We stayed here for 1 night as a little getaway the 2nd weekend of March and had a lovely time.

We didn't book or anything and just turned up, the welcome was warm and efficient. The site was a little wet on the grassed areas but most if not all of the pitches are hardstanding anyway. It was just getting to some pitches in motorhomes across the wet grass could be a problem.

The site was well looked after and in good condition. I had a nosey around the showerblock etc and the laundry, all was clean and tidy. The washing up sinks are undercover on the side of the block and had new bowls and drainers ready for this season.

There was a freezer for iceblocks as well for in the summer - looks to be free.

The showers are 50p each and the gents had about 3 of them I think.

The water tap for filling the MH was on the far side of the block. This was a little bit of hassle as I blocked up this area filling the tank up so some pitches were not accesable and the visitors car park.

The pitch itself was fine, a bit sloping but the standard leveling blocks took care of it.

The location of the site is excellent, only a short walk down a footpath then across a field and you are at the main place a motorhome would have to park anyway and just at the top of another short path to the beach. We didn't need to move the MH again until home time.

There is a ball games field just passed the tent areas and a playpark with a slide, swing, roundabout and climbing frame.

At £10.50 for hardstanding with EHU this was excellent value (early season though).

I would stay here again if going to Filey.

We booked this site last minute for the Bank Holiday weekend and risked a non-electric hook-up pitch as that was all that was left. So we didn't have great expectations, particularly as they had availability still and the price seemed good for a peak time.

Knowing the area quite well (but not from a campsite point of view) first impression was amazement that it was so close to at the best bits lovely Filey has to offer.

5 mins drive from beach, shops etc. We then drove onto a 'perfectly groomed' site after a friendly introduction when we were given our instructions and a pitch number. 'It's the back field with the cows for us' we thought but no a lovely, decent sized, hard standing (I think that's what the experts call them) pitch awaited in the middle field with ample space between us and fellows campers and a generous supply of playmates for our 3 and 6 year olds. We couldn't believe our luck!

The toilet facilities were better than the other sites we had been to (only our 3rd camping trip) and yes, there was 'the towel' that earlier reviews mentioned but as others have said, you take your own or have a shake.

There were numerous toilets and two showers (50p)and a curtained area handy for stripping off a little one if a shower takes them away from their new found friends for too long. There was also a free electric point for hairdryer etc and always squirty soap during our stay (not a dreaded bar).

Best of all there was music from a local radio station piped into the toilet block which was a nice little touch, particularly later in the evening when the relaxing music was on!

Wash up facilities plentiful and free use of freezer in the laundrette for ice packs a bonus. Basic play area by the side of the toilet block, ideal for older kids.

The only downside was the great British weather and the very strong winds that really did make us fear for the life of our new 8 man tent! But what a lovely place to experience the wilds of the great outdoors (3 year old saw her first rainbow!) Get yourselves there!

Excellent site owners just couldn't do enough to help. Booked last min and no problems getting in. Our 3 night stay was great easy walk in to Filey with pushchair.

Showers and toilets kept clean and tidy with radio playing nice touch! showered at different times and always loads of hot water, me and my daughter were always out before 50p ran out. Needed a extension for the hook up and this was lent at no extra cost.

Play area for the children with football field as well with no ball games around tents. No noise after 11 there was no problems with this as owners were always around the site (went quite about 9 most nights)

Great site, great owners, very relaxing time.

Just returned from a 1 night camping practice as we've never camped before. Centenary Way was a recommendation, and we loved our first experience.

The toilet / washing block was spotless, nice friendly site. We had a quiet pitch at the top of the site which suited us a treat being our first time camping.

In the evening we had a lovely walk down to the beach just the right distance away from the campsite. During the night we experienced high winds but this wasn't a problem just added to the excitement.

We will be returning at some point in the future and would recommend the site as couple / family friendly.

Visited this site for a short stay over the weekend.

Followed the sat nav directions using the post code but it took you to the wrong site so beware if you are using this means of navigation to find the site. Once you get on the right direction look out for the Muston Grange caravan and camping site sign, Centenery Way camp site is up the same lane. Once on the lane its straight up until you reach the end.

We were advised to go to the wardens office on arrival, we were met by a very pleasent lady who told us where our pitch was and gave us a leaflet with site regulations on.

We arrived fairly late on the Friday evening so the site was already very full. It had been raining very heavily but our pitch was very well drained. All the tent pitches are covered with fine gravel so not exactly hard standing which made putting our pegs in very easy.

There is a good space between pitches and you can park your car next to your tent. The site is surrounded by tree's and hedgerow so it's protected from the wind.

We found the noise from other campers after the 11pm no noise wasn't adhered too, some campers were still noisy well after mid-night, slamming doors and setting of car alarms and generally causing a racket, perhaps the warden could make more of an efford to patrol the site at least once near the cut off at 11pm to make sure the noisy one's are being told to keep it quiet.

The toilet block was separated into male and female, kept clean and tidy and plenty of room to do what you need to do. 50p per shower.

At the side of the toilet block was the washing facilities, again plenty to go at and free hot water.

At the hut where you book in there was a small shop for the basics.

For the children there is a large play area with swings and a slide and plenty of room to kick a ball about, please be aware cars are allowed to drive down the side of the play area so it could be dangerous for really small children playing on their own, perhaps this could be resolved by putting a fence up where the cars drive down.

The site is about 10 minutes from Filey walking. There is a lovely walk from the site past the Filey golf course and down to the beach. Filey golf course is about 2 minutes from the site.

The site is very well maintained and offers a great base for visiting Filey and the surrounding area, we will definitely visit again but will avoid the weekend due to the noise on a night.

Had a lovely stay again at Centenery Way, (12 nights). The last couple being rather loud but that was down to a few individuals disrespecting the no noise after 11pm rule. We spoke to Louise about it & she was very apologetic & said she would have a word. Dont let this put you off its a lovely family site, close to the beach. Maybe a little basic for some but suits us. I even stayed on my own for 4 nights with the kids & was fine. Once again had lovely carvery meals at the Railway Tavern very good value for £4.95

What a lovely campsite. Set in lovely open countryside yet 5 - 10 minutes walk into Filey. If you like to leave the car once you are on holiday this is the site for you, everything you need in Filey. Small supermarket, butchers, bakers, pubs etc. Beach is fantastic, you can walk for miles, just be aware of tide times!

There are only 2 showers but I never had to wait, if I had one suggestion it would be that showers are 50p and you cannot turn them off, it seemed to go on for ages and trying to get dry while it is still running was a bit tricky not much room to move, it just seemed a waste of water and energy! However, this would definitely not put me off going again.

A lovely seaside town campsite and we will definitely be returning again

Lovely peaceful site, friendly owners that helped us with a first time user caravanning crisis or two and helped prevent a divorce.

Facilities are brilliant, clean and everything I feel you need from a site.

No noise on the site on the night-time, everyone seemed to respect the 11pm quiet time- apart from our one year old son, who decided to get up for a feed.

Walk to filey perhaps a little far for small legs, our children are aged 1 and 6 years, but no problem for adults.

Be careful when looking for the site if it's your first visit as the sign on one side of the entrance advertises another site sharing the same location (we drove straight past as the sign for centenary is a small sign) plus the postcode for the site takes you into an estate up the road. Not good with a caravan.

It’s the first time for us and will not be the last, this site is perfectly maintained! Beautiful site with thoughtfully laid out, spacious pitches

A lot of people who have stayed here have a problem with the toilet block?

Saying that there’s no soap toilet paper two showers (which cost 50p) hand dryers,

Well there was toilet paper very day we were there, and soap and towels take your own?

The only criticisms we had was that the toilet block could do with a little updating more showers and they do-not have fully serviced pitches.

We stayed 8 nights in our tent with no electric, however there are plenty of electric hookups. The hard standing pitches are a good idea but a little rough on the ground sheets. It was our first visit here and we will definitely be coming back. The site is in an ideal spot for the beach, shops and surrounding areas. We were shocked at just how close to the beach it is as from the entrance it is very decieving.

The toilet facilities are kept clean, however an extra toilet block would greatly improve the site as it was extremely busy. Don't let this put you off going. The park is basic but adequate with a large area to play ball games. It is also very dog friendly with no extra cost. It did get a little rowdy at times but after having spoken to the groups in question it did settle down the following nights. The no noise rule after 11 pm did help as we like to get kids settled for about 10 pm. On the whole a great little site, just right for lazy days on the beach or a nice walk into town(saving on parking fees).

Great carvery for £3.95 at the railway tavern in hunmanby 5min drive away.
