Our first proper camping experience. Warm welcome from staff, quick and easy instructions regarding pitching. You can expect what it 'says on the tin' really. The rules regarding keeping noise to a minimum after 11pm was well adhered to, facilities were well maintained - a bit of tractor and strimmer noise woke us one morning but hey ho.
The site is close to Sheringham & Cromer - (sorry but Cromer is naff when it comes to night-time entertainment - folks living and working there told us there is nothing - and they were truthful, there wasn't - we were advised to go to Sheringham or Woodhil Park' sister site Kelling Heath.
We took our sons (21 & 18)they enjoyed it being a new experience, but next site will have same as Woodhill Park, hopefully, but with entertainment /club/pub on site.
Lovely site - excellent for those with young children / mature couples.

Just wanted to say what a fantastic site, we have just got back from a long weekend stay for which the weather was foul, wild winds and heavy rain every day.
We had a premium sized pitch to take our Outwell Nevada M and front porch + car and found the pitch to be very big with more than enough space around us.
Very clean site with great toilets and shower rooms (shower rooms each having there own toilet, sink and shower. ) Staff were more than helpful and always a smile when passing. Grounds were very tidy and the view out to sea was beautiful at sunset! (The only time the sun came out on our stay)
This was my wife's first ever camping trip and she was very impressed and we have already booked to go back again in August.
The site is in East Runton which is just a nice walk from Cromer and has a couple of pubs near by and a really friendly fish & chip shop within walking distance of the site.
Great site and looking forward to getting back there ASAP. Just be aware the site is up high on the cliffs and does get hit hard on a windy day.

Although this site is clean and tidy and has sea views, the pitches are too close together and everyone is packed like sardines It is a site geared up for families. So if you are a couple who want space and peace don't stay here, we visited this site out of school holidays but it was still overcrowded so wouldn't like to visit in the main school holidays.
Good location for Cromer and Sheringham, Sheringham is a lovely place to visit, Cromer is a bit busier and they do surfing although don't expect anything like Cornwall or Wales surfing
This site was not for us, would not stay, we went elsewhere

What an amazing and friendly site! We went for a week on 27th June. We hadn't been before but this site blew us away. The views are breath taking.
The site has very clean and spacious toilet / shower blocks with the addition of family bathroom with a bath for a £20 deposit for the week which you get back when you hand in the key, and family shower rooms which are free with a toilet, shower and handbasin in for if wanted to go in private. Our kids loved the park and crazy golf and popping in to the shop for a crafty icecream. The staff were great and very friendly.
My only downside was as a tent user with no fridge we had to use freezer blocks, you cannot take your own and have to rent theirs for a £1 deposit each and 30p each to refreeze. Taking into consideration we were there when it was very warm we had to change them twice a day and we had ten in total just to make things cold enough we spent £42 just in refreezing charges!
The site is very clean and is maintained to a very high standard. We walked around the wild meadow along the cliff top most days and also down to the beach at east runton which is a 5 min walk then along it to cromer. Our best holiday so far and we are definitely going again but taking a fridge with us. I would give this site 10/10 if they dropped the freezer block chargers.

On our 2nd camping trip we chose this site after going to park resort site (withernsea) last year. We paid extra for a premium pitch. We were very happy with the pitch and the site. Staff were friendly, shower block/ toilets very clean.
The shop had a good range of stuff but slightly pricey. Kids enjoyed the play area and the dog loved the meadow to run around in. After last year woodhill park is now on top of our list of places to go.
Best thing was other campers respected each other regarding noise. After 10pm it was totally peaceful.
As new to camping I would recommend this site for other new campers rather than goto a site that is cramped and noisy. Will be booking for next year as soon as we can.

Just spent a week at this lovely campsite for the first time.
Reception staff very pleasant on the phone and helpful and friendly throughout when on site.
Pitches partly sloping but staff seemed to realise that with a camper level pitch was appreciated. Pitches quite large compared to some sites and if you follow the instructions the vans are as far appart as they need to be.
Handy shop on site - lots of space for little ones to play football etc and a comprehensive play park. Maybe a few play things for the really small ones (2, 3, 4 year olds) would be an idea.
Nice little village and beach 10 mins walk and Cromer an easy 20/25 mins walk. Ideal for those in a camper.
Whole site spotlessly clean and tidy. Toilets and showers great. Never saw as much as a sweet paper anywhere on site.
Well done all - comes highly recommended.

Just returned from a 6 night stay at this site. It really is in a great place almost middway between Cromer and Sheringham. The site is fantastic with fabulous walks across the East Runton Cliffs within a few minutes walk. There is a Laundry, shop selling basics and some camping/ caravan equipment. Toilet and shower facilities are excellent. Some family shower and bath facilities, a great kiddies playground and crazy Golf. There is also a sports field which was the scene for a few games of Cricket for our group. There is a camping and Caravanning shop in East Runton village (2 min drive) which was needed as we broke four tent poles setting up in the wind. We only really experienced the wind once during our stay. There is a Fish and Chip shop about a 10 minute walk from the top end of the site. Morrisons is in Cromer about a 10 Minute drive and is vey busy due to being the only major shopping store in town. Cromer is a gorgeous little town with some cobbled streets and limited shopping. We did prefer Sherringham though as we found a area we could park for free two minutes walk from the beach with all the facilities you could need for free. Set your satnavs for the Esplanade in Sherringham and you wont be disappointed. The crabbing at this beach is fantastic. The only thing this site is lacking is a Pool for the Sunnier days which we had 5 out of 6. The shop could also do with being open longer. (in the week it closes at 5pm) Other than that it is a little gem which we hope to return to one day and it is very reasonably priced.

The site is well managed by lovely people. The toilets/showers are clean and warm. The shop is basic but sufficient. Play area very nice.
The only problem here is the location of the site. It is indeed a breathtaking clifftop location. It's not the view but the wind which takes your breath away.
If you visit, make sure that you are at the end of the campsite near the road and away from the sea. I was upwind of an unhelpful man who called over patronising comments as my tent disintegrated. No, using rock pegs won't help as the wind is actually snapping my guys! But an hour later his collapsed as well so no hope I guess (mind you so did most peoples, one row at a time, throughout the night!).
The owners are quite prepared for this and drove round during the night and next morning to help us all tape everything back together/scoop up the discarded tents (over 60%came down in one night) so I don't think that it's that rare!
It's a really beautiful but windy spot. Make sure you have a sheltered pitch would be my advice.

Our fourth visit to this beautiful site on the norfolk coast. We prebooked the pitch as we know how popular it is. Pitches this season have been extended, so there was plenty of room for our 5 berth tent and car. The welcome as always was very warm and friendly. All pitches are individually marked. It may seem regimented but in doing so it has given every one lots more space on pitch.
The toilet and shower blocks were spacious and clean. Always a friendly and relaxing site. The children have a large area to play in with swings, frames, table tennis, lawn tennis, giant Jenga, Chess and pentanque !
Dog walks are cut into the meadow. Beautiful views and whilst there had the most amazing sunsets!
Historic cromer is a 20 minute stroll, sheringham a little longer, although both serviced by a very reliable bus service from outside of the park entrance.
Highly recommended site for the kids and the romantics

Very good. We have used this site with a caravan and tent. The toilet block is immaculate having a separate cubical with a toilet, sink and shower.
For those who want it there is also a separate cubicle with a bath (£10 deposit for key to be refunded). A short walk towards Comer (5min) is East Runton with shops, chip shop and pub. The site is very well looked after with friendly staff.
There is a shop (we did not use) there is a play area for the children. For those who have a boat there is a launching ramp at West Runton and a beach with sand. (5min drive) 10 min walk along the cliff. For those who stay at this site will enjoy it.
