The site was easy to find and access. Pitches were of a good size and layout. Toilet facilities were basic but very clean. Would be nice if shower pressure and temperature were adjustable though. Site was very clean and well landscaped. Walking into Filey was no issue and easy. Our 3 night break was spoilt though by an inconsiderate couple opposite who allowed there border collie dog who lived in their awning, to bark unchecked often late at night and into the early hours. We will consider this site again when we visit the area but will look out for the border collie's caravan and car!

Stayed for 4 nights with children and dog. Hard standing pitches for tents so you need decent camp mats or air beds but they are well drained.
Playground is a bit tired but kept the kids entertained. No noise after 11 policy was adhered to.
Lacks lighting on main section, just a couple of small posts would have been useful as you need to walk between tents to get to the toilet block, so torch is needed.
Showers 50p for 6mins which is plenty but not very powerful and can't be adjusted for temp. Surprisingly didn't have to queue for them or toilets. Freezer for ice packs was useful.
Didn't visit fairy garden but it did look very nice. Would be useful to include charges on website rather than just a range.
Good location and easy to walk to town and beach. Would definitely go again.
At time of writing there is some building work ongoing adjacent to site starting at 7:30 am!

Good location - a 15 minute walk to beach etc.
Nice site - pitches with plenty of space around them. Children enjoyed the playground but equipment was quite old and the playground was well hidden. I was concerned about the old vehicles and tractors parked near the play area.
The shower block was a little disappointing - 4 toilets and 2 showers. The showers cost 50p for 6 minutes - plenty of time but the temperature was set on the showers and the power was poor. They were cleaned to a high standard between 1-2pm. (Not very nice by evening!) The sink area was always wet and there was no hairdryers.
Washing up area was good and clean. Plenty of sinks with bowls and drainers provided.
Fairy garden cafe looked cute but didn't use it or even see it open.
Rules of site - no noise after 11pm - this was adhered to.

We stayed at this site for a week in the school holidays, the position of the site is excellent it is very quiet and a great safe walk to the beach for the kids although if heavy rain the path can get muddy so take wellies.
We were sited around pitch numbers 26/27/28/29/30 these are hard standing and if I were to Go again would request the opposite side of the field as we had no afternoon/evening sun in these pitches only baking hot in the am.
The showers and toilets are closed for one hour after lunch time for cleaning and they are cleaned to a high standard. They are dated and the showers are certainly not power shower, they cost 50p which I didn't mind the site was very busy and I never had to queue for a shower for me or my children.
The play park is dated but loved by my children although watch out for the roundabout the kids have an array of bruises from it although they loved it.
The fairy garden we never went to other than for a takeaway bacon butty which was delicious.
Would I return, I'm not sure I loved the proximity to the beach but was disappointed with the showers and I am not one for returning to places and like to experience new places but I would recommend this site to friends.

This caravan park is a very friendly site which is situated within easy walking distance of the town centre. The site is lovely and clean and well organised.
The toilets are always clean and tidy.
The pitches are spacious with good access and the owner will pitch your van if required.
There is a lovely small café in the 'Fairy Garden' on site where you can purchase drinks and snacks.
We have every intention of visiting this site again as we like the warm welcome and area.

The site is well located just a short walk into town. A well kept site with great pitches. The only downside is no super pitches so plenty of walks for water and waste disposal. This is offset by the friendly owners. I tried to book for July but they were fully booked but I will return after the school holidays when it will no doubt be less busy

My family and I have just returned from a weeks stay at Centenary Way where we have stayed numerous times in the past. I would like to take the time to express how wonderful I think this little campsite is. The location is great, a 15 minute walk to the beach and town, and although we used our car there is a bus stop 5 minutes down the lane that can take you to Scarborough and Bridlington.
The site itself is beautifully maintained, the pitches are spacious and hard standing, there is a play area where our children played football and thought the roundabout was brilliant. There is also a dog walk on site which is useful although there are other walks close by as well.
I have noticed other reviewers have made some comments about the toilet block not being adequate. I would like to disagree, there are four toilets and two showers that are cleaned daily, and yes the showers are not power showers but they are adequate and 50p gives you plenty of time to get washed. I also noticed this season that the toilet block has had some refurbishment with new splash backs and tiling around the wash basin making them look very clean. Our stay was over the Easter holidays which meant the site was busy and some mornings you did have to queue for the showers but lucky for us and like most caravans we have our own shower so it wasn't a major issue.
Finally, I would love to mention the new addition The Fairy Garden! They sell yummy bacon sandwiches and homemade cakes and have the most unusual seating making you feel like you are actually are amongst the fairies!
We will certainly be returning and recommend this site to all of our friends. The owners should be proud of their efforts as they never seemed to stop working but always had time to say hello.

We stayed here in our tent for 2 nights over Easter 2014 and paid £18 per night - 2 adults and 1 dog for a non EHU pitch.
When we arrived the owner pointed us in the direction of our pitch and explained a few of the site rules (no logs on BBQ's, dogs to be kept on leads and no noise after 11pm etc) He then gave us a map of the local area and advised how to get to the beach etc. The reception is also a camp shop selling basic staples and sweets - we didn't use it so not sure about any pricing etc.
The location of the site is perfect - only a few minutes walk away from Filey sea front and all it's amenities.
The site itself was quiet, clean and well maintained and the toilet/shower block was heated and spotless on the occassions I went in, however, there are only 3 toilets and 3 showers in the ladies, ok when we were there but may have to queue during busy periods. Next to the showers there is a heated, covered pot washing area.
On the site there is also a small cafe, The Fairy Garden, selling sandwiches, buns, drinks etc -, which we did't use but did look very inviting.
The only niggle I have is that the site does have a 'clicky' feel. This is the first site we have stayed at where fellow campers ignore each other and don't speak or nod a hello when you walk past them.
That aside we will be returning to this site and would recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in the Filey area.

Site is tidy and pleasing to the eye, good for bus service and footpath to Filey. Agree with other reviews in that the toilet / shower block is dated and too small for the number of pitches and shower at 50p is tepid water at best so used caravan shower for rest of week. Pitches are well kept and grass well tended / mowed, too many rules posted everywhere you looked.

We have just returned from this lovely site. The pitches are a good size, we were on pitch 26 ideally located for toilet and shower block. There are only two showers unfortunately so we had to queue, not too bad but the site wasn't full. We booked a taxi into Filey on Saturday night because we were unsure about its close proximately into the town. Its only a ten minute walk into filey which was very pleasant, as we found out on Sunday. We would recommend this site to anyone and we hope to return soon.
