 Fantastic site lots of different areas hard standing as well as astro turf for tents. Shower facilities pot washing and dog showers all free, there is a family bathroom for a £1 per bath.
There is a laundry room at very good prices, a fully licensed shop and reception with fantastic staff who bend over backwards to make your stay a very pleasurable experience, there is an also an online ordering service for breakfasts to be collected or to eat in, and also evening menu.
Osmotherly a fairly reasonable walk from the site boasts 3 pubs 2 of which serve great food at great prices all with welcoming staff and friendly locals.
There are some good walks from the site ie to cod beck reservoir there is a cycle path and also great for walking dogs. In the site you can book a few activities, and playgrounds for kiddies one with a great little Zip Wire the kids loved this.
All in all it's a great place to visit well set out and well kept we loved it.
I also forgot to mention there are static caravans for hire and for sale and a YMCA and a couple of holiday houses.

Arrived to a warm welcome at reception, given a information sheet and told our pitch number and how to get there.
First time pitching on astro turf, which was definitely a big plus. The toilets and showers were spotlessly clean and lovely underfloor heating in the showers.
The only thing to take in to consideration is this is a family site and if you are a couple on your own as we are, then it might not be as quiet as hoped, we had children running round shouting till well after 10. 30, but children will be children, its up to the parents to sort this, its not a fault of the site.
All in all a nice few days away

A very clean well laid out site with excellent shower and toilet blocks --
The staff were all very helpful and pleasant and checking in was one of the easiest I've encountered.
The shop looked all new and had the things you need to get by with wine and beer amongst the milk and eggs.
We were a bit unlucky during our stay as the Mill Kitchen was closed so we couldn't try the fare on offer there and to cap it off in the village the tea rooms and one of the pubs were closed so we ended up in the Golden Lion which is mighty fine, just remember that the 1/2 mile walk into the village requires an Everest like uphill walk back [ that's what it seemed like after the pub lunch ! ]

Lovely well set out site, scenic with a stream running through.
We'll stocked shop and cafe able to use on site. Lots of little bunny's running around, chilled out area.
Great local walks, lovely village with cafe and 3 dog friendly pubs.
We had a very relaxing 3 days and will definitely be returning.

Beautiful clean site, showers and toilets were immaculate and lovely hot shower.
Plenty to keep the little ones entertained in the parks and exploring the woods and stream, lovely to see children playing as they should be.
Very friendly people, nice walks into the village or to the reservoir.
Definitely be returning again.

We recently acquired a little Eriba caravan and thought Cote Ghyll would be perfect to try it out and boy it did not disappoint!
The staff were very friendly, a beautifully kept site, toilets and showers very clean.
A lovely walk into Osmotherley for a pint at The Golden Lion and the fish n chip shop was amazing when you order Large fish n chips it is just that (be warned)!
There are plenty of walks straight from the camp site Cod Beck Reservoir, Cleveland Way, our border collie Ben loved his stay just as much as we did.
I didn’t have cause to use the shop on site but from what I could see it was very well stocked.
We will definitely be returning soon lovely and peaceful site.

Wow what can I say first time we stayed here beautiful place staff were excellent.
Facilities and amenities were fantastic. Lovely and clean as well as well maintained stayed at C10 which was right in the middle of main park and between the toilet and shower blocks.
Went to osmotherly village for fish and chips and a walked round the reservoir too.
Absolutely brilliant site and were definitely going there again without a doubt.

I first visited this site over 10 years ago and it's clear to see the improvement and investment in what was a great site then.
The facilities were spotless despite the site being fairly busy and the staff were really welcoming and friendly.
We visited midweek in term time and though busy, the site was quiet and peaceful. The walks and surrounding countryside are beautiful and perfectly suited us and our four legged companion.
We particularly enjoyed a day out in nearby Helmsley.
Overall a great site with good facilities and friendly staff.
We'd be pleased to visit again, but I'll probably not leave it 10 years this time!

One of the best sites we have stayed on,
Very clean and well thought out.
Lovely location.
