Message from site owners:
Due to circumstances beyond our control, as of Monday July 1st 2024 we are no longer allowed to accept Tents, Tourers or Motorhomes on our park.
We are deeply saddened to have to write this as we have had many lovely visitors over the years and have thoroughly enjoyed meeting you all.
We still have lodges and pods available to book via Hoseasons and availability/prices can be found on their website.
If you know that this situation has changed in the future, please could you let us know. Many thanks

A lovely little site, staff friendly, facilities clean. It has all the basics you expect.
It’s a short and pleasant walk into Hawes with pubs and shops, over a surfaced footpath ( might be tricky with a pushchair as it’s a squeeze style).
The views of the dales all around are stunning.
We’d definitely come back

This is a good site for caravans and motorhomes - a quiet location, spacious layout, and easy access to Hawes and its facilities.
As a tent user, however, I felt the lack of a covered cooking area, and some sheltered seating would have been very welcome.

The campsite was immaculate and all facilities very clean.
We had no issues finding it and were not disappointed by everything on site.
The views were stunning and is very close to Hawes which is a picturesque market town.

We only stayed one night at Bainbridge Ings campsite but wished we had booked for more nights.
The campsite was in a beautiful setting and within a stones throw of Hawes which is a delightful village.
It has lots of independent shops, country pubs, hotels and a great creamery with a very up market visitors centre selling lots of lovely cheeses and other tasteful memorabilia.
We received a warm welcome when we arrived at the site and the pitch was a reasonable size for our motorhome with stunning scenery.
The toilets and showers were very clean and warm. The site was well kept and not overwhelmingly too big.
Would highly recommend to anyone in search of a quiet getaway but within walking distance of a village with lots to see and do.

This is definitely one of the best sites that we have visited and the reception staff are very helpful,
I was very impressed with the toilet/shower facilities and the views from our pitch were spectacular, plus it is only a short walk into the town where you can get really good food at the White heart Inn

Excellent site on the outskirts of Hawes, with hardstanding and services at each pitch.
Clean facilities, including showers, toilets and washing up. A couple more showers would be good, especially in high season.
Wi-fi is available across the site at no extra cost.
Overall costs are very competitive.
It is a short walk into Hawes via a paved route across a field used for sheep grazing.
There are plenty of shops, several pubs and restaurants in Hawes.
The local bus service is excellent and very handy for walkers or to simply to take a trip out.

This is a beautiful, peaceful park with very welcoming and friendly staff.
We checked in at the reception on arrival and were given a friendly welcome by Tina and Alan.
In earlier reviews I see that people have commented that some separate toilets would be useful. There are now some separate toilets in addition to the facilities in the shower blocks.
The facilities are clean and obviously well looked after. The grounds are beautifully kept, with well spaced pitches which have amazing views. I couldn’t see a bad pitch on the whole park.
Some pitches have a water tap and grey water drain. All motorhome and caravan pitches appeared to have access to EHU.
The park is dog friendly and it was nice to see that all dog owners must be picking up after their dogs as there was no mess. There was also no litter to be seen anywhere on this park.
The walk into Hawes takes about 15 minutes. Ask a member of staff where to go to find the footpath through the fields.
We have stayed here twice before in our motorhome and will definitely be back. Thank you to Alan & Tina and all the staff at Bainbridge Ings for a very pleasant stay on your lovely park.
