This is the second time we have stayed at the site

This is by far the best site with the best facilities we have stayed at.

Staff are friendly and helpful, there is a shop with the necessities that you need. There are two shower blocks, one has family showers that have good shower, well lit room, consists of basin and toilet and most importantly a place to put your things hooks and a bench to sit on.

The other blocks have individual showers basins and loos, all have places to put your belongings.

We arrived on the Friday afternoon and was taken to our pitch by one of the staff, the pitches are individual cove type pitches that give you a little privacy from the other pitches.

The only down side of our trip was the next tent to us, they were very noisy and played music into the night, they were laughing loudly singing etc, they made no attempt to even keep quiet something we always do.

The next morning I had to complain to the staff as I did not want other tent owners thinking the noise was us, the site owners told us that we should have phoned the number that was given to us on the welcome pack so that the nuisance could have been sorted immediately. They told us they would not tolerate any noisy neighbours and would speak with them immediately something that they did do.

The next door tent owners did in fact apologise to us that same morning so all was well.

Great site definitely worth a visit.

Summary – A Very Good camp site, superb facilities.

We stayed here in a caravan for a 4 night rally with the Caravan Club. A very friendly and helpful site manager made us welcome and was very willing to ensure the rally went well. This is a large well laid out site, there are several types of pitch some fully serviced, some tucked away closer to nature. There is a small lake at the center of the site giving an nice outlook to many pitches. Pitches are large and many luxurious, with their facilities including BBQ stands and picnic tables. There are two superb facilities blocks with family bathrooms and underfloor heating.

The dog walk is superb. We could not fault the site.

There is a bus stop outside, good walks from site and a cycle track to Ilfracombe (why would you want to go there).

This was the first site we went to with our Motorhome for a shakedown weekend. We had a few teething problems with our purchase and the site wardens couldn't have been more helpful. We visited mid March and the site was quiet as you would expect. We chose this site because of the fantastic reviews and everything about this site is spot on. The shower and toilet blocks were immaculate. I could imagine staying in the summer for a week and the site being able to cope very well if full.

Try the freshly baked goodies that are on offer from reception for you to collect at 9am each morning. Pans au Chocolate, fresh scones and baguettes! And fantastic!

We will return at some point in the future. :-)

We stayed at Warcombe Farm at the end of July 2013 for a week. We chose a premier pitch and was allocated 238 which is at the bottom of the site. The pitch was surrounded on three sides by an established hedgerow providing us with a lot of privacy which is quite different to those at the top end of the site. I couldn't fault the pitch, it was huge (we have a Vango Maritsa 700 with front extension and still had lots of room) and having a water tap for our personal use was great.

As all the other reviews have said the main shower block was first class. Larger than average shower cubicles and a shelving unit allowed for safe and dry storage of clothes and toiletries to prevent the need for multiple bags to contain everything! The heated floor was heated enough to ensure the tiles weren't cold.

The site is a great location and we walked to Morte Point and Lee Bay and took day trips to Woolacombe, Ilfracombe and Lynmouth. There is plenty to see and do around this part of Devon, so much that we didn't fit everything in. That's fine though as we will definitely be revisiting and staying again at Warcombe Farm.

There's nothing I can fault this campsite for. It would be nice to see an undercover area to sit/eat so the food purchased from the visiting vans can be eaten at the top of the site even in the rainier days.

Would definitely recommend Warcombe Farm.

Our second visit to this site this year and comments are much the same as our May visit. It is an excellent site but your are paying for the quality.

Some of the sites visitor's do not seem to respect the excellent facilities particularly the family washrooms. On each visit we had to clean up after the previous occupants by putting their litter in the bins which ARE provided and sweeping the water/soap and hair off the wetroom floor and down the drain with the mop which is provided. So come on camper's leave the wet rooms as you wish to find them.

One point for the site would be the new buffets which have replaced the timber benches in the family wet rooms are not really big enough for keeping a families stuff off the wet room floor which might lead to the coat hooks on the door being overloaded and broken.

We do like this site and will be back again.

We booked Warcombe Farm as a last minute break for 3 families. This campsite is amazing. When booking the reception couldn't have been more helpful.

As in all of the other reviews left on this site the toilet block, showers and family bathrooms are great. They are brilliantly fitted out and very clean.

The whole campsite was really clean, tidy and very well run with also a great children's play area on site.

The campsite is very well set out with larger than average pitches and some of these are very private and all have planting in between to give some privacy.

We loved this campsite and the area, and would definitely visit again. Couldn't fault it at all.

Our first stay at this site and will not be our last, Wonderfull facilities, showers, toilets, wash basins, all clean and never had to queue even in this high season period. We had a nice pitch (145) at the bottom of the site which was more sheltered, it was the perfect size for our 8 berth khyam tent and we had a gravel area to park the car. The staff were friendly very helpful and hard working even emptying waste bins at 10:30pm!. The shop although small seemed to have everything that you need at very reasonable prices (even the wine!), we liked the fact that you could order rolls and pastries for collection in the mornings. The fishing lake is very good, my son and I had a couple of very productive afternoons catching many fish, we took our own tackle but you can hire it from the shop, bait, just a can of sweetcorn. There is a large kiddies paly area at the top of the site by reception.

There are several visiting mobile food vans which visit the site throughout the week, when we arrived on saturday after setting up we thought we would go into town for some fish & chips, as we were tired and a fish & chip van was on site on saturdays we dubiously thought we would try it. Turns out the food was better than many established shops we have bought from! please try it!. There was also a pizza company making fresh pizzas to order but on the night we were going to try it there was heavy rain and they did not have any form of shelter so it looked a bit caotic so we gave it a miss.

The site is easy to find and only a couple of miles from Woolacombe, parking is expensive there, the main beach car park is privatly owned, it costs £7 for the whole day but if you leave before 1pm it is only £4, arriving after 4pm is £3. There is another large car park 200m up the road which charges £6 per day.

We had a very nice sunday carvery at the Fortescue Arms which is left out of the site for about half a mile then right at the T junction. We also discovered another restaurant called Cooks Island which is on the way to Ilfracoombe very reasonable good food but VERY busy booking advisable.

So to sum we really enjoyed our stay at this park and will be going back next year for two weeks.

Where do I start. What a fantastic site. Arrived a bit early but not a problem, we checked in and got shown to our pitch by one of the very friendly wardens, told where everything was and times of shower block closure(for cleaning). We had a premier pitch and it was well worth the money, picnic table, bbq stand, elec hook up and clean water and waste water point. Half hardstanding and half grass pitch which was very large.

There are some lovely pitches at the bottom of the park which are very private and sheltered by hedges but they are a bit further away from the toilets.

Shower/toilet block was immaculate and modern. Under floor heating, floor to ceiling tiles and lots of shelves inside the very spacious shower cubicles, hot water never ran cold. Personally didn't used the wash up area but again it was spotless.

Great play area for kids, climbing frames and a zip line. Fishing on the lake is a lovely way to spend an afternoon (plenty of fish eager to bite)so not boring for young children as no long waits for the fish.

Very well stocked shop and friendly staff who will go the extra mile to help you with anything. Also there is an information hut which is well stocked with info on the surrounding area and things to do.

Woolacombe beach is a 5 min drive away, The Tarke Trail for those who bike ride is really good even if you have children as it is flat all the way.

As you can see I have not given any negative feedback and that's because there isn't any. Our only problem now is that this site has set the bar very high for any other sites that we visit.

We loved this site and are looking forward to going back next summer.

We visited this site during the first week of June when we could not have picked better weather. The site is easy to find and although the approach road is narrow it was easy to navigate. On arrival we were greeted warmly at reception and then escorted to our pitch. We had booked a premium pitch and this was at the bottom of the site which is more natural looking than the top part which although is still lovely is more landscaped. The pitch was absolutely huge, you could of got two campervans with awnings and still had plenty of space. The pitch had a small brick bbq, 2 hook ups, water, waste drain and a picnic bench, it was a it more pricey to have this pitch but well worth it. The toilet facilities were very good, my only complaint was that the lights were on sensors and I did get left in the dark one evening!. The site is close to Woolacombe (walkable but steep) and also close to Morthoe which is easily walkable along the coastal path and the Chichester Arms is well worth a visit at the end. All in all we had a great week at this campsite and would definitely return (especially for the lemon muffins you can order from the bakery)

The campsite is a must if you want to visit the area. It is a 5 star site with everything you could want. I will be going back in August as I love this site. It is well accessible and is very close to the beach. We did use the family showers are they come in very handy with our 5 year old boy. The campsite is very clean and there is plenty of hot water in the showers and washing up facilities.
