Very good campsite. Friendly, helpful staff. Escorted to good size pitches. Lovely clean, warm shower/toilet block. Covered washing up area. Great view of the river/weir next to the site. Dog walk fine too. If you save your receipt from the campsite you can get a 20% discount off meals/drinks at the 'The Boat Inn' within walking distance. Had an excellent meal in there. Okay there is some overhead noise from the planes taking off from Heathrow but you get used to it. I shall certainly use this site again.

What a lovely clean site!
We stayed for 5 nights, with our 13 and 14 year old. Reception was efficient, pleasant and we were shown to our pitch - 20 which was flat, well drained and a good size.
Shower block and toilets very clean. Previous grumbles listed about closure of the facilities from 11-12. 30 - I would rather have to walk a little further to the reception during this time and have a sparkling, clean shower block and toilets.
Perfect location for London. Trains from Weybridge to Waterloo are the cheapest. Lovely walks close by along Thames. Bridge Hotel next to site offers 20% discount on food and drink if you show your campsite receipt well worth it. The Kingfisher Pub 2 mins away, good food with excellent service. Petrol station across road is well stocked. We did try the fish and chip van on the Friday but sadly it wasn't very nice and not good value.
Rabbits and squirrels roam freely, careful to keep all food waste away from squirrels! Quiet but perfect base for sightseeing.

What a great site. Just returned from a long weekend and although the weather wasn't pleasant the welcome was. On arrival we were escorted to our pitch and then guided onto the hardstanding pitch. The help was much appreciated as darkness was falling and wanted to get the awning up before the light faded.
Connection from the M25 couldn't be simplier, made a very easy drive.
The facilities were first class and always spotless even in the poor weather conditions, the showers were hot and even had 3 pegs for your clothes, such decadence as I'm usually complaining because there is only 2. Out and about there isn't a great deal there, but the local town has a Sainsbury's for supplies, just don't take you caravan with you to get petrol!
London is easy to get to, about 1 mile drive to Weybridge station (for a better service).
All in all first class service and site.

What a nice site. A nice oasis in the suburbs. The staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities clean and well maintained. We had a pitch by the river and the only advice I can give you is, if you have a tent don't pitch it under a tree. The birds will use it for target practice. Had to buy a tarpaulin to cover the tent as we were here for a week. The tent was protected so we were happy.
Just outside the site there are 2 pubs either side of the bridge with lovely pub grub and a garage and shop for the essentials. If you want to go to London,
Drive to Weybridge train station, park the car and get the train to Waterloo. 30 mins. Journey. So the big question is would I go again? Yes without hesitation.

Stayed 2 nights and despite bad weather the site was well maintained.
Check in was efficient and both toilet and shower blocks were spotlessly clean and well maintained.
2 local pubs -- I personally preferred the 2nd one -- The Kingfisher as it had a nice pub feel and served good value meals as well. The 1st pub (The Bridge Hotel) was nicely situated but lacked a choice of decent beers and more on the expensive side. The walk over the bridge can be a tad scary --- keep close to the wall as the traffic doesn't always slow down!
Lots of wildlife to enjoy.
The only downside were some boisterous children who took a liking to ''play'' by the barriers -- however this is more to do with lack of parental control and once mentioned to the assistants they had a word with them.
I would recommend this site --- despite being close to London it was a peaceful stay. The information room was well stocked and local transport easy to access.

We stayed at this site so that we could visit legoland and loved the site & will definitely return as there is so much to do in the area.
I was initially hesitant in booking this site due to the mixed reviews but I am glad I did as it is a lovely site.
We had a super service pitch in close proximity to one of the lovely modern facility blocks, which were very clean, with plenty of private washing cubicles & lovely showers.
The staff were very friendly & the site is next to the river. There is a spar in the petrol station opposite the site entrance & 2 pubs on the river front.
Great location as it is a woodland oasis in near chertsey centre close to many theme parks & attractions. Only criticism is the location of the bins means you have to take rubbish in car to drop at bins on way out of the site.
Lovely site worth visiting with an air of 'adults only' yet child friendly.

Went to this site for the Easter week to do some sight seeing in London. I was a bit wary at first with the mixed reviews on here, but there was no need to be.
On arrival the wardens were very helpful, showed us to our pitch and even showed us how far forward we should go on the pitch to get the caravan as level as possible.
Toilet/ shower block was always very clean, good powerful hot showers with plenty of space for clothes and towel. Very pretty site which was kept tidy.
Yes there was some noise from the weir and aircraft but to be honest after the first night we didn't notice it. We had a pair of ducks come to visit our awning every evening and if you go to the toilet block after dark don't trip over the rabbits! There were even wild parakees in the trees.
We caught the train from Weybridge (approx 10/15 mins drive away) into London each day costing £26 a day for all 3 of us and included all your tubes once in London.
You do have to make sure you get the new barrier entry number on Mondays, we were going out for the day before the shop / office opened but I found one of the wardens and they opened up especially for me so that she could find out what the entry number was, so again very helpful. If you do forget or arrive after 11pm there is space to park just outside the barrier.
Didn't try the food in the 2 pubs which are in walking distance as we were too tired by the time we got home every night, but we will definitely be going back next year so will try them then.

A wonderful site run by wonderful staff. Although the staff can seem to be officious they do it with good grace and humour.
We stayed here quite a long time and loved everything about this site.
The location is excellent, facilities kept immaculate although some people went out of their way to spoil them, I can never understand why people cannot leave facilities as they find them.
The landscaping was stunning, nice big trees( made satellite reception tricky), hedges and the River Thames running alongside the site. There was 2 pubs within a 5 minute walk and both served good food.
The ONLY fault would be the aircraft overhead, it was constant, but when staying for a long period, you actually tuned it out.
Easily in the top 5 sites we have visited and shows how good staff can make the difference.

This was my first Club site. It was unfortunate that when I was organising the booking, they were having issues with the implementation of a new computer system and so were not answering the phone for the week. We played telephone tag for a few days before I used the central call centre instead which worked just as well.
My first impressions were a little frustrated as, having specified that I would be arriving at about 2:30 and arriving only 15 minutes later, that it took me over half an hour to find anyone to check me in. Another chap I spoke with during my stay had said he would be arriving after 8pm and they put it into the system as 6pm. As a result, when he did arrive he was admonished for being inconsiderate.
There is a security barrier which has a pin number entry. It changes every Monday and people need to ensure that they go to the office to collect the new number each Monday. I went to the office for the number 15 minutes before the official office hours ended to find that the office had been closed early. The assistant Manageress was, thankfully, having a cigarette by her pitch so I was able to get the number in the end.
The pitch was a good size though I was a little perturbed that, given the number of empty grass pitches, there was a tent camper sandwiched between the back of my pitch and the fence.
The site is a lovely site and has a good number of serviced pitches, hard pitches with EHU and grass pitches.
The ablutions block was very good. It was my first experience of push button showers though they were free. There was only a single soap dispenser tucked around the side of the looks which it took a while to find.
I think that they may not have the best of drains as there was 1 day when there was a slight whiff in the loos which were very noisy when flushing and the smell by the motorhome service point was dreadful. However this was sorted out very quickly.
The laundry was notably more expensive than the previous site I was in though I suspect that it was a fairly normal price at £3. 50 for the wash.
They had WiFi that you could buy access to though the 3G mobile phone network was so good that I had no need for it during my stay. The TV signal was not so good as it was affected by the flights in and out of Heathrow.
The noise from the M25, the M3, Heathrow and the Weir could be loud especially when it was also windy and raining hard though the site itself was picturesque and peaceful on the riverside in most weather conditions.
The site is in a flood zone and so there are rules that you must have a towing vehicle on site and are not allowed to leave the van unattended over night without prior permission.
Overall I think this is a good Club site.

Spent two nights here and can't understand why a previous reviewer thought that standards had gone down. The site is in a pretty setting and we were amazed by the shower/toilet block. The main one housed FIVE shower cubicles and the minor one had three. Plently of sinks in cubicles as well. Facilities were absolutely spotless so well done to the staff who were very helpful and welcoming.
Yes, a few pitches seemed as if they had been 'over-camped' but it has been a busy season (camping has never been so poular in recent times) and in these economic times, I guess you don't turn people away.
We didn't have any days out as we had visitors for the day but the site seems central to various local attractions. We did eat at the Kingfisher twice and were pleased with the food, service and value. The Boathouse, on the other hand, looked a bit on the expensive side but still a very pleasant venue. Both pubs are a few minutes walk from the site.
The downside is that we found the site a bit noisy due to our proximity to the weir (already mentioned by a previous reviewer) and the road so there was a constant drone of traffic. The planes also could be a bit of a pain but didn't fly all night.
However, I wouldn't let this put you off unless you are a very light sleeper. Suggest you ask for a pitch further away from the road and the river.
Overall we had a lovely weekend and would definitely visit again.
