We have just returned from this site. It's perfectly located for Filey town centre and the beach. There is a good dog walk near the entrance leading to the beach and local golf course.
The pitches are decent and all hard standing but there is some confusion as to where your pitch starts and ends due to no specific boundaries. There is electric hookup but nothing else.
After getting hooked up we discovered there is only 1 water point for the whole site which is centrally placed by the toilet block. There are several bins for rubbish but no recycling at all.
The play park is big giving plenty of space for the kids. Also at the
Side of this was an enclosed dog walk. There are signs stipulating dogs must be on leads but this wasn't policed very well at all as too many people thinking they're dog is an angel and letting them roam free.
The surroundings are really well maintained with plenty of greenery on show.
The toilet and shower block was a massive let down and should be better for £26 a night. The showers are tacky with cheap fixings, no power and you have to PAY to use them???. There was no space to get dried comfortably in your cubicle either. The toilets were OK but did get blocked but after seeing comments about this in 2015 we thought things would have changed for the better by now.

This was our first visit to centenary way we have visited filey on many occasions so knew of this campsite soon as we arrived we were impressed with the site very well laid out and very clean and tidy upon arrival we paid our balance and this being our fist time in a caravan my husband was nervous about reversing the van the owner just jumped in our car pitched it for us! excellent customer service
Each pitch is hard standing with plenty of room for an awning and still room for our dogs to play and we could sit out have lunch ect
We had no problems with the toilets but the showers are very hot at times
The site is lovely and peaceful and the no noise after 11 is followed
10 min walk to the dog friendly part of the beach is perfect for us we loved it so much we booked again for sept before we left sure we will be going there for many years to come

We visited with 2 children and a dog. Fantastic Site, lovely clean facilities, lovely quiet campsite and within easy walking distance to Filey, there is a park, crazy golf, pitch and putt all 10 mins walk away with beach access and access down steps to filey seafront. Dog friendly with on site dog walk and Childrens Playground. Would definitely recommend 5 Star and will be returning again.

We have just returned from another lovely weekend at this lovely site. This is our third visit but certainly not our last. We booked for August bank holiday weekend before we drove off site. The site is ideally placed, and is a very pleasant walk into filey town centre or to the beach. The shower/ toilet block is always clean and I love the music playing, excellent radio station. The pot wash area is great, plenty of sinks and always kept clean. The pitches are set out lovely with electric points around the perimeter and tent pitches in the centre. The play area is set away from the pitches, so no balls hitting your unit. The site is very well kept, grass cut short and borders kept neat. Keep up the good work. We look forward to our next visit.

This was the second time we stayed here as it is close to the town which is access by a public footpath.
Nicely laid out site. Small play area for children. Good outdoor but covered washing up area and indoor laundry with a freezer for ice packs.
Our complaint about this site concerns the toilets and water system.
The ladies had two showers and four toilets. You pay 50p for a six minute shower which was a long time. The unfortunate thing is here the toilets did not seem to cope with a bank holiday weekend (although due to bad weather the site was far from full). Twice all the ladies toilets were blocked and usable (although they did come and unblock them once alerted to this). There was also a call not to waste water and not to use the hand dryers late at night as they were loud but they had music playing in there until 11pm!
The gents showers were also rather troublesome event to some one as unfussy as my husband. They had two showers one of which was little more than a trickle (but you still had to pay 50p) the other had water so scalding and unregulated it burnt and you would certainly not put a child in there.
This therefore would not be a good choice for families of those without facilities in their caravan.
Hopefully they will put the care and attention in to this as they have into other aspects of the site

This site is close to Filey and easily accessible by bike foot or car. First impressions were good clearly laid out site, toilets and showers clean but shower was cool to cold at times, ( no temperature dial), only two showers and I was the only one in at the time. We showered in the van after this. Toilets were clean but had had new tiled flooring placed over the old one, which made the toilets very low down, my parents needs a hoist to get them up again😊
Pitches were tight with awning out. Made worse by small driving area to get on each pitch with grass either side our wheels were wider than the entrance stones so we had to drive with one wheel on the wet grass to access the pitch! This review sounds negative and it isn't meant to be these are just points that could make this site better. We would go back but they may not have us as we couldn't get off the pitch in one move due to tight space and size of van so ended up on some grass which didn't go down too well!
Electric tripped out a few times but changing plug in point sorted this.
There is a family garden tea room which friends swear buy the bacon sandwiches we didn't try this. There are washing up area which was clean and tidy. This site is ideal for a weekend away but wouldn't want to stay longer.

Lovely site whose owner obviously takes great pride in keeping it neat and tidy. Spacious pitches and helpful friendly owner, only downside is the awful showers which are 50p but the water trickles out of a pipe in the wall with a rubbish shower head on and was Luke warm. I wouldn't let it put me off going again though as I know to use shower in my caravan in future. Great location within easy walking distance of lovely Filey beach and town centre.

Had a great time on site, nice clean showers and toilets. Our daughter (6) loved the play area. About a 10 minute walk to Filey would recommend going via the park if you don't like steps. Tesco is a 2 minute drive away. Basic shop on site for the essentials.
Only down side was we had to leave a day early due to a bereavement in the family. Will be back next year

Another fantastic stay at this site. Great pitches, so child and dog friendly. Martin and Louise make you so welcome. Lots of people here we've seen here before, children make friends so easily. Great access to this coast. Never want to leave this site. Will try sneak in a couple of weekends. The fairy garden is lovely too although ran out of time to visit this time :-(. As for the showers myself and my daughter have long hair and although not power showers there's plenty of time for us to both wash our hair and my son then washes himself/plays after. Can't wait to return xx
