Very busy weekend so were only able to use 'over flow field'. Toilet block old with only 2 washing up sinks for over 50 tents! We broke and bent some pegs and it was very windy but what do you expect when you're by the sea.

Lots of campers but not noisy - we saw warden on his rounds several times. Seemed safe. Staff friendly and lovely very cheese acts in club house at night! Lots of basic facilities, well meaning but maybe a bit dated.

Good for a short break by the sea but as it is the only site in Hunstanton maybe it has relaxed the upkeep a little.

2nd time we have been here, pitch was really big we went on a full serviced pitch. The toilets and shower blocks were clean. The children loved the park and being able to have freedom to ride their bikes, I found it a safe environment

.The beach only mins away,we went on the sea lion tour and found it good. Entertainment not changed much from last time we were there but was ok. There's a tesco near by.

We visited bewiderwood whilst there and I would recommend that it was great for children and adults we had a great time. The entertainment team at searles were great, plenty for the children and adults to get involved in through the week. Would return.

We were very disappointed with this site. The shower blocks were filthy whatever time of day you went. I don't think the shower heads have been cleaned since they were installed and the communal drain was always full of sand and label debris.

The toilets were no better, 'cleaning' seemed to involve putting a swirl of toilet cleaner in the bowl and leaving the porcelain dirty. The pitches are tiny and crammed together, which appears worse as large hedges separate them but take away any impression of space.

That said, our pitch was huge but is due to removed along with some others to make way for more lodges. The indoor pool only takes 40 people at a time, so don't hold up your hopes of ever getting in there. All that said, the position of the site is excellent - you can walk to Tesco, shops, beach, fun fair.

Everything you could want without having to take the car. For me this in no way made up for the state of the facilities or the highly inflated prices they charge - we paid over £40 per night for a caravan with 3 of us and no awning.

We wont be returning to this site as there is now a smaller site opened up this year more or less right next to this one and they were very pleasant when we visited.

Have been to searles for a number of years and at least 3 times a year. Always pick riverside. Just came back and can honestly say regardless of weather the site is not as clean and friendly as used to be., we were flooded twice as the pitch where the hardstanding area is for awning was broken and left a 2 inch drop on one side of the floor as soon as you come out of door.

The pitch had dog mess on grass when we arrived and it seems that now at summer its a case of cram everyone in. We had 4 pitches that were on riverside that had 3 cars for each pitch, not enough space so cars were parked on grass by children's play area, even the ranger parks here and at 52.00 per night for the pitch with dog I find it a bit much, we had trouble getting in and out of pitch due to parked cars and found that the noise level after 11 was not controlled.

The showers were dirty first thing and on 2 occasions could not shower sons due to water being scalding hot, I find it a shame that searles seem to be neglecting the tourers and can only feel that they will lose custom. Will not go back in summer and if any will only go back at the most once a year. Not value for money any more has amenities are in decline

Very large site with good facilities.

The site has static vans, chalets, camping area with EHU, we were in the 'no electric' field towards the back of the site.

Arriving mid-week, we were the only occupants in the camping field. This changed on the friday night when a lot of tourers arrived which were quite noisy, but we couldn't complain too much as there were a lot of children and so this cannot be helped.

Toilet blocks were very clean and tidy, being quite modern. With plenty of showers, toilets, urinals in the gents, wash basin cubicles. Radio 2 playing constantly was a nice touch.

Hunstanton is a small seaside resort with a few pubs, cafes and shops. A large Tesco is by the entrance to the site which is where we bought our groceries. Although there is a well equipped shop on site.

Didnt use the leisure facilities but there is a swimming pool and I think entertainment at night time.

We went on a sea tour trip to see some seals in the wild in the north sea which was very good. The crew were very friendly.

The only annoying thing about the site for us was the fact that the resident ducks were over friendly. Stealing food from the bbq, and one morning one even had the cheek to have my whole sausage sandwich - after climbing up my leg to get it!

Recently been to this park and stayed in a tent for a couple of nights. Park is big and clean, didn't feel over crowded even though kids were off school. We had a 5 metre tent pitch with electric hookup. The pitch had a hedge round it also for some privacy. The ground was terrible though and I broke some pegs trying to get them in, this is obviously down to the hot weather though and the amount of custom they get.

Shower blocks were a short walk away and huge, with hot showers all the time and the general cleanliness was good. The site has a decent size supermarket with an abundance of stuff to buy, and prices were not over the top. The plaza has about 3 places to eat, these being chinese, american, and another called mariners which was basically pub grub. We thought mariners food was very average. The sundowner for entertainment was packed every night so get their for 7pm and you should get a seat. The entertainment was good old fashioned holiday park stuff. Nothing amazing. Plaza also has amusement attractions. There is an indoor/outdoor swimming pools, jacuzzi, sauna. A beauty salon (expensive), golf range, and driving range. Bike hire - £5 half hour. There's a chippy.

All the normal laundry facilities also. Children's play area.

Beach is 5 mins walk away, and from there you can catch a seatour (little over rated). Also sealife centre and fairground. Tesco is across the road from the park, and was mega busy when we went in their. We paid £37 a night for our tent pitch which is expensive as far a tent holidays cost, but overall we had a good time, and would consider coming back. There's plenty to occupy your mind, plenty of places to eat, and all the above ive mentioned, so lots on offer. Drinks in bar also are very expensive. £3.16 a pint I paid. I pay £2.30 at home. I'm not tight but.

Just come back from a long weekend at Searles. We went to watch the Kite surfing at the Lifestyles weekend which is a good event to go see.

The site was great, good location, loads of facilities, great pool, the cafe under the glass roof was like a greenhouse and very uncomfortable, however the restaurant was nicely air conditioned and the indoor and outdoor pool kept us cool.

Good all round site

This is the third time that we have been to Searles, it was as expected, toilet block clean enough, playground - full of kids a little too old, shop - well stocked and the usual - busy and windy!

We didn't see or have to speak to the site wardens, the pitch was the same as we had last year and was big, all facilities we in good order (water and EHU)

The entertainment in the club house doesn't appear to have changed and even my 4 year old remembered some of the songs! Maybe it is just me but it feels dated.

It was expensive but I don't think we used all of the facilities to their full potential, the indoor pool wasn't exactly warm and could do with a makeover, the gym costs an extra £4 and frankly isnt worth it. The indoor kids play area was crowded and an extra cost.

Overall a nice campsite with adequate and plentiful facilities, however we have visited for the last time.

Well what can I say.Our very first time in a motorhome of any kind and we couldn't have chosen a better start.

The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The site's upkeep was fantastic, clean, hot running radio two in the shower/toilets. Full of things to do if you wanted, such as swimming, evening entertainment.

The drinks were a bit expensive (£3.60 for a bottle of cider) but the breakfast at £6.50 was to die for.

Only 200yards from the beach and another 400yards to the sea life centre. The beach was fantastic and the sunset was well worth the money.

All in all a great site and thankyou to the staff. We will be returning.

My advice is to use Tesco's, before you enter Searles as this will save you a fortune on food and drinks etc.

All in all was ok. Pitches were a bit small, very windy due to being so close to the sea. But it was very average. I Have been to much worse but on the other hand much better. It was very busy on our visit and the skips started to over flow with rubbish everywhere. Especially with all the wind.

Great for walks along the promenade into Hunstanton and would return for that reason.
