We are new to camping and we chose this site for our first visit, we live in Norfolk and so had passed it on many occasions day tripping, actually before we went we called in and the receptionist was very helpful and allowed us to have a walk around to fully appreciate the site.
We booked online which was so simple, within 24 hours we had a confirmation and booking number, we had originally telephoned but the line was busy so we left a message, they did also call us back within 24 hours, but we had already booked online by then.
Checking in was quick and easy, we had a site in the non EHU field, we actually had a lovely pitch with sensational views right along the cliff edge, and the other way we would see into the Runton Hills, yes the pitch was a little on the small size, we have a 6 berth tent and we could easily fit the tent and car on, but more room for sitting out would have been nice, that being said we did have enough room to erect our windbreak, chairs etc.
My two little girls were positively wowed by the cleanliness of the toilets, which from an adult opinion were always clean, warm and well equipped, they even smelled nice! They also appeared to be regularly cleaned. The showers were also brilliant, clean and lovely and hot - although perhaps a bit too hot for my 7 year old who prefers cooler water, and you couldn't adjust the temperature, but from my opinion they were fantastic. There is also a family washroom area, you obtain a key from reception by leaving a returnable deposit, we did not actually use these but they were cleaning them when we walked past, we peaked in and it looked like there was a full size bath in there, which is brilliant for the younger child. Because you have the key you know no-one else will burst in on you! Before we went I thought we would make use of this facility but because of the cleanliness or the toilet and shower areas I did not feel the need to. I think this whole area of the site has recently been refurbished.

The onsite shop sold everything you could need, the prices were more expensive than any supermarket but then I think this is the norm for site shops.

The site itself has static caravans which are privately owned, and statics which they hire out (these did look very nice), a field for tourers, a field for EHU and a field for non EHU, I think the EHU pitches were slightly larger than the non EHU. It is a large site by my standards, but I really liked it. We regularly holiday on a static site a mile or so down the road which is small and quiet, although this site was larger I did not dis-like it in any way.

There is a very nice play area which my children loved, a small crazy golf, table tennis, sandpit, zip wire, large draughts. We do not have a dog but did walk through the dog walking field which was completely separate from the children's' play area, that was also very nice, lots of wildlife and fantastic views from the cliff edge.

The site caters for all ages and types of campers, we had all sizes of tents surrounding us. Into the evening there was a little bit of noise from other campers having a good time, but really only voices and laughter (who can honestly complain about people enjoying themselves whilst camping!) My three children all slept fine as by 11pm it was reasonably quiet.

In the village there are a few pubs, shops and a brilliant army surplus shop which sells very reasonably priced outdoor weather gear, in the other direction there is west runton which is pretty much the same, small villages but with the basic shops and a good pub. Beach access can be found easily from both these villages as there is no actual beach access from the site, but can easily be obtained by a short, beautiful, scenic cliff top walk.

All in all we all thought this site was fantastic and will definitely be using it regularly, it was not my top choice for our first trip but now I love it.

This is one of the friendliest sites I've been lucky enough to go to. This was our second visit and the staff were just as friendly / helpful as the previous visit.

The facilities: clean toilet and shower blocks, family shower rooms, disabled shower room, a well stocked shop, laundry, children's play area. There's a lovely walk along the cliff top to access the beach and a short walk out of the site will take you to friendly pub and chippy!

Overall we really liked this site. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist and directed to our pitch. One of our few criticism was the size of the pitch. We have a hartford xl which with the porch only just fitted on the electric pitch.
The showers and toilets were cleaned regularly and after one busy evening I noticed that they had been cleaned after 10pm as well as earlier in the day. They also have family shower rooms.
The campsite itself is well set out, neat and tidy and there is an excellent children's play area. The dog walking field is large and we enjoyed the cliff walk. It can be quite windy but that is only to be expected on this coastline.

We liked the fact that there were friendly pubs within walking distance in both directions.

We will certainly return if we visit that area again.

We really enjoyed our break.

I went to Woodhill and thought it was a good site. Good size pitches. We were positioned near the road and thought it would be a problem with the noise of the traffic but did not bother us. If it is windy beware of your tent as our blew down. We did have a good time though and the staff were friendly, toilets were clean. They had good activities for the kids - play area, and giant chess and draughts.

There was a field nearby who had a car boot sale on the Saturday and Bank Holiday Monday. Quite a few shops and three nice pubs nearby the White Horse, Fishing Boat and Village Inn. Went to Cromer and Sheringham which was nice. If you go to Cromer it is a better beach and it has a great restaurant called Dolphin Freehouse that has carvery for £7.50 which was great - good size portions. We went to Priory Maze Gardens - don't bother to go as it is not a garden but a weed garden, we paid £5 and the garden was not well maintained. Went to Felbrigg Hall which had a better garden than what is supposed to be a proper Garden Centre.

Nice beach nearby to the site and there is a bus stop there also. Would definitely recommend this site

Our first camping trip for a number of years. So lucky to choose this site, even though a bank holiday weekend and very busy. The toilets were kept very clean, quick and easy to book in and staff very polite and helpful
Good sized pitches, great shop, which they opened an hour earlier during the weekend
Cromer and Sheringham only 5mins drive in either direction. Will definitely be booking again and taking more family with us.

We visited this site last summer with a group of three other couples. Booking in was straight forward and we were able to camp in adjacent pitches.

The toilets were clean and adequate for the volume of people staying at that time - although I would be concerned at the waiting time should the site be at full capacity.

Fantastic location right on the cliff top, but it can be a little breezy at times, so pitching a large tent can be difficult!

Large play area and dog walking field on site, and you can take the cliffside walk to the nearest beach.

Nothing really unique about this campsite, but it serves its purpose well. I would visit again.

Just spent the May bank holiday weekend at Woodhill Park and it was lovely. We have stayed here before and enjoyed it just as much. The site is very well maintained by a small army of very dedicated staff, a(small) well stocked shop which had very favourable opening hours.
The ablutions were good and a newly extended family area at the top of the site proved very appealing. The playing areas were great for kids of all ages and access to a wonderful beach is just a small walk. Pitch size was very generous and clearly defined (which I like)Prices were also reasonable.

Thoroughly recommend this site and we will be going back again soon.

Just got back from two night stay, our first camping trip. Staff very helpful and pitch size good. Found the washing, shower, waste block very clean, family bathroom was spot on with loads of space and very hot water.
Very good play area for kids, and well stocked shop. Only blip was loud lads in tent next to us. Would go back, value for money 10/10.

 And the wind did blow!

Woodhill is lovely - staff really helpful and you're next to the beach but not immediately accessible - a short walk gets you onto it and you can walk into Cromer easily. Nearby villages of East & West Runton are good - one has a superb butcher and veg seller!

Site - very tidy, amenities spotless. No obvious water point for motorhomes but you can get water. Good playpark, mini golf, football pitch, etc.

Well worth staying at if you're visiting Norfolk - just sit and watch the ships in the sea.

On arrival receptionist was very nice and helpful. We were sent to a lovely large pitch with hook up.

The main toilet block is very clean and spacious with a very large wooden table and benches to put on your clothes when showering (however my husband advises that this is not present in the mens). But I found it very useful when taking the children to the shower, we only had to take the towels into the cubicle.

The other shower block only has 3 showers and is a little bit cold. I can imagine that during peak times on the site this could be a problem but still very clean.

The site facilities were excellent it has a well stocked shop, an excellent play area for a wide age range, a small free crazy golf, free table tennis and tennis, football goals, a boule pitch and 2 large chess boards. My children were kept very amused.

The site has some beautiful views and is very near to Cromer and Sheringham.

The only down side to our holiday was the wind, because the site is on the cliff top you get the full brunt of the weather.

We will be visiting there again.
