We stayed in a static caravan. It was exceptionally well equipped and was very comfortable. The caravan was also spotlessly clean.
Checking in on Friday night was easy as was checking out with friendly staff at both times.
The site was busy but it was quiet at night. The bus stops just outside Woodhill Park and we made use of this for a meal out in Sheringham (taxi back was £7).
We did a fantastic walk from the campsite, incorporating the glorious views from both Roman Camp and Incleborough Hill.
Woodhill Park is great place to stay and we will be going back.

Just returned from our second visit to Woodpile.
There is nothing I can say about this place that is bad.
When we arrived, our pitch was clean and ready, we were given a pack showing us where everything was, and a verbal tour to get us started. Whilst pitching, the warden came over and made sure we were OK and that we had everything we needed.
The next few days were spent walking the dogs around the dog field, along the beach and down in to Cromer.
Obviously forgetting something, the shop is well stocked of everything you need, daily papers, milk, bread and plenty of stuff you never thought of.
We will return as it has everything we want, from clean warm showers, somewhere to wash our pots up, space between each tents enough so that you don't feel crowded and lovely views just a few meters away from the site.
One of the best we have visited in 35yrs.

Excellent value for money. We stayed two nights and paid £35. 80 which included hook-up and free WiFi. The site is large and well kept and the staff are friendly and helpful. We used the shower block that looks like a long wooden hut but was very clean and user friendly with individual units combining toilet, shower and washbasin in each. There was also a family shower room which must be a boon with young children. East Runton is a ten minute walk down the hill and we enjoyed a lovely meal at Konstantia, the Greek restaurant. There are bus stops outside the campsite from which you could go to Cromer, Sheringham and even Norwich.

Just went for 4 night to test our new tent, had good reviews and not too far from us. What a lovely site, wardens and staff very friendly and helpful.
Site spotless and well looked after, dog walking field has paths mowed into a meadow, so lots of birds and bunnies! safe to let dogs off in the lower part but if you think they will chase rabbits be careful as edge of walk is on the cliff. But perfect for when you camp.
They also had a brilliant field for footie and tennis, and a very large play area with kiddies things.
New shower block which is excellent and as we were over the far end, the older shower block wasn't open, but the toilets were and they were always spotless.
There is a launderette too and other things which we didn't explore.
The beach is about a 15minute walk away across fields, dogs are not allowed on a very small area which is marked on a map, but otherwise you can let them off lead and you can also walk to Cromer.
Good recycling without the hassle, just put recycling loose in the bins and non recycling stuff in plastic bags.
We left just as the BH peops arrived and the site was going to be full, pitches good size we had a premium pitch and were not far from water etc.
It was mainly vans and motorhomes, there was only one other tent when we got there, but quite a few arrived on the Saturday we left.
Would definitely return we had a fabby few days.

This was our first ever family camping trip. We went with experienced campers and upon arrival it was easy to arrange adjacent plots. We had an EHU plot which was spacious, level and the grass was well kept. There is a small shop on site for essentials, children's play park set on the edge of a field for ball games and the beach is within walking distance. There is a pub a short walk away if you fancy a meal out or just for a drink. There is a family shower block which had some shower rooms that need updating while others have clearly been updated recently but all were clean and spacious. There is a very modern and bright toilet and shower block adjacent to the shop. The location is beautiful however the road does cause some noise at night but nothing too bothersome. Cromer is a few minutes away by car if you want to take the children crabbing on the pier. The cliff top location of the site does mean it can get very cold at night (we were there in April when the days were lovely but the nights were bitter cold) so take extra blankets and heaters (if using EHU). Staff were pleasant and helpful. Overall we had a very enjoyable 3 night stay and would not hesitate to book this site again in the future.

Very friendly welcome with a full explanation of the site facilities and layout
This site has a newly renovated main shower and toilet block which are the best that we have seen at a campsite. Very clean and modern.
The other two blocks are not as new but fully functional and also very clean.
Just a short walk from West Runton that has two pubs. Not too far along the beach to Cromer and a longer walk or short bus ride from Sheringham.
Hook up was reliable, the only downside was that the wifi did not work at all which is not unusual for a campsite
2 lovely nights spent at Woodhill, highly recommended and we would stay here again if back in this area

Spent three night on this great site, well run and very clean. Staff were very welcoming and efficient. There are plenty of toilets, water taps, showers etc. The shower block at reception is modern, warm and clean. We were near the BBQ block, these showers/toilets are dated but efficient. The dog walk is good but unfortunately you can't access the beach from the site anymore due to costal erosion but it is possible to walk along the cliff top to west Runton and access the beach there, this takes 10 to 15 minutes. Dogs are ok on beach until 1st of May as in most places.
We walked into East Runton and onto the beach there, the beach is very stoney most of the way, we walked along to Cromer and spent the afternoon there before walking back along footpath by the road. This is a nice walk and takes about 30 minutes.
Cromer is a very nice place to visit with lots of places to eat and interesting shops. We had lunch at The King Head in the beer garden. The food was good and we were able to take the dog in. The wine was very nice but my husband prefers proper ale as you get in Yorkshire!
All in all a great weekend. Would definitely revisit this site.
Thank you

Stayed there for just one night. On a pitch next to main road, quite busy through the day but quiet on a night (but might be different in summer). Shop was well stocked but the local village of East Runton was a 5 minute walk, which has a nice pub (Dozy Doormouse) a shop and a pub converted in to a Greek/Cyprus restaurant which was very good (if a little dear at £30 a head for a set menu). A 20(ish) minute walk in to Cromer for a nice seaside town with some interesting shops etc. Site was very quiet but only a third full when we stayed. Shower and toilet block looked brand new, under floor heating and very clean. Didn't look to have a huge amount for kids to keep busy with but no problem for us. Would go back again.

Just returned after a week at this site. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming, the reception also doubles as a shop that is stocked well, with all the basics, fresh meat for BBQ, also some basic camping equipment. We stayed on a standard serviced pitch with electric hook up, which was a very generous in size. Although this is quite a large site they have an 11pm quiet policy, which everyone seemed to adhere to, unfortunately we were situated right next to the road, which is quite noisy, invest in earplugs although didn't seem to affect hubby. The toilet and shower blocks were a little dated but were extremely clean, there is also 2 family bathrooms with baths, which is great if you have small children. The play area is well maintained. The beach, local pubs, chippy and shop are just are 5 minute walk away and the small town of Cromer is just 20 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again, but would ask to situated away from the road.

Have just returned from a second visit to Woodhill Park and loved it just as much as we did last year. Pleased to see that they have plans to refurbish the main shower block over the winter. We were close to the small shower block at the top right hand side of the park and the showers were really only a dribble, not good on a chilly morning!
We had some very windy weather over the week and you do feel quite exposed but putting in hedges would spoil the sea views so I can see why they have left it as it is. Its a lovely location and a lovely family friendly park. We will be back!
