 Camping at Fen Farm on Mersea Island would highly recommend.
Really friendly warden on site.
All amenities that you would need toilets, showers, outside shower, freezer for ice blocks, washing machines, children's play park, Elsan point, dog friendly pub (dog and pheasant) close by,
Beach in walking distance, very clean, dog friendly and apart from occasional traffic if near access road peaceful.
Very clean toilets and showers cleaned 4x daily.
Will be back.

An amazing site! The wardens were so so helpful.
The toilets and shower block were by far the cleanest we have seen!
It was nice and quiet, easy walk to the beach and lovely walks with out dog.
The dog and pheasant pub was also amazing! Lovely people and the food was to die for.
We will definitely be returning

Surprisingly unbusy.
Very well maintained, eg v short grass and super clean facilities.
Helpful and friendly wardens.
Excellent location for coastal walks, birdwatching etc.

Great campsite nice sized pitches, lots of space between pitches,
Toilets and showers very clean and are cleaned regularly during the day,
A ten minute walk to the beach and lots of local walks.

As always just wonderful - peaceful, friendly and always so helpful.
We go a few times a year and would go much more often if time allowed!
The location too is just perfect, far enough out of the way but near enough to shops and pubs even just by bike

Amazing weekend again at fen farm been 3 times now and can't fault the cleanliness at all and very friendly staff
Can't wait to book another could be this year if available but if not definitely will be booking for next year and hopefully for a week as the weekend just goes to fast

Excellent campsite and we will definitely stay again. Facilities were spotless, showers were hot.
Large field for dog exercising and decent pub just across the road.
Right next to dog friendly beach and country/nature park.
15 min drive to West Mersea for further shops, bars and restaurants.
Very peaceful with lovely surroundings and staff very friendly and helpful,
Will definitely be booking again.

Loved the site, the facilities were spotless and staff very friendly.

Managed to get an extra night's stay by calling in advance. The weather was beautiful and the site was not too busy.
The staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are exceptionally clean. There is a park for children but nothing else except the beach.
If you want to do nothing but relax, read and walk fen farm is a must. If you want nightlife shopping and pubs then it's not for you.

The site was lovely and quiet with level flat pitches. There was plenty of space and the facilities were spotless.
There is a very relaxing walk down to the sea with a lovely country park next door.
The foot ferry to Brightlingsea from the end of the country park was a lovely way to cross the river and spend a few hours in Brightlingsea.
If you are looking for a peaceful few days away I would recommend this site.
