Very friendly staff. Young granddaughter loved splash pool but disappointed we could not get into soft play area as either always full to capacity or not open. Great for my daughters cocker spaniel. Bar good and Beach Hut food very tasty and good value.
Our pitch (number 74) was handily placed for us close to shower block and dog shower. It was a good size for our tent but not ideal ground for a tent as a lot of concrete hit with pegs.
I would recommend asking for a “grass pitch” if you are a tent.
One other recommendation I would make to the site is to maybe provide a bath for small children. There was a locked room in the shower block that said it was “disabled / family facilities”. I enquired about this and was told it was more for disabled. I believe a bath facility would have been beneficial for my 20 month granddaughter and children of a similar age as they are not always easy to manage in a shower faculty.
Easy access to beach and Town Centre and large Tesco Superstore in easy walking distance.
I would return to this site.

Absolutely loved this site,
The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly.
Pitches have little hedges around.
Site lovely and clean, showers etc spotless.
Right next to the beach. Short walk into Hunstanton!

On arrival was a bit concerned that no masks were being worn at all in the reception area.
Social distancing also did not appear to exist.
Our pitch was 8m x 8m however we couldn't use it fully as pitch had a hook up waste and water bang in the middle so no room to put our awning up. As there are high hedges all around this made it difficult to use to its full extent.
Site is probably fine for young families. But not for us although it was the last bank holiday weekend many facilities closed early or did not open at all.
Great location for Hunstanton but not for us.
Wont be visiting again.

Good site, well run, very good facilities, 3 swimming pools, best fish and chips.
Toilets and showers could do with updating and refurbishment.
Good access to the beach.
Have booked for next year, children think it is ace.

Really friendly staff. Although I only had contact with the reception staff on arrival the rest of the staff were friendly.
Lots to do on site and a lovely bar area and pools. Very noisy at closing time, but that's to be expected.
Toilet and shower block that we used was clean most of the time but it was very busy, one of the cubicles has a thermostatic tap shower but nowhere to put your shampoo and stuff, only the toilet to use as a seat. I like the cubicles with the sink and plug sockets! Very useful for using own hairdryer and straighteners.
We took 2 dogs and was pleased that the beach was dog friendly and had good walks to Heacham along the beach then back on a footpath, there's dog shower as well on site.
Chain pub near by and Tesco's which open until midnight, except Sunday.

It really depends on the age of your child. For younger families it's probably ideal. For mine. Not so much. Our site pitch was right in front of the children's play ground and the land train stop. So if you wanted an early night 11pm it's not happening. Kids were out screaming til midnight and then started again at 7am.
The mobile network is very bad and my son bought the wifi package and was very disappointed. I felt that there should have been wifi extenders around the park. Trying to upload photos was so frustrating not to mention using the SEARLES APP. No signal meant no access to the app and information 😕
There is a local Nisa on site with freshly made baguettes (highly recommend) but a Tesco across the road so getting the essentials was easy.
Indoor and outdoor pools were used regularly. Sadly the weather wasn't great for the time we were there.
Evening entertainment was enjoyable.
The laundromat had 4 washers and 4 dryers but only 3 of each was working so it was a wait to get 2 loads done. Thankfully there was a small selection of books to read (free exchange)
The site has tennis courts(bring your own equipment) golf course. Fishing ponds. Bowling green.

We have stayed here numerous times on various size pitches including grass and hardstanding. The grass pitches are clearly marked but as we generally visit out of season when it can be wet we prefer hardstanding. Some of the pitches we’ve stayed on do get surface water and you obviously pay more for larger pitches with facilities.
This time stayed on Riverside on a 12m x 8m main service pitch for £93 for 3 nights and it was lovely. We were opposite the children’s play area but it was quiet. We’ve always got tv reception but no free WiFi.
The barriers at the main top entrance, which are normally up, were manned, due to Covid, with security who gave us an envelope with all the necessary information.
We don’t usually make use of any of the entertainment so don’t come into contact with staff but a couple of years ago the grandkids absolutely loved the pools.
The toilet/shower facilities were cleaned regularly and there is a drive over grey waste disposal.
This site is very convenient for a walk along the flat promenade into Hunstanton. Whilst some parts of Hunstanton are hilly there are regular buses to Kings Lynn or Cromer via Sherringham and Wells. Near the top entrance is Tesco, a pub that serves breakfast and other meals as well as a bus.
No doubt we will visit again.

Very nice site but obviously limited facilities due to the present situation
Our pitch was next to the exit for the beach and had I had known this I wouldn’t have booked, it wasn’t private and although the sign on the gate said it would be locked at dusk for security it wasn’t and this was a real negative
Would still return though and request a different pitch!
