Lovely little site, owners are a young couple who are very friendly and willing to please, we asked to change our tent pitch because they had had a lot of rain and some pitches were a bit boggy, but no problem, also we required a extension hook-up, a deposit of £25 but again no problem.
There are two shower blocks one old one new both kept very very clean even in bad conditions, free showers and free hot water for dish washing, dryers available and 20p hairdryers in toilet block, ladies toilets even had fresh flowers in vases.
Basic shop on site. Small childrens climbing frame/slide with wood shavings below. Approx 10 mins walk to small village of Osmotherley with few shops and 3 pubs,
1, traditional serving bar meals and more suited to campers.
2, posh serving meals and more winy.
3, very very posh, bookings only.
All in all we enjoyed our stay, and the bird and owl song at this site was great, will return again.

We stayed here this weekend and found the campsite to be the friendliest and cleanest that we have stayed in for some time.
Excellent positioning and within walking distance to the amenities and pubs of Osmotherley which is a beautiful North Yorkshire village.
I would recommend this site to anyone with or without children or dogs, "walkers" or "relaxers", whether in tents, caravans or even looking for a holiday home.
We will definately return.

very relaxed small site. Kids loved the little stream and small playground, and met lots of friends. When booking advise what size tent you have as most pitches are very small and ground is uneven. There are only a few pitches with level ground, try and reserve these pitches if like us you have a large tent. I had to ask for another pitch as ground was on a slope with manhole in the way. Reception sold a few essential's. Weather was excellent and they did a roaring trade in 10p icepops.
We will definately be going to this campsite again.

visited this site for 2 nights last weekend, it was full up but we were put on the overflow field which was lovely and peaceful, toilet block was spotlessly clean, showers were hot and free and there was a good size area for washing pots. Altogether a lovely site with a really nice couple running it. Will definitely be going back.

This is a Lovely little site, taking caravans and tents, costing £11 (tent) children under 10 free, toilets and showers were immaculate, small play area and river running through site, small shop with basics available, only 10 min walk from Osmotherly. Well worth a visit if you want a nice quiet and relaxing time. We will be making another visit soon.
