Had a couple days here, the site itself is nice and well laid out. The showers and toilets were clean and heated, which was nice at this time of the year. We had a small serviced pitch which is great, although the TV point I was unsuccessful but I think it is more due to my TV. These pitches are neat, flat and the hedge rows are a nice touch.
The swimming pool was good and not overcrowded.
Hunstanton is OK but not a lot there, so will I be back. Probably not.

Fantastic site. Arrived here without a booking having left a truly awful site early. The staff were fantastic as was all the facilities. The toilets and showers were huge warm and never busy. Lovly private wash basins which I find really useful not wanting to shower twice a day. The indoor pool was great, never too busy. Entertainment surprisingly good. Catered for older people as well as children. We extended our holiday by a day because we enjoyed it so much. We will be back again as soon as we can. Price was really good as well

We booked a 10 X 8 metre fully serviced tent pitch (own water supply, 16amp electric and TV hook up). We didn't use the TV hook up and stand with the water and electric hook up shared the boundary between us and the next door pitch.
First of all, the pitch is exactly the size they say, so if you book, ensure you book taking into account where you will park your car and how far your guy ropes come out.
The ground is very hard with lots of flint stones, which we had to kick away before laying the footprint. We had to use rock pegs to secure the tent down. Even though we were on a pitch sheltered on 3. 5 sides by laurel hedging, the tent still took some battering from the wind.
Near the open, non electric touring field there was one toilet and shower block, which looked very modern with wet room style showers. There are no chairs on benches in these showers. The other shower and toilet blocks had separate sinks, toilets and showers using a curtain and then a small bench on the side. The showers were push button and the water was always warm to a maybe a little too hot. Every time we used the facilities, they were always in a used, but clean and acceptable condition. There were also free hairdryers within the blocks, and in the blocks with the cubicled sinks, there was an electric socket in case you wanted to use your own hairdryer, straighteners, or indeed to boil a kettle! (I saw this on a few mornings).
The review below, lists the general facilities on site and on the whole, the site was in a clean condition. However, during our visit, we woke on 3 mornings to a delightful package of dog excrement on our pitch, which hadn't been picked up by the owners. This has nothing to do with the management of the site, but the poor manners of others on site.
The entertainment on an evening for young children was thoroughly enjoyed by my nearly 6 year old daughter, however if you want full on entertainment all day long, then a Haven site would be better suited to your needs.
Overall, a pleasant stay. Would I go again? maybe not, because I don't think our pitch or site facilities for just over £50 per night pitch fee was warranted, and there is very little to do outside of the site, because from what we could see Hunstanton 'resort' is just really the beach and generally seaside shops. I would rather spend the same money to stay on a Haven site and in a holiday resort with other shops etc. In the town centre, so that I didn't have to stay within the site, or a more luxurious site with better restaurants etc.

We have been to Searles for several years, this year being the first time in a Lodge.
Our accommodation was clean, spacious and in our opinion, good value for money.
Having previously stayed in our tent, and other static caravans.
We arrived early and avoided the traffic on route, and made use of the facilities, gaining an extra day!
The on site facilities were great, the pools were nice, having recently been refurbished. There was a slide and inflatable sessions in the late afternoon for the children, and children's entertainment through the day and into the evening. There are 2 clubs one for families and an adults only area.
There is a on site Nisa shop, Chip shop, Laundrette, Hire shop, indoor and outdoor play areas, several restaurants and Gas sales. Searles also provide a land train which is free around the site, and runs into town for 60p for one stop, or £2 return. Well worth using if going into town from the touring area as it's quite a long walk!
The welcome pack was useful, had some money off vouchers for the Wash Monster sea tour, golf discounts and a £25 off your next stay, doubled if rebooked before leaving, which we have used off a touring pitch.
Nearby you have a Marstons two for one pub and a Tesco store, Kings Lynn is a short bus ride away with busses stopping outside the park!
The town is the usual seaside town, lots of local shops, doesn't appear to have been taken over by big brands, except small Tesco and Sainsburys store, Boots and the usual Banks!

I picked this site due to the reviews on here
I initially got worried about this site when I looked at a satellite photo on Goggle maps, it looks horrendous
Fortunately we got there and it wasn't half as bad as I thought, each pitch has a hedge all the way round, ideal for privacy and keeps the wind at bay
The pitches are a bit hard and stony, but the weather had been good
All in all I was quite impressed, toilet block was a 2 minute walk away and well equipped
Beach 5 minute walk away, with lovely soft golden sand
The entertainment centre and swimming pool is closer to 10 minutes walk
My little one loved the pools, I found them a little chilly
The only downer to this otherwise lovely family seaside holiday was one afternoon a group of travellers moved onto the site, then items started to disappear, including my outside lanterns. In my 42 years I've never had something stolen while camping. Happily the local constabulary escorted them off and security was increased on the gates
All in all a love holiday, in a lovely location, in a lovely part of the world

We had been before in April and left a more thorough review. We enjoyed our previous visit so much that that we returned in July and again had a pleasant stay.
We reserved a fully serviced pitch this time and felt this was well worth it. We were lucky to experience good weather and enjoyed the seaside aspect in the sun including some powerboat racing that was held that weekend. The outdoor pool area was lovely and if you are lucky enough to get the weather the facility is very relaxing.
Anyway briefly we would recommend the site.

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of May half term and had a great time. There were loads of activities for children and although the site is very large there was availability for everything.
The pool has a number restriction but is gorgeous when you get in there. The outside pool was open and some brave souls used that and the slide that goes into it.
Toilet and shower blocks were clean and well stocked.
The site chippy was popular as was the evening entertainment room (personally not our thing) but everyone seemed to be having fun. Various other eateries seemed well patroned and the rugby on the big screen helped get people in the bar. Faultless service in the restaurant, nothing was too much trouble, and we enjoyed our meal.
The land train can be caught from various stops on site and takes you into and through Hunstanton, allowing you to get off at various points too. Small charge, but worth it especially if with small children.
The town is within walking distance and especially lovely if you take the seafront path, gorgeous views!
The sea front fair is very popular too and reasonable cost for rides.
Definitely a great site for young families.

We booked late, Good Friday evening to be exact, and were lucky enough to find an electric pitch available from the next day through to the Tuesday. The site was very busy as it was Easter and we were pleasantly surprised that the pitch we were allocated happened to be, in our view, perhaps the most private of the pitches in the caravan area. Had we have been in the main area I think we would have felt a bit cramped although when the site practically cleared on Easter Monday it became more apparent that there was a nicely laid out site below the sea of caravans and tents.
A number of reviewers have commentated that this type of park resort would not be their normal type of site. We sit firmly in this category, we had planned to head to either Malvern or the Peaks for some good dog walking. However a last minute change of plan, prompted by a dodgy weather forecast and trying to please an 11 yr old boy and 13 yr old girl meant that we stayed closer to home at Hunstanton. Anyway we were more than pleased with our choice of site and the weekend at Searles. It made a pleasant change to park up the car on arrival and not move it again until time to depart, this resulted in a very relaxing stay.
The staff and other guests were all very pleasant and for us crucially they vet the breed of dogs on booking meaning that we could walk them around the park comfortably. We didn't really make use of the facilities, the evening entertainment, bars and restaurants are not really our thing but my son and I used the swimming pool, the indoor one was fairly bland and busy so we were lucky enough to be able to use the heated outdoor pool which had opened earlier than advertised, this was very nice. We also hit a few balls at the driving range which was good fun, there is a nine hole links pay and play course for those who like that sort of thing. We also frequented the chippie on the Saturday night which was excellent and very reasonable.
Toilet and showering facilities were very good, perhaps need updating but perfectly clean and functional. In fact it was the best shower I have had to date on a site although my wife was not so pleased. The block we used was light and airy with high vaulted ceilings, under floor heating and radio 2 playing.
We walked along the front to Heacham and the other way into Hunstanton. We would certainly use the site again, particularly out of season for a weekend when we would be able to use the late Sunday departure to good effect. My son enjoyed the site and is keen to return, however my daughter would have preferred WIFI throughout the site as it is only available in the centre. But I don't think there is any pleasing a 13yr old girl!

Just returned from a 7 night stay at this park. This park is not a site we would normally pick, but being off season we needed a park that would entertain the children (boy 11, girl 7) and as it has an indoor swimming pool, indoor play area and indoor arcade, we thought we would give it a go.
On arrival we found the reception to be inside the park and not well signposted and after finding it, there was nowhere to park, so just pulled up, which meant we were blocking the road.
We had booked a 16amp mains service pitch 12x8. It didn't look 12x8 but can't be sure. It was big enough for our 25' van, awning and still had small grass area. Water, TV, gray waste and sewage on pitch. It was level and easy to get on to.
This site has everything, but not everything was open off season. The shop was large (NISA) and sold most things you would need, but there is a TESCO's across the road. On site chip shop was nice and well priced.
The children enjoyed the go karts, play parks, arcade and swimming pool, as for everything else, I can't comment as didn't use.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
We would return to this park, but only off season as it would be too busy for us in season.

We have used this site three times over two years, camping both with and without electric and thinks it's a really great site.
The toilets by the field are more basic than the ones further down but are clean and adequate.
The new outdoor swimming area is fantastic but shade is limited as are loungers. If you don't mind sitting on the grass then there's always room.
We hired bikes for the kids for the week at reasonable prices and played tennis/crazy golf etc.
The launderette saved the day when our tent flooded due to our novice efforts at putting up our tent!
The fish and chips are actually cheaper than anywhere in town but there can be long queues.
We didn't go to the entertainment as it's not our thing so can't comment on it except to say we did see furry creatures on stage.
All in all, we love Searles but will be trying other areas in the uk now. I'm sure we'll be back at some point.
