We stayed for 3 nights on a pitch with ehu, water and drainage. The ground was a little soft but after the exceptionally wet winter where isn't. There is one centrally situated toilet/shower block with outdoor but sheltered dish washing facilities.
I found the ladies toilets and showers a little disappointing as they continually smelt like a damp mop and where children had thrown wet toilet paper up high on the walls it remained throughout our stay, the toilets were kept clean though and it was nice to have private wash basins.
There are only one set of dustbins which is a shame as from quite a lot of pitches it is a fair walk if you have a full sack. The dog walk is a narrow woody path which we didn't use as it was so muddy but as the site wasn't very busy we just walked him around the site and off site along the Thames.
You do get quite a lot of background noise from the local main road, the M3 and Chertsey Wier, the planes to and from Heathrow didn't bother us but I wouldn't like to be there at the height of summer with more frequent flights.
There is a hotel nearby with bar and restaurant that gives campers a discount. We visited Windsor Great Park for a walk which was very nice, dogs can go through the visitor centre to the dog friendly terrace if you want a cup of tea.
The site is useful for visiting Windsor, Runneymead, Virginia Water and London. The Wardens were lovely, very helpful.

I’m here again 3rd time
I use this site as I used to live in Addlestone and camp here to be able to catch up with friends
I’m here for a week weather is awful but then it’s horrible everywhere in the uk !
There isn’t much I can say that hasn’t already been said, all I can do is back up what has been said
Staff are very good never feel rushed checking in lots of smiles and time taken to make you feel comfortable
There is the escort to your pitch with advice and also the escort is listening to your choice or preferences
It must be difficult to deal with some customers as people can be very demanding some times but they are doing a good job and I for one appreciate their attention and hope that I’m not that difficult customer
There is some noise on site but that’s the nature of its location but I never find it intrusive
Everywhere is clean and tidy so there’s a good maintenance going on
There’s no faults that I can see but I’m sure if it was reported the staff would do their best to rectify the problem
So thank you for my stay please keep up the good work it’s appreciated
I’ll be back again (sorry)!

We stayed at the site after visiting Windsor Legoland. Beautifully kept with extremely clean facilities. The site staff were extremely friendly with a mobile butty van on site which opened in the morning and evening. Not a lot to do in Chertsey but there are a number of pubs there about.
The site is approx 1 minute walk from the Thames so if your into canoeing its an excellent pitch. If your looking to explore London the train journey is just over an hour with Legoland Windsor and Thrope Park within driving distance. A site that we will be visiting again

We stayed at the site for 3 nights, shown to our pitch which we had a choice of by friendly staff member.
The site is quite and well kept, the shower block very clean and plenty of hot water in the showers.
Lovely to see Tree creepers a Thrush and Woodpecker on the grass outside.
There is a hum of traffic which is not a problem because it is continuous and also aircraft going over which you do expect.

Stayed for 2 nights 28th & 29th April 2017, used it as a base for Twickenham Stadium. The site takes non-members £21. 85 per night (£10. 70 for members), for a grass non-electric pitch. Only one car permitted to be parked on the pitch, any additional cars can be parked in the car park near reception.
Upon arrival park in the car park just passed the reception. When booking on site they will provide a code to open the barrier to access the main site. The barrier is locked 2300-0700. Very friendly staff who show you to your pitch. The grass pitches are level. The site is very well maintained, children and dog friendly.
The ablutions are very clean, well serviced and plentiful to accommodate the number of pitches available, there was no queuing. The shower cubicles are large enough to get changed with a seat and clothes/towel hooks, the show temperature is fixed, and work on a push button timer, repeat pressing of the button to keep the water supply, shame the temperature could not be adjusted, (hence 8 stars), the water was a bit warmer than I normally have it, but not too hot. Plenty of local fresh water ports and a children's play area.
Gas available on site and nearby if you run out. Washing machines cost £3. 50 and dryers £1. 00 for a 20 minute cycle.
There is a cafe on site opposite reception which serves breakfast 0800-1130 and burgers, fish and chips 1700-2000 Saturdays, Sundays, also open and every morning and evening during school holidays.
Turn left out of campsite opposite is a BP garage for newspapers, continue for 100 yards on the left is the Bridge Hotel & Boat House Restaurant, where campers get 20% discount on meals (excluding the carvery). Turn right out of campsite a 20 minute leisurely walk to Chertsey for cafes, pubs, shops and Sainsbury's supermarket and a further 10 minutes leisurely walk to end of village to the train station, (about 1. 5 miles from the camp site).
There is some noise from the nearby road and M3 motorway, but this is minimal and soon unnoticeable. The site is below a flight path which was annoying on the first night, but still managed to get a good night's sleep (also reason for 8 stars). Dawns chorus included an unusual chirp from a couple of wild parakeets perched in the trees behind my pitch, and met some inquisitive grey squirrels on my way to the ablutions. I wasn't quick enough with my camera!
If you can put up with the occasional aircraft, then this is a highly recommended campsite. I will definitely be returning next year as it is a brilliant location as a base camp for Twickenham and London with plenty of local infrastructure facilities and services on hand if you need them.

First trip away of the year, used this site before and really can't fault it.
It's a great location for the likes of London, Thorpe Park, Legoland and Windsor etc. Owners are great, not at all pushy but there if you need them.
Can choose your pitch if the option is available, once shown to it they just let you get on with it, facilities always clean and piping hot water.
There is some noise from road and aircraft but if staying anywhere that area it's to be expected.
Two great pubs within 5 minutes and town centre a leisurely 20 minutes walk away where you can get trains into London.
Whenever we plan to go this area then this site will always be our first choice.

Actually arrived on 31 March for a 3 night stay to visit our daughter and enjoy her 50th birthday. Found it a lot cheaper than staying in a hotel. Very easy to find from the M25. Biggish site. A mixture of grass pitches and hardstanding amongst trees.
There is some aircraft noise and M3 motorway isn't far and could hear some traffic noise, but these issues didn't bother us as we live just as near to the M60 in Manchester and we are under the flight path of aircraft coming into land at Manchester.
The staff are really friendly and let you get on with pitching.
There are two great pubs, The Bridge (we didn't try this as there was a do on, but when the restaurant is open, you get a 20% discount from the site), but we did try The Kingfisher.
Nice, but pricey. The toilets are clean and plenty of showers and private cubicles with washbasins. When the one in the middle of the site is closed for cleaning, the other one close to reception is open.
One thing which I thought is rather a negative is that the bins are close to the exit, and you could find you have a rather long walk, so you may have to put your rubbish in the car and drop it off on your way out!

As with many other reviews of the site the staff are friendly and welcoming took us to allocated pitch but offered any other pitch we wanted,
I was personally bothered by the road noise from M3 and by the aircraft noise I new these were possible problems but in my case it prevented a good nights sleep.
Of the two pups close by we found the kingfisher a much nicer friendlier place.

We used this site for just 2 days and loved it in such a small time.
We arrived at a very busy time but this was no problem, the staff in reception are really friendly, a guy on a bike took us to our plot and guided us in. We were on the edge of the river Thames so the view was lovely. In the morning we were surrounded by the lovely feeling of nature, rare ducks, squirrels and birds I had not seen before.
The toilet facilities were extremely clean and tidy and very convenient to where we were. The day recreation room looked good as well, as it was raining there were plenty of families using it.
We were there for the sole reason of getting into London for an event in Hyde Park. There are two stations close by, 20 minute walk to Chertsey station or a taxi to Waybridge Station. Both had routes straight into Waterloo. The trains were on time too!
We had a dog with us who had to be kept on the lead. All the surrounding area were dog friendly, the walk along the Thames was beautiful.
The pub over the bridge, called the Kingfisher allowed dogs, so we were able to have a lovely meal in there.
If we needed to go to London again we would definitely use this site again.

As Merlin pass holders this year we choose this site to base ourselves for 2 weeks to visit the near by attractions. Thorpe park was only a few minutes away, both Legoland and Chessington World of Adventure are only a short drive away. The site is excellently placed to visit all of the parks from.
We stayed on one of the Super pitches, and found it clean and tidy on arrival which is always a good start! The site itself it well maintained no litter, well looked after toilets and showers, with plenty to cope with demand.
Heathrow airport is in close proximity so there is the noise of the areoplanes, but it never really bothered us. The site is also next to the river and had some really nice looking standard pitches near to the river.
The kids park was a little disappointing, comprising of only really a couple of swings and a small climbing frame, sadly this did not keep our kids amused for long, and would be a consideration if we were to visit again.
