An excellent and very friendly site, we arrived early and they helped in any way they could. The toilet facilities are checked regularly, and the piped music made a nice change! Quite a busy site, but understandably so as it is lovely. About a 10 minute walk along a footpath to the beach, which has everything you would want at hand. Children's play area in the field next door, plenty of room for them to charge about! We spent two glorious days there, and will be going back too.

Me and my fiancé had a lovely time at this campsite, which was in easy walking distance of Filey. This was especially convenient for us, as we don't have a car and travelled to Yorkshire by train. The site itself was clean, well-kept and spacious. The facilities were excellent, including pleasant toilet / shower areas, a row of sinks for washing-up, a water point and a laundry room, including a freezer.
The walk to / from Filey is short and picturesque. Just remember to take torches with you if you plan on venturing out in the dark, as most of the trail is unlit! There is a mini-golf course on the way into Filey, which we highly recommend as a cheap and very enjoyable activity! All in all, this is an excellent campsite, which we would definitely visit again in the near future. RECOMMENDED! :o)

We have just spent 4 wonderful and peaceful nights at this camp site. The tent area was well spaced out and the pitch we had was based on a gravel bed. There were lots of children there but the play area was slightly away from tenting area so we couldn't hear any noise from children playing. It was a 10/15 min walk to the beach, you went over the cliff top and down a ravine, a pleasant walk. I do think the toilet block wants updating, they were cleaned every day between 1 and 2, so don't try and use them then! If you went to the loo after morning showers the chances were there would be no loo paper, so remember to take your own. I thought paper was fine. Showers 50p, ok if a bit small area to get dried and dressed in. Very helpful staff. Filey itself is lovely, it is not as quiet as it used to be, obviously more people have discovered want a beautiful little seaside place this is, well worth a visit We paid £52 for a tent and electric hook up, have paid a lot more than this for poorer sites. Would definitely go back, wonderful.

Just got back from this great looking site in a fantastic location within easy walking distance from the beach. There is room for over 70 units and it was fully booked which left the toilet block inadequate. 4 showers and toilet rolls only replaced once a day, and, I'm sorry lads, but you got the crispy paper toilet rolls. Also we were every night kept up till the early hours by several rowdy neighbours. We are disappointed to have been so put off.

This site was brilliant, owners were really friendly and welcoming to me and my little boy who's 2! We pitched our tent and everything was fine. The wash rooms are nice and clean, although like mentioned taking a dump became a bit of a problem with the shiny loo roll, although I ended up using my sons baby wipes after my first visit. Also I'm not sure about the female facilities but in the mens there were no nappy changing facilities which would have been good, I had to put my towel down and change him on the floor, not a very pleasant experience for me or him, let alone the other guests who had to see my sons poopy bum when they walked in!
However, overall we had a great weekend and would deff go back, although a nappy changing unit would be a great addition for us single dads going there (not sure if this is a common occurance on campsites to have nappy changing or not?? let me know guys!)

Lovely clean site. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hot showers at 50p for a very decent amount of time. Toilets and showers always seemed very clean. Site, nice and flat and rock free! All in all a very pleasant two days spent here. Also Filey is really nice! Much nicer than other east coast towns.

Ideal for campers who want easy access to town. The walk (or cycle) in is lovely and Filey itself is very picturesque. Lots of room on the site. Clean toilets, although toilet paper reminded me of greaseproof paper. 50p for the showers was a bit of a downside. Good pot washing facilities were a bonus and its the first on site recycling scheme I've come across. Nice base for visiting Filey.

Excellent site. Nice clean toilets and showers. One of the most peaceful sites we have ever visited. Children played all day in the dedicated play area. Only down side is that you could not see them from your tent large trees surround the area. Will definitely be returning. May school half term only cost £10.50 per night 2 adults and 3 children

This site was a pleasure to stay at. Large level pitches, friendly staff. The toilet block was well maintained and clean. Children's play area with large field for ball games etc. 10 minute walk to the beach (cliff top), 15 minutes to Filey. Will definitely go again.

We have been to this caravan site quite al ot and find it a very nice site one of the best ones we have found in a long time. The space that you get is more than enough with loads of privacy. The owners of the site are very nice and very helpful. The toilets are ok yes you do need to take your own toilet roll (but there again if people stopped pinching it) it is rather on the rough side, the showers are ok there are quite tricky when it comes down to showering the kids but we manage it. The play area for the kids is great ok theres not a great deal for them but is a big field with a few items to play on but they make there own entertainment and it very secure.
I would recommend this site to anybody that has children who are looking for a fairly inexpensive but very rewarding holiday, I know that my family and my sisters family will bw returning for many years to come.
