I was there just on GB holidays (come from France) for 2 or 3 nights. Good place for pitch. Toilet block big enough (no queue) and clean. Easy to wash clothes and dry. Staff very kind helpful. I let my camera and laptop to be recharge, no problemo. First I thought than the campsite was in the middle of nowhere. But nice place to walk on the canal (beautiful !). And big tesco at dursley. Bif traffic near Bristol but easy to take the train at Cam and Dursley to go to Bristol. Nice place with boats taxi. I visit Bath too easy to go by car on second road. I went to Cheddar and Glastobury : very nice places !

We spent 3 nights at the Tudor Caravan Park,
We found the site to be very busy for the time of year but some schools must have broken up already. The site is a large field with lots of hard standing for caravans but we set the tent up on the field. Which is flat and well drained.
The Good
The shower block was clean and well thought out.
There is a pub 2 mins walk away at site entrance.
The site is well place for local attractions.
The bad
This site was busy, even for a week day and unless you got up really early you had to wait for the showers in the morning.
The birds are very noisy at about 4AM, not that this is the site fault but be warned
Overall it is a lovely site but think that it is mainly for motorhome and caravans then tents

Visited this park two years ago and was glad to see new toilet blocks now commissioned - a vast improvement on the old block which seriously is in need of refurbishment. Neat and tidy grounds with well trimmed (and flat) grass areas.
Gets very busy over weekend - lot of vehicle movements made worst by un tarmaced roadways we had dust constantly chucked over us! Excellent pub nearby with good grub. Slimbridge Trust just a walk down the road.
Not far off the M5 making site good stop over. Reception pleasant but they don't take Switch or Credit Cards which is not helpful.

It was our first time camping as a family, so it was important to go to a site not too far away and had good facilities.
On both accounts we were not disappointed, the check in at reception was easy, the person at reception was helpful and polite.
We camped without EHU, so we were a field down from where the toilets were.
The field is large and open with little shade or shelter, it is a little featureless but not at all unpleasant, we had plenty of space and a number of water points were close by.
The toilets and shower block were modern, very clean and tidy; I would recommend getting in there early to avoid queue at peak times around 8-9 am.
The washing up facilities in the same block was new and clean along with a laundry.
The Tudor Arms is quite a nice pub and the premium perry at 7.5% at £2.35 a pint gets the thumbs up, the boat station was good for breakfast but be prepared for a wait at busy times.
It is a good site near the canal and a great base to tour the area.

Lovely flat site with neatly cut grass. There is 1 very old toilet / shower block that is not at all pleasant. There is another new toilet / shower / washing up building that is beautifully finished. However saying that it has only recently been opened it looks as if the block is not cleaned very well at all. All the grout has dirt and scum on and brackets to the panelling were caked with grime. The loos were in the same state. A shame really as its a beautiful facility being let go to rack and ruin. We ended up using our caravan for toilet and showering in as the 4 showers were stretched to say the least.
On the good side the site is in a stunning location on the Gloucester & Sharpness canal with cycling and walking a must. Beautiful sunsets over the canal. The pub does good food at reasonable prices and there is a canalside cafe and shop too. WWF Slimbridge is just down the lane and there is an abundance of birds - The Dawn Chorus is phenomenal!
I would definitely recommend this site to those who do not mind using their units to shower and toilet in and who love stunning locations.
There are lots of campers on site at weekends which made the site overcrowded and the rubbish skips were insufficient to take all the trash.
There is an adult only section of the site which was very reassuring as there was quite a bit of noise from the large camping field.

Had a great stay at this site for 2 nights. Managed to get in on a cancellation very helpful staff. Did hope to speak to reception before we left to let them know what a lovely site they have. Very clean even though the site was busy and bins full they were kept tidy. The site is well maintained with lovely trimmed hedges, short grass and bedding areas around toilet.
Good facilities maybe a tad tired but there is a new block further from where we were. Water taps n wash up areas close by. The pub was lovely great food.
Canal near by and was great to watch the boats, and the bridge opening for them. A short walk to Slimbridge wetlands which was a lovely day out. Would recommend this site and go again ourselves.

Just great. Arrived a bit late but welcome note and instructions left for us conveniently. Very clean and quiet pitch. Excellent clean and plentiful facilities in a great location by the canal. Friendly flexible staff catering for a good crowd of assorted campers. Off site facilities nearby included pub with good food, beer and restaurant and a canalside cafe for snacks and more traditional fare.

This is a great site, primarily for caravans and campervans, although our tent was very welcome and we were certainly not the only campers in tents!
Fantastic facilities with the new shower and toilet block, but this is closed mid morning for cleaning. When this block is closed there is another that you can use,so no problem.
Flat pitches and the site is very well maintained.
There is a shop on site which sells reasonably priced camping essentials including Gas.
There is a pub at the site entrance which is extremely handy and the canal runs alongside the site.
There are some lovely walks in the local area and plenty of cafes etc along the way!
I found this campsite to be very good value for money.
Lovely campsite and great spot for a weekend.

This site is a must visit! I had been a little concerned by their adult only field when booking as we have a 6 year old but needn't have worried.
The site was full, yet the amenities were spotless and there was always showers available etc. It is very quiet and the pitches are well spaced so as you are friendly with your neighbours but not sat in their laps.
The scenery and wildlife was just as impressive, and there are shops and fuel nearby. We will definitely use this site again!

We used this site as a stop over for one night. Friendly welcome, decent sized pitches, nice shower blocks and facilities.
The pub is at the entrance to the site, food was good, although slightly on the expensive side.
Just a word of warning as per the sites instructions, do not listen to your sat nav, follow the signs shown on the Tudors website, there is somewhere to turn around down the narrow lane, but its tight.
