers and toilets were kept immaculate, including the shower facilities.
Our pitch very tidy and the site maintenance people where very helpful and approachable.
The walks around kept tidy and clean and excellent facilities for our dog. The on site bar very good bar staff and knowledgeable.
The only one problem I found was peaple flying around on electric two wheel scooters you couldn’t hear them coming from behind, don’t know what the outcome is if someone or dog got hit by these.
Ut 100% recommend.

This site is everything that its reputation tells you.
The staff were friendly and very efficient and helpful.
Both sites are immaculate and cared for. It was our pleasure to stay here.
The lakes are well thought out and the reception was super officiant.
We had breakfast in the pub/ restaurant and couldn’t fault it.
Pitches were a good size too.
We would highly recommend a visit and will definitely be going back 10/10

We like fully serviced pitches and prefer adult only sites…. Our first visit here exceeded expectations.
Our larger pitch, number 85, on the Southern site was excellent.
Access roads are fully tarmac as is the caravan standing, with gravel area for the awning.
Plenty of grass within the pitch boundary.
We did not use the facilities but they looked top notch.
We can recommend The Beaten Track in Melton Mowbray for coffee, tea and light meals. An immaculate gem serving delicious food.
Further away, The Fox at North Luffenham near Rutland Water served an excellent lunch in attractive surroundings.

What an amazing campsite!
Definitely worth the 5 star rating that it has.
Made getting ready for the wedding we were attending sooooo much easier, having the full bathroom to yourself!
We ended up staying on the site where animals were allowed, even though we didn't have any animals, but it was so quiet!
My eldest was ecstatic with having so many dogs around to pet 😆.
I will definitely be returning with my husband 🙂

We enjoyed our stay at Eye Kettleby. Nice large pitches and it's great to have water on our standard pitch too.
My only criticism is that we were on one side of the north close and our facilities did not have a washing up area. I ended up washing up on the pitch as it was too far to take pots and pans etc to the larger facility. Five star camping with individual bathrooms.
The site has a bar, tea rooms and has live entertainment every Saturday for those who want it.
Plenty of lakes for fishing too. Within walking distance of Melton Mowbray, a small market town. Plenty to see and do in surrounding areas.
We would certainly revisit if in the area.

This has got to be the standard for all other sites to achieve, fantastic individual bathrooms that are kept spotlessly clean.
Good size plots that feel private with the hedges between and great for the 4 legged friend.
An excellent club with loads of visiting food stalls that complements the food supplied from there own club.

This site is fabulous. The facilities are always clean, they are modern and have piped music.
The site itself is always well manicured. We noticed when somebody departed, the site was given a good once over within an hour to ready it for the next camper to arrive.
The bar and restaurant on site are lovely, they have a dog area and a non dog area too. There are various food wagons that come on a couple of nights, a quiz night on Thursday and live music on another night too.
There is a great pub at Great Dalby for really nice food. The farm shop also has all you need for your BBQ too.
