We love this site. The staff are very friendly and helpful, we have stayed numerous weekends here.

There are two shower blocks, one of which has toilets, plus washing sinks in as well. The site is kept spotless & staff are forever cleaning.

There is a craft centre next to site which is lovely to have a wander around. Also there is a restaurant & coffee shop, & garden centre.

If you like a game of golf, there is a 9 hole course, plus pitch & putt. Fishing is also available.

Although not the cheapest site we have stayed on, it is a premier park & we think it is worth paying a bit extra to get quality.

We will be visiting again this bank holiday weekend and I can't wait.

Stopped at this lovely site for 5 nights camping with EHC. On arrival we were checked in by polite friendly staff and then escorted to our pitch by one of the guys.

Pitches good size and in good condition, Showers / wc always very clean, only three showers in our block, but never seemed a problem.

Restaurant was very nice and so was the Golf club for meals. Baths cost £ 2. 20 per visit but well worth it, nice clean etc.

Plenty to do in round and about.

Will be going back in the near future

General Overview. Site slightly expensive, though beautifully laid out, extremely tidy and clean. Stayed on delux pitch adj to golf course which was well worth paying the extra rather than standard pitch. It's a site I would visit just for the week-end or long week-end as opposed to a longer stay. We will certainly go back there. Previous review by The four tops indicates showers being in separate building to wash facilities etc. In the block we used these facilities were all in the same room.

Negatives - Cost of using swimming pool expensive especially for families. During the 2 nights we stayed, the first night there was no bar open if you wished to go out for a drink. On the second night the bar on site was closed again but we were able to go to the golf clubhouse for a drink. As the site is slightly remote I think a cash machine on the site would be an advantage especialy given the retail outlet on site. Though staff on site were always polite they did not seem to go out of their way to try and be more helpful. On the whole the stay was fully enjoyable and I wouldn't let any of my perceived negatives prevent me from returning.

We had high hopes of a lovely stay at Plassey when we arrived on a Monday and this turned out to be true until Friday when the regulars arrived in droves and took over. The noise was dreadful, the kids ran about until after midnight and you couldn't hold a conversation in the bar.

Our other comments would be regarding the toilets and showers. They were very clean but in separate buildings so you could shower but not clean your teeth as the washbasin was in the toilet block.

It was all a bit inconvenient and there were not enough facilities for busy times. The swimming pool was lovely but at £2. 20 for an hour and a half very expensive for families.

 Stopped here for two nights.

On arrival was greeted warmly and shown straight to our pitch which was spacious for our small vw. There were plenty of facilities around us, water, Chemical waste and toilet block.

Showers were near the reception. Golf course looked good and the fishing pool near the top of the walk around the site fished well with me being the only person on there. Small carp 1lb and tench 1/2 lb lots of silver fish.

Prices in the bar seemed expensive. But would come back to discover the area further.

Stayed here a few times now and have nothing but praise for the staff they are helpful and nothing is to much trouble.

We have visited with the grand kids and also on our own. Our next visit is in oct 2013 looking forward to it, and taking my golf clubs along for the first time. We also found the farm shop just down the road is great for the BBQ food so don't go buying before you get there. Overall a great place to visit.

Just returned from Plassey after a 3 night stay and as previous visits, the site was very clean with the toilet and shower blocks being immaculate. When we arrived pallets were being given out due to the level of rain which would obviously protect the grass and also act as a mat before entering our van. (Good Idea).

Few areas I feel could be improved.

I feel £2.20 is excessive for the pool as for my wife and the two kids was £8. 80 X 3 days is disappointing. Feel the pool should be included within the price to stay (Which is not the cheapest). On the last day, the gent took our money and left the pool which meant no lifeguard on site. Is that right?

As keen golf players, my son (age 10) and I played golf on one of the nice days, I was bitterly disappointed that there was no concession prices for my son, and had to pay a full adult price of £17. 00. I asked the guys in the club house could I pay by card, and despite there being a card machine behind the bar, I was told No as it was not the golf clubs machine, (Yet in the golf club)

Minor point, felt there was more off a 'I cannot' rather than 'I will try' attitude with the staff, but again very polite and well mannered.

Generally a nice stay, but to take it to the next level for me, the above areas could be improved,

This is a very well maintained site in a lovely area. We stayed on a deluxe pitch which was nicely laid out with each space divided by a small wooden fence and climbing plants.

We weren't happy that several older children from various parts of the site were allowed to use the paths/roadways around the site as racetracks for bikes and scooters, and also practised 'stunts' on the speed bumps. For the size of this site I think it would benefit greatly from having an 'Adult only' area.

Our meal in the Golf Club was very good value, the Steak and Ale pie was delicious. The waitress was very friendly and attentive.

A long week-end was enough on this site, it is very expensive and it's the only site we've been to in 20 years of caravan & motorhome touring where we've had to pay the whole amount before arrival.

Fantastic site, beautiful location, lots of pleasant walks on and off site. Staff were all so friendly even had a lift on a staff buggy after I had helped try to relocate a lost lamb to its field with one of the rangers.

The pitches were perfect with hard standing for motorhomes with great views across the golf course and the fields full of cows and sheep. It is clear that the site owners are constantly improving the site.

There is a great range of small boutique shops on site selling a range of products from plants to nik naks.

The shower blocks were immaculate and one of the best we have been to. The only thing I would change is give the staff quieter blowing machines for getting the gravel off the site roads back on to the hard standing!

The Cross Foxes Pub a couple of miles away does lovely food and wine, the on site restaurant was fully booked very popular. The swimming pool looked lovely although we didn't have time to try it and the sauna was closed.

We have no children so didn't pay much attention to their facilities.

Just stayed at this site for 4 nights as we wanted to explore N. Wales and Anglesey. Beware when entering the site as it is a tight left turn! The reception staff were extremely friendly and we were shown to our deluxe pitch by a guy on a buggy. He was very helpful and explained about the pitch and where everything was on the site. This site is luxury, the shower cubicles are big, 3 might not be enough in peak season but we were impressed. Toilet block very modern with piped in radio. The site facilities are good, lovely views over the golf course. Will most certainly be visiting Plassey again in future.
