Because of its location in a business park, it is not easy to find and we arrived in a gale - after that we started to enjoy our stay there. There is no division of pitches but the site is flat and well appointed. Once we understood how to use the security card, we were impressed by the quality and cleanliness of the toilet block. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Needs better signage in the industrial park!

Had a great stay at lady heyes
Staff were excellent
Pitches were very long we've got the outdoor Rev 6. 0xt and sun canopy which measures 10. 5 mtrs long and we still had room at the front of the tent
The pitch had a hard standing to the left where you park your car but there is also all grass pitches further down
Facilities were good but seemed to get messy very quick
All ready booked to return
Keep up the good work lady heyes

We stayed here with another family during the Easter holidays. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we easily found our pitch. Our pitches were fine but a bit tight to get into. They do sell a few things on site but not much so we went to the coop in the village nearby and also the chemist.
The toilet block was relatively new with plenty of toilets and very warm showers, we never had to queue. We had some noisy neighbours but that is not the fault of the site. The playground was a good size and the children enjoyed playing there. Not much for our teenage son but there was the all important wifi.
The craft centre was interesting and had some lovely shops however the overall impression was that the outside of the buildings needed a bit of TLC. Apparently there are plans in to revamp it.
We loved Chester and walked the city wall, had the best ever fish & chips near the tourist information.
We also went geocaching not far from the site and found some amazing caves.
We went to Tatton Park which was very busy but had an Easter egg hunt which the kids loved. Beautiful gardens but didn't like the amusements by the car park, not very national trust!
Our teenager loved the Cheshire Oaks outlet shopping centre which was fabulous and definitely worth another visit, only 15 mins from site.

I have just returned from Lady Heyes and found it to be a nice quiet site but rather exposed to the elements, I'm sure that will get better as all the trees grow all around the site. The staff were all pleasant and friendly enough and the toilets and showers very clean. There are some really nice antique shops and a great micro brewery also there. The Travelers rest pub down the road is OK but a bit pricey so you are better off going into Frodsham for a better choice, the Queens Head is very nice and is the only one that is dog friendly. All in All a nice place to go.

We visited this site for 5 days over the February half term school holiday.
First impressions were good, access to the site from the M56 was good, and the site access was clearly signposted. When we booked in the warden wanted a £5 deposit for the barrier access card, this was then returned to us when we left.
As has already been mentioned, the hardstanding pitches are a little narrow, with just enough space for a caravan and awning, we had to squeeze our car in front of the caravan as the small patch of grass alongside the pitch was very wet. The hardstanding is made from loose road stone, which annoyingly carries easy onto the awning groundsheet. As many of the pitches are unlevel, levelling blocks will be needed to level the van from side to side.
Others have mentioned how clean the toilet block is, and I'd certainly have to agree. You're supposed to access the block with the key card. But as the gents door never closed properly on it's own the key card was never needed. There are more than enough toilets and showers, even though the site was full at the weekend. I would have liked to see private wash cubicles, but this is just personal preference. The showers are of the push button variety, although I can see the need I do hate having to press the button every 10 -20 seconds to keep the water flowing. The washing up area was very clean and importantly, warm.
My son liked the playpark, though he did return to the caravan very muddy. Maybe play bark here would be a good idea.
Quiet time on this site is 10:30pm, though come Friday and Saturday night this rule wasn't adhered to by several noisy guests as noise continued to late in the night. There didn't seem to be any wardens patrolling the site at night to ensure the quiet rule was followed.
There's lots to do in the area, with the Wirral and other parts of Cheshire close by.

We only started visiting lady hayes this year 2014 and after one stay we love it here and cam several times throughout the year and have booked for 2015.
There's lots to do on site for the kids, the park is great and the shops are nice to look round - particularly the traditional sweet shop and book shop.
We regularly go up to oulton park if there is any car racing on as its only a 15 minute drive away. Even shopping in frodsham high street is a nice afternoon out.
Lots of pubs for teas out. The staff are great very friendly and will go out of their way to help you.
Every time we have been the other caravans and tents have all been quiet no screaming kids till late at night - which is another thing I like here.
We came for Halloween and had a great time and have booked for Easter and a few more dates next year - definitely one of my top 3 sites.

Great site, very handy for visiting Chester & surrounding areas.
On-site fish&chip shop (licensed in the evening) was very handy.
Staff on reception very friendly & helpful and pitches reasonably priced for the time of year.
Showers/Toilets modern & clean and never too busy despite the site being full.
For many of the pitches you will certainly need chocks & blocks as they are far from level. They are also laid with very cheap gravel that is almost impossibly to drive even heavy duty pegs into.
They would also benefit from more lighting on the site in the evenings.
We will certainly be back next year!

We have just returned from this site having spent the weekend there and its was brill !
Site is exceptionally clean and tidy, well presented all pitches are fully serviced. Although the site is quite large, with the toilet block being centrally located you never feel that you are out of the way stuck in a corner. Having said that you are never inundated with traffic passing you either, I personally think the site is very well proportioned for quietness and not feel stranded ?? There is a small shop on site, supplying only the very basic essentials. Price per pitch for out of season is very well priced for what is available on site, peak season its keenly priced !
There is a play area on site which is great and large enough for the size of the site, some sites have 100 + pitches 2 swings and a slide which just aint good enough, lady heyes is great and currently upgrading the play area once finished will be another feather in its cap. Keep up the great work. Well be back soon.

Arrived at the reception. Little confusion as to where this was at first. As you have to pass quite a few buildings / shops first.
Staff were friendly & position of amenities & rules were explained.
The main part of the site is all for caravans. So the toilets showers laundry / wash up room are all situated here.
The tent field is to the right, separated by a hedge. We had a part grass part hard standing pitch. Which was fine for us, maybe some wider tents or with side canopies may have struggled.
Lower down the field were all grass pitches & also then through another hedge was a large grass field for more tents.
The site was clean, there was a smell in the ladies toilet block but thy were cleaned regularly. Some campers had thrown charcoal from bbq's under the hedges around the camping field which was there the whole of our stay.
Quiet time is 10. 30pm till 7. 30am. Then rubbish is collected & the tractors make a lot of noise.
There is a play area on site. No park eg: no swings, slides, the area is set out like a fort / castle with a lot of sand. When wet a lot of mess. Ours are older & didn't play here, again this is in the middle of the caravan part of the site so if you have a tent you can't let the younger kids go as they can't be seen.
Toilet / shower blocks are accessed by a swipe card which you pay a deposit for & get back on return of the card.
Large showers, push type, just enough hooks to keep clothes up & dry & a curtain to separate washing & drying areas.
We did feel that the site was more geared to caravans than the tents. Not much in the way of scenic views.
The site is situated quite central to visit a few places. Blue Planet, Crystal Park, Catalyst Science, Apple Jacks Farm. To mention just a few.
