Lovely friendly site.
Been many times and already booked for next year.
Showers hot and very clean.
Close to the beach too !
There is no club house but that suited us.

Fantastic site, clean, friendly, toilets etc highly recommended. This was our first time on this site, would definitely use it again and again.
Close to the beach with lovely walks to and around Cudmore Park. Etc, with two good eateries close by, highly recommended with shops in West Mersea for all your needs.
It's a beautiful island, come and try the famous Mersea Oysters

An excellent site, well run and maintained and, having three large hairy dogs we especially liked the dog friendly facilities - lots of walks and a dog shower!
Well placed for beach walks, apart from the wet and windy weather we had a lovely break.
We will be back.

A great time to stay - with fantastic weather to enhance our stay. We love the peace and quiet that comes with the end of season.
If you love nature, wildlife, rambles in the country, combined with walks along the beach.
At the same time only a few minutes away from the town, the zoo etc etc.
There is so much to do or you can just watch the world go by.
And the site, excellent - facilities kept immaculately.
We thoroughly recommend it.

As always Fen farm excels in the ability to make your holiday special no matter what the weather brings.
Facilties and areas sparkling clean and the wardens are always on duty to give a helping hand wherever needed. High winds and stormy weather didn’t mar our break.
The only thing that we were amazed at was a seasonal tourer telling us off when we used the water tap near her caravan she said it was her own private one ?
It was the nearest tap to our pitch! If anyone can shed any light on this as we were under the impression the water was included on the site fees not privately paid?
On our next visit we would like to know where the public taps are so as not to upset the regulars.
We paid £76 for 4 nights which was great value for money. 2 park areas for kids, beach with entertaining kite surfing and fab seafood 10 mins away.
What more could you want for a family break. Have already booked multiple dates for 2022.

Such a fantastic site that I found by chance during the fuel crisis. Super helpful reception and warden who supported me to come here as I had run out of fuel taking my disabled daughter to uni in colchester.
When I arrived I was amazed how close to the beach this site is and how accessible(a couple of minutes walk). Lovely clean and warm toilets and showers.
Flat camping ground with no horrible "lined up" pitches. Excellent washing up and laundry facilities but with that simple camping feel.
Cant recommend them highly enough. Ive only rated location as 9/10 as this might be a little "remote" for some people? there are very few amenities nearby which is normally ideal for me but having no fuel and staying a week meant I was unable to get anywhere except on foot.
There is a small campshop on the site next door for basics which is enough, and local pub and cafe which again were enough for me. If you needed more you'd need to drive to west mersea or the mainland.
