Very nice staff, beautiful site with excellent facilities

Lovely pitches

The only downside for us was it was a bit noisy from the nearby train line but that's just me I can't sleep on the front of my house on a main road

Found the campsite to be excellent had great toilets and showers and we had a great pitch -

It was well managed and maintained definitely would recommend it.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming and we would book again.

Lovely site except for the train that runs along the back and runs you til late at night and starts early morning

But the site has good facilities and is very clean

The site is in a great location for walking and access to Bamford, Hathersage and Hope.

The facilities were excellent and the site well maintained plus the shower/toilet facilities were very clean.

The only slight downer is the close location to the train line. We were fine with the trains in the day and had checked that passenger trains finished around 11pm. However, this is also a freight line that runs throughout the night.

Will probably stop here again but will take some ear plugs.

A wonderful site in Bamford with excellent shower and toilet facilities and beautiful grounds.

Pam the owner is so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble even when we had to disturb her on her sit on mower when we arrived!

The site is immaculate and facilities second to none, very clean and covid friendly. the staff are very helpful

The only downside is being so near the train lines which run heavy goods trains throughout the night and being a light sleeper I didn't get a good night's sleep

Lovely clean & tidy site, close to trains/buses for all the Peak District walks you want to do.

Showers/toilets all new and COVID friendly, owners very amenable, loved it, would definitely go back.

This campsite is stunning and the owners are so friendly and accommodating.

Very convenient location with a shop and pub nearby.

Very COVID safe and the toilets/showers were kept extremely clean.

This is the only campsite we’d stay at in future in this area

Stayed for two nights on this lovely site! Pam was really friendly and helpful.

The toilets and showers were spotless,

The only thing I would have changed was the push button showers they don’t stay on for long, in saying this it seems to be a standard thing at most sites and we will definitely be returning.
