The site is immaculate. It is quite a large site with 2 areas for touring units. There are around 8 fishing lakes. There are also glamming pods and lodges for hire too. One of the areas for tourers has just opened with fantastic shower rooms.

We stayed in the older area. The shower block has private washroom and toilets and were immaculate. There is a hot dog shower too which is a bonus after the walks around the lakes.

There is a bar and restaurant which has recently been extended. They do lovely breakfast, coffee, cakes and lunch but no evening meals, however a fish and chip van comes and you can order takeaways and eat in the restaurant using their crockery. Bonus no washing up. There is entertainment some evenings too.

This is an Adult only site, however you do get families visiting for walking and the restaurant.

Access is good off a wide road. Not far from Melton Mowbray, Belvoir Castle, Rutland Water & Stamford.

Pitches are level and hard standing.

Another visit to this lovely site. Despite the weather it was full but all the amenities, as ever, were clean and warm and no queues. We ate a lovely Sunday lunch and Monday breakfast in the clubhouse.

A second touring park is nearing completion and the clubhouse is being extended. I hope the overall tranquillity of this site is not spoilt. My only comment would be that especially with the increased number of pitches an increased presence of staff on the touring park might be helpful.

If there are noise issues or other problems the only recourse is to go to the clubhouse, quite a walk away. After this closes there is nothing available as phone goes to answer machine.

We will however be trying out the new park in the near future.

What an absolute gem of a site! Well organised, lovely helpful staff and no kids! Heaven!

Generous pitches, all with a water supply to each pitch (even the standard pitches which we were on), and no charge for erecting an awning. The super pitches have grey water disposal too so no lugging the hog to and fro.

There are several toilet / shower blocks which are kept spotless with lots of hot water and piped music were lovely and warm.

With 8 beautiful lakes for hubby to fish, he was spoilt for choice. He caught plenty so he was a happy bunny.

The Clubhouse has live music on Saturday nights, a quiz night (which was great fun and got everyone laughing and talking together), plus breakfasts and lunches, free DVDs to borrow if you don't fancy going out, in short it has everything you could want.

Melton Mowbray is literally just down the road with plenty of shops for browsing, and Rutland Water not too far away for beautiful peaceful walks.

Eye Kettleby Lakes is a well thought out site providing just about everything you need and we do not hesitate in recommending it.

We had a weekend break here and it was even better than it looks in the photos. We chose a pitch and booked online. On arrival we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, the facilities were spotless as was the whole site.

Our fully serviced pitch was level and nice and wide. We had a drink or two in the clubhouse/lounge where on Saturday night we listened to the Acoustic Guitarist that was playing.

This is one of the best sites we have been to in our 7 years of touring, possibly The best.

Lovely site, good size plots and the toilet and shower cubicles are brilliant, one of the best I have ever come across (could maybe do with a fan when you go in that you can turn on as can get quite hot in the cubicle), the only other slight negative comment would be the gravel is quite hard to get pegs in (ensure you take a lump hammer) could do with being different type of gravel so pegs can go in easier. Other than the 2 slight negative comments I would recommend this site to anyone

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. All the pitches are fully serviced. Although it was a big site with lodges and fishing lakes the caravan park was very clean and quiet. Excellent facilities. Toilet and shower together. Both the reception staff and bar staff were very friendly. The fish and chips on Wednesday night are very good.

We booked this site because my husband is a keen fisherman, and we had not been before I booked on line and chose a lake view. I didn't realise that it was a service pitch which was fantastic, we arrived and wow what a lovely site it was Wednesday evening we were near the toilets and showers which were the cleanest I have seen piped music, log cabin feel and a laundry room too, we went to the clubhouse where a fish & chip van arrives that evening you can sit outside or in and use the plates and cutlery, the club serves breakfast and lunches you can take the dogs in the lounge area where there is a pool table, shop, books etc. Also there are lots of leaflets on the local area and takeaway menus, on Friday nights you can order a takeaway and eat in the clubhouse or have it delivered to your pitch which we did a lovely Indian the best I have tasted in a long time. Everyone was so friendly it is a fantastic site and we will be booking again. it is adult only as well. only one tiny tiny thing you cannot fish the lake we were near, it is only ornamental but my hubby did manage to catch a few In the other lake.

Just come back from a weekend here. Lovely site, spacious pitches separated by small hedges. We had a superior pitch which had water/waste etc on pitch. One problem you need a very, very long fresh water hose as the bollard holding these was the opposite side to where we had to pitch. Not all the pitches were like this though. You got given a picture on how to park car, van and awning. We had to use the normal aquaroll.

Nice bar and small restaurant. We had a snack and very nice it was too.

Lots of fishing lakes (7) and very popular for anglers.

Wash rooms were like having your own ensuite. Loo, wash basin and big shower and then a separate dressing area including a hair dryer. All just for you in 4 separate blocks. Best I have ever been too.

Nice walks around this very large area for dogs but not many dog bins. They had a walk dog shower as well but we didn't use this as our dogs are non swimmers.

Went into Melton Mowbray on Sunday but most of shops closed.

Would recommend for a weekend.

We recently visited Eye Kettlby, which is a departure from our normal stays on cl's. It came well recommended from some mates at work. The booking procedure was done on line, you can select your pitch from the site plan. What a fabulous site. All pitches are separated by small hedge, with a hook up, tap and a drain. (there are some cheaper non service pitches available ). The toilet facilities have to be seen to be believed, individual toilet units containing toilet shower and wash basin, and with piped music. The disabled facilities are also amazing, I have never seen such a large well equipped room. The grounds and facilities are kept spotless. There are about 7 lakes around the grounds and day fishing can be purchased. Reception is a short walk from pitching area and there is usually live music on Saturday night. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The site is strictly adult only, and this includes visitors.

This site is one of the best around, from booking to arriving and leaving every thing is spot on. The cleanliness of the place is top notch, everyone is so friendly, its a very quite site just what you need to recharge your batteries, will be back. The showers are so roomy that I do not need to use the disabled ones well done you.
