Very good site, well run. They think of everything I suspect that the owners were campers themselves as it's the little things like antibac dispensers by the grey waste area, dish drainers at the wash up, family shower rooms, loads of wall hooks in the showers etc.
Disadvantages: pitches quite close together, and showers were not hot enough anywhere except the family showers! Which is exactly where you want them a bit cooler! They were simply too hot for my four year old daughter. But the overall family shower area was tremendous!
Advantages: 10mins from Cromer where there is all the usual seaside attractions, supermarkets, etc. Plenty of beaches to chose from, pizza delivery onto the site if you get fed up of barbeques! Great park and a reasonably priced shop. Laundry £4/load
Really enjoyed this site and we would come here again.

Arrived and were greeted by friendly staff who checked us in quickly and efficiently
The pitch was marked out (which is not always the case so no arguing over space) and large. Easily got a 4 man tent and a car plus plenty of room to sit out and enjoy the site
Our pitch was away from the road although it was not to busy and overlooked the sea. The site offers a great view of the sunset (take your camera)
Although busy there was no queuing for toilets or facilities plus they were kept clean.
Well stocked shop plus 15 minute walk to east runton where the chips were very good
The beach is excellent but not easy to get to without climbing down a big dune (one for the kids) or a 20 minute walk
Lots to see in the area and worth a visit
In conclusion at £18 per night for a family of 4 was excellent value and will definitely go back

First time as a family in a caravan for our main holiday and we could not off picked a better place woodhill was superb the moment we turned up in reception to leaving. The staff were friendly, showers were spotless and warm, site was always quiet and everyone helpful and friendly, playground was again well maintained shop at reception very reasonable over all superb and we will definitely be going back
Fish and chip shop in village very good the first pub in village you come to walking from woodhill was very poor and would not recommend it
Nice walk along beach to cromer which the dog enjoyed
A nice peaceful place which is capped of with some outstanding sun sets over the sea

We had contacted the owners of the site with a view to booking a pitch on another site that they own, and that was to be for a quiet pitch with minimal facilities, but they told us that their site was full and that they were accommodating us on another of their sites, which turned out to be this site. It really was not what we wanted! Whilst the staff were friendly and the facilities were clean and plentiful, we were packed in very close to our neighbours in a very busy, regimented grid system of pitches. We were so close that we could hear every word our neighbours were saying. Such a shame as it spoilt our experience of Cromer.
We saw many brochures and publicity shots of the site, but none of these gave the true picture of just how closely the pitches were packed in. This really was holiday-camp camping in the style of a by-gone era.

Site generally very good in most aspects but not outstanding in any.
Biggest fault we found was with local area, all dogs banned from beaches from may to oct, 20 miles to nearest dog friendly sandy beach at wells, would not have booked had we known this.
Also fish & chips are a must for most while away & we were absolutely astounded at the lack of fish & chip bars in area, didn't find one open in cromer after 6pm & was disappointed with the one in the village close to site, tiny portions compared with what we can get at home.
Also 10am is very early to be vacating the pitch with awnings etc to take down but seems typical of a commercial site, 12 noon is far more civilised time to leave as we've found on most privately run sites also site shop very basic, essentials only really.
To summarise, site too commercial, beaches not dog friendly, cromer poor for typical sea side cuisine.
Enjoyed our stay but won't be returning.

Visited site in July & just wanted to clarify the point about the beaches being dog friendly in the area. Some have mentioned that they are, though there is nothing physically stopping you taking your dog on the beach I can assure you there are many signs warning of a £1000 fine for flouting this public audience & I would not wish people visiting the area to be caught out by inaccurate information posted here.

We have stayed at this site twice. The 1st time just for 2 nights around 3 years ago - the 2nd time for 2 nights which we extended to 4 and then for another 3. We intended to carry on around the coast, but liked the site so much we decided to make it our base and use the local buses which stopped right outside the gate. Very welcoming, kind and helpful personnel. If ever we want to visit Cromer again, we will certainly stay here.

An open site near the cliffs with many wildflowers which attracted quite a bit of bird life. Thought the showers modern and had no problem with the water temp. Went for a premier pitch so no problems with road noise and generally the site was very quiet at night. The coastal path towards Cromer has eroded so you have to walk along the beach however the path towards Sheringham remains intact. A very nice walk is to West Runton to the Village Inn which does food and five real ales. There is a bus stop at the site entrance to Cromer or Sheringham or afar as Norwich.

We arrived a bit later than planned, but the staff booked us in quickly and sent us around to our plot. 106 with a bit of a sea view (only in our case it was a view of mist and murk!)
The site is very clean with at least three shower blocks, only problem we found was the water in the showers was too hot!
Found the shop to be very good and our kids made use of the tennis net and play area. Or dog loved her run down to the beach, especially once we found some sunshine!
We walked along the cliff and down to the beach, via a very steep dune, and looped right round into West Runton where we found a great Cafe called Clementines, really good vegi options and if you call ahead will try to cater for any diet needs. My wife said it was the best vegi breakfast she had ever had!
Worth visiting Sherringham which is just down the road and also the priory Maze and garden Centre.
A very good stay which was value for money and we are planning to go again later this year.

Just spent half term week here and we stayed on a fully serviced pitch. Nice site, clean, good toilets and shower facilities. Did see some queueing for the family baths and shower rooms. Shop adequate but expensive ( 5mins walk to village shop). It looked quite cramped on the main fields without many pathways. WIFI free but very poor. Road noise was quite bad for those pitches that back onto the fence. Lovely walk/cycle along the cliff to the beach (15mins walk). Big play area for the kids and a big field for ball games. Not a lot for the kids (6&7) to do in Cromer or Sheringham in the evening. Wouldnt stay again but only as we would prefer an area with more to do.
