Return visit to this lovely site. Great dog walk, spotlessly clean loos and showers loads of hot water (little too hot on sunburnt skin in the shower!).
Large pitches someone even had a double decker bus further up the field.
Some pitches very sloping and some road noise but not enough to spoil it for us.
Staff very friendly and helpful and quickly took the people who let their dog roam the park to task and made sure it didn't happen again.
Lovely barbeque area up near the second toilet block.
Statics looked nice and we may return one day to use one of those !

This site was lovely, the facilities were very clean and the pitches where quite spacious. The showers where spotless and warm (they were free of charge with the push button on the wall which turns off once you've soaped up so you have to push it again lol - this is how showers should be and makes for a great laugh on holiday).
We didnt get a sea view and were dissapointed slightly to find you can have your own bbq at the side of your pitch so long as the bbq is raised off the floor. This wasnt mentioned on the sites web page it said there was a bbq-ing area - which lead us to believe that you couldnt bbq near your caravan and had to use the bbq-ing area only. However this wouldnt put us off coming back to this site now we have the knowledge.
This site is a great base camp for visiting the surrounding places i.E Cromer, Sherringham, Great Yarmouth we would highly recommend that you pay a visit to The Ship Inn in Mundesley, its about 20mins drive thru Bacton - this pub as fantastic views out onto the bay and spectacular sunsets whilst you eat your evening meal. This Inn specialises in English, Indian and Nepalese Cuisine and is out of this world HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
We spent a rather wet and windy bank holiday at this site and would return again - keep up the hard work this is a lovely site.

We visited the site over the bank holiday weekend, and on arrival the site was very quiet but soon filled up. In fact on our arrival we drove straight past as the sign isn't very visable from the road when approaching from cromer, Which is aprox 1.5 miles away.
On arrival we were greated by very helpful staff and shown to our plot. The plot its self was fairly large in size but not clearly marked. We were also on the side of the site that is by the main road so was fairly loud through the day but seemed to die down later in the evening.
We also found the site exceptionally windy. (Argos is nearby in Cromer for an essential windbreak, and next to Argos is a large Morrisons).
The entertainment facilities on the site were great. Our children, aged 5 and 3, loved the crazy golf and the adventure play ground, although more facilities for smaller children would be nice.
The toilets were clean and fairly plentiful.
The showers on the other hand while very clean, were extremely lacking in numbers. Infact 4 male and 4 female to serve the entire site of over 300 pitches! Also there are no facilities for family showering, which would be usefull as they are a bit of a squeeze.
All in all a clean and friendly site. Which, if the provided more showers, would be fab!

A lovely site with very helpful people. We stayed with our 2 girls - 5 year old & 3 month old - & had a very peaceful & relaxing weekend. The facilities were excellent, very clean & quite adequate for our selves & two little ones. Although it is a large site, it didn't seem noisy or too busy. A definate recommendation, in fact we have booked for next year already!

This site is bigger than we have been used to, but it's good in that it's got plenty for the kids to do. On site there is an adventure playground, tennis, chess, draughts, crazy golf, and a huge playing area for football, kites or biking. Your close to a good coastal path which leads you 2 beaches both quite stoney, until the tide goes out then it's great. The pitch we were given (no. 295) for our 3 week stay backed onto the busy main road that runs along side the site, this provides great links to both Cromer & Sheringham but is very noisy to campers who's pitch backs on to it! The site is well kept but our stay was tarnished due to the fact the road was so noisy, we tried to move but due to a busy time we could only move for a week at a time and any one with a trailer tent knows that this is not a 5 minute job so we decided to stay put and live with the noise. This site is close to the sea and as a result when the wind blows straight up the field and as there are no barriers ie. Hedges or trees to block the wind it hits your pitch head on. Our 3 weeks turned into 2 1/2 weeks as the wind started to damage our tent even 1 car, 1 van with an extra strap or 2 over the top! to stop it, so we packed up and came home early. However we would stay at this site again as we now know the layout of the site and know the better pitches to have, which are in the other fields which have a little more protection from the wind and away from the road. So if booking to go onto this site ask were you going to be pitched!

The pitches were very close together, so making new friends wasn't a problem. I found the men's toilet block to be in a poor state of repair, with at least two seats on the floor for my 4 day break. As you come out of the toilet the wash basins, which were very small, were right in front of you. The toilets themselves were by the washing up facilities and were very smelly. The only thing that separates you when you are washing up from someone in the toilet block is a wall with a small window, which was always open. Quite revolting, and it left nothing to the imagination. The showers, 4 of, were no better, the water came out at a trickle, they weren't particularly clean and there was a constant queue to use them from 7 to 9am. There is a shop on site, which was well stocked. The staff were friendly and helpful. The play area was very good, the surrounding area was very good and there are a couple of good pubs nearby in East Runton. Apart from the very poor quality toilet/shower facilities I enjoyed my stay.

This is a well laid out site with separate fields for caravans and tents. Easy access from the main road, yet very peaceful and quiet and has excellent views. The reception is well stocked with local tourist information and the staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a well stocked shop at the rear of reception which also includes some caravan / camping spares. The three toilet blocks were very clean and well equipped with separate showers. There is a well equipped play area for children and a large field for playing football (including goal posts) which is well away from the camping units. A very nice dog exercise area and access to cliff top walks. The local shops are a five minute walk from the site and there is a car boot every Saturday. Cromer with its excellent shops is within walking distance just over a mile away. Sheringham is just over two miles away and the steam railway is well worth a visit. There is a bus stop outside the site entrance and is cheaper to use than the parking charges in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found it peaceful and relaxing and very competitive on price. We will definitely return to this site - it was well worth the drive.

First camping trip of the year and we were pleased we chose this site. It was only for a night but we found that because there really isn't much to do in Cromer it was plenty. The site was nicely maintained and the owners friendly. The toilets were clean but quite tight. The shower blocks were clean too. The site overlooks the sea which is a plus in my books.

Cromer is a lovely place to visit, but I don't think we will be visiting this campsite again. The pitches were very close together. The main road runs next to the campsite, so you have the sound of traffic as you are trying to get to sleep. We found the toilet block by the washing up facilities quite smelly. The only thing that separates you when you are washing up from someone in the toilet block is a wall and a small window. Quite revolting, and it leaves nothing to the imagination. The showers were no better. They weren't particularly clean, very old, and there is a constant queue to use them. There is a shop on site, which is pretty well stocked. The staff there are friendly and helpful. Very windy site. The play area was ok. We stayed 4 nights, and that was plenty.

Our first time camping and what a pleasant site to have chosen the toilets and showers were clean. The site staff were friendly and helpful We couldn't have had a better introduction to camping a clean dog friendly site with beautiful coastal walks right on top of the cliffs wonderful views. There is a main road running along side of the park and if looking for a down side that would be it when the wind is in the wrong direction you can hear the traffic but personally a too small a price to pay yes we will be back.
