I have visited this campsite many times with my daughter and we both enjoy it very much there and look forward to returning in the future. We have had no problems and our quality of sleep is very good. Staff members are very polite. The toilets and the showers are very clean. It does cost 50p for the showers but its definitely worth it. It is family friendly but also suits couples. The site is just a short walk from the beach and the town of filey which is a lovely place. This campsite is brilliant

What a lovely smart well set out site. We booked for 2 nights (unfortunately had to come home after one as daughter wasn't very well). We were greeted at reception by very friendly staff who were helpful directing us to our pitch. Really liked the smart layout of the camping field.
The pitches are all flat and hardstanding, which I wasn't sure how this would work, but it was fine. Used my ground sheet which helped. The footpath from the site down to the cliff top and beach is lovely. The site is very near to Filey so any needed is not far away. Really thinks its a lovely place to go especially for the money.
Only small negative was when we arrived, around 1pm, the toilets were all without toilet roll and in need of a mop on the floor about half hour later when I revisited with my daughter they were cleaned and stocked up with toilet roll.
So much to do around the area, which is outstandingly beautiful. Will definitely return back to this site as really enjoyed it, just a shame we had to leave earlier than planned.

Had a two night stay and was made welcome, the site was clean and tidy and at £12 per night we was impressed, did not use the toilets or shower as we had our own but key access was given when we checked in. A quite and friendly site, hard stand was level enough and hook ups are easy. Sluce was easy to get at and clean. There is a small play area if you have young ones and there is fish and chips on site twice a week. The reception/shop has a few supplies with all the daily news papers.
We will have no hesitation in returning to this site.

Just returned from a week during the Jubilee period. The approach is by a narrow lane which has for the most of it enough passing room not to cause a problem.
On entry to the site you are asked to report and book in at reception. Met by friendly owner who was helpful and explained everything I needed to know, including a few basic rules, I. E. No noise after 11pm, etc. We were shown our pitch and left to set up.
We had a hard standing pitch which covered both the van and awning. My initial concerns of having to peg through hard standing soon passed as the top layer was thinner where the awning went. The pitches are well sized and well spaced. Walking around the site revealed a well kept place with tidy grass, borders and no litter.
The site is mainly level but we did have to use a ramp under one side just to bring back to completely level. Liveable without it, but I prefer to be as level as possible!
The main facilities consist of men's/women's separate rooms each containing two showers and 3 toilets (at least the men's did, the wife couldn't remember if it was 3 or 4). Showers are 50p for about five minutes which for me was just about enough time. To one side of the building is a covered pot washing area, to the other was a waste, chemi toilet disposal and bins.
The site is split roughly into two halves where the toilet block is. One side caravans, the other for tents. To the side of the tent areas was a good sized grass play area and park for the kids.
The site is 15 minutes stroll to either the beach or the town centre where you can find all the expected shops, cafes, restaurants, etc, including a Tescos.
Overall the site is well kept with adequate facilities which I believe is reflected in the price. I would have preferred bigger showers that lasted longer and more of them. Although I didn't have to wait, I could see there being delays at peak times. Would we return? Planning next years trip here already.

This was only our second time camping and we chose to return to this campsite again, this time with a group of equally inexperienced friends and our children. I cannot recommend this park enough the facilities are excellent.
It's a family run park and it shows. Everything was well maintained we were given a spot at the back of the park which was away from the main groups which was great cause we didn't feel like we had to keep quiet as much.
The pitch also overlooked the children's play area which meant we could keep an eye on the kids. This friendly site would be suited to both novice and experienced campers.
On an end note all our party agreed that they would come back to the site again which says a lot.

A quality campsite with good facilities overall.
Some caveats: This is a large site, much larger than others that we have stayed at in the past. We found that the sheer number of pitches available means the site can get very busy at peak periods. This was a factor towards the end of our own stay and we found this a little off-putting.
There were only two showers each in the mens and womens toilets, which is not really sufficient in our opinion for a site of this size - especially since one of the ladies showers was out of order during our stay (charging unit was clogged up with too many fifty pence pieces!)
At the owners' request we pitched our tent on the hard standing area on our pitch. We found this to be rather uncomfortable, and would probably not stop at a campsite with a similar arrangement in the future.
We would probably stay at a smaller site next time we camp, but this is mostly a personal preference issue. This site is perfectly adequate for a couple or young family looking for a good-value break.

This site has to be one of our favourites. We have been visiting for about 5 years and are never disappointed. The facilities are good and the units are well spaced. We don't have children so the playpark doesn't interest us but it's the location we like. A gentle stroll down a footpath, no roads to cross, saying hello to the donkeys in the fields on the way past & 10 minutes later you are either at Glen Gardens with it's kiddies amusements and cafe or down the ravine to the beach. It's not a commercial site, more suited to couples & families with young children. Can't wait to go back.

This site is spotless and clean. Toilets and showers are the same spotless. Showers cost 50p but you get your moneys worth, plenty of hot water.
Pitches are a good size. All together a very nice site and inexpensive for peace and quiet. Only 10-15 walk in to Filey.
There is a little shop on site but for more choice there is a Tescos in Filey.
Nice kids play area on site. Very quiet no road noise,
Very easy to find, 1st right hand turn off of the roundabout and just follow the lane as far as it goes down to the site.

We stayed here for 3 days and had a great time - the campsite is very clean and friendly - hard standing pitches with plenty of room for your tent, doesn't feel cramped at all - separate shower and toilet blocks/ laundry room - absolutely loved our stay here. 50p per shower, although the shower is on a timer, there's plenty of time to do what you need to do.
Wash up sinks area with bowls/drainers/hot water - toilets and showers open all through the night. (code operated doors)
We loved our experience of this campsite and would highly recommend to anyone,
Very clean, very friendly, very professional !

Stayed just one night - three of us in a large tent. At £12 I thought it was remarkably cheap for the quality of site. We were met by our friendly host who assigned us a pitch. I was surprised to find the tent pitches were on hard standing (gravel). Never come across this before, although if I'd read the previous review.
There is a small field for small tents at the back of the site and when I asked the owner kindly allowed us to pitch there, although at busy times they would not have the flexibility to do so. I'd recommend you use a footprint if you plan to go to this site with a large tent. Other than that I can't fault it.
Toilet/shower facilities are not new but very clean, although there is a notice saying they only restock the toilet rolls once a day and at busy times be prepared to supply your own.
Showers are 50p which I never understand. Make them free and just add enough onto the pitch prices to cover it.
Overall a good value site and I would certainly return.
