Read lots of reviews on here before booking. I must have gone to a different site based on my experience. The toilets were not clean, the pitches were so close you could not tell which car belonged to which pitch. The grass had been hammered and was more soil than greenery. The general feel of the park was not for me.
I think I picked the same week as the cast from shameless as at night time gangs of teenage yobs had been let of their leads to generally cause nuisance. On the 2nd night I was woken at 1am by 4 lads kicking at the roadside lights.
Enough for me. The best thing about the park. The understanding duty manager who gave me the remainder of my pitch fees back after 2 of 5 nights. We left and went to a site in Sandringham. Absolute heaven. Never ever again.

3rd long weekend visit to this site, which both us and our 10 & 11 year olds love. Surrounding area is nice, especially Old Hunstanton.
Great facilities, food good, only minus point is the bar which is a bit shabby, it could be smarter to match the rest of the site and it's facilities. Footpath to the beach in about 4 minutes.
Loads for the children to do, which allows time for parents to sit and relax.
Pitches are very good with electric hook up etc. Toilet & shower facilities are excellent and always clean.
Washing Up area very good.

Just came back from our first holiday in our new tourer and found Searles an excellent choice for beginnners.
The staff were very helpful and the site was spotlessly clean.
The hardstanding pitch we chose was quite large with electric hook up and personal water and waste points. Our pitch was set in a 3 sided hedged area so it felt quite secluded.
We were right opposite the play area which was great for sending the kids to while we struggled to set up!
The only downside was we were on the main route through the site so there were people still ambling past quite noisily until about 1am.
The facilities are fab, showers etc very clean, well stocked shop on site, indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzis, gym, hairdressers, lots of eating choices (although a tad pricey) and a great hire shop to name a few.
The evening entertainment was a bit cheesy although my 9 & 11 year old children did get into the swing of it after a while.
Hunstanton is a great seaside town, lots of great places to eat, funfair, arcades etc.
We are definitely going again soon!

Visit this site every year as family friendly park. Showers always clean, park still as fun as last year. This year we took our caravan on its first outing, we were given a large pitch as we got our van awning and 3 cars on our pitch. Didn't have any trouble with getting on pitch, had plenty of room to move. Had a good time despite the weather. Our only gripe was the entertainment same as past year. But our kids enjoyed it. Had a lovely chinese from the town as we decided to do the arcades instead of the site entertainment. All staff friendly and do anything for you, will be returning soon.

We choose a pitch that included electric and sky tv hook up. There was plenty of room for our tent and car with loads of room to spare. Only dowmfall, many tents pegs were bent due to the drainage system.
The showers and toilets were always clean and warm due to the underfloor heating. The only down fall I found was the hot water in the sinks was far to hot, be very careful with children! I could not bare it at all.
The site had plenty of free activities for the younger children but nothing for my Boys who are pre-teen. Apart from the indoor swimming pool. They spent their time and money hiring various bikes, go-karts etc. From the hire shop.
I thought the food was a bit pricey on site apart from the chip shop which was good value, but I was on a very tight budget!
Overall I would go again but further on in the season when hopefully there would be more to do and the out door pool would be open.

Found this to be a really good site. Although we didn't use the facilities. At least some were available for us.
The pitches are great for motor homes and caravans, all hardstanding, large enough to provide a patio area and each with their own electric hookups etc.
I loved the way each pitch had a hedge round three sides. It was like camping in a little garden.
There was a childrens play area in the middle of our area and we were only a short walk from the lovely beach and prom.
I would definitely stay here again, though I was sad to read a few negative comments about the place in other reviews, but then as I say we didn't use the facilities.

Our first time out in our new motorhome so booked for the kids half term at Searles (first time at the park). Checked in all ok went off down to the touring park, which is huge with many different types of pitches, paddocks etc. We had a straight route onto our pitch which was good for partner.
My bike was pinched from outside the entertainment complex within 2 hours of arriving. Silly me I didnt lock it up but as place looked half empty I didnt expect to. Luckily when we went back at 7pm for the show it had miraculously reappeared so an idle so and so had 'borrowed' it. Found a chain and padlock for rest of the week, be warned.
The food in the restaurant - well I was pleased with mine and so was my child but my poor partner was on the toilet for the rest of the evening and into the early hours. Plus for the prices, surely some fresh veg would have been doable, not canned?
The indoor pool was great and warm but grubby on floors etc, the two lifeguards were eating and texting all the time we were in there. There was an emergency at one point, luckily one of them put his phone down in time to jump in to sort it out. Also with all the people parking their pushchairs, prams etc in the spectators area (as there seemed to be nowhere else for them) you got rather hemmed in at busy periods.
The shower/toilet block was great, clean, nice music playing and warm water. Seemed to push in a button to get the water to work, then it popped out a few seconds later and the water stopped so I had my back to the wall trying to keep the button in the whole time.
The location was great in relation to a big Tesco nearby although there is a large shop on site too which is well stocked and not too pricey. We used our bikes all week (when I found it again!) to get about down the seafront to the town and did lots of walking with the dog.
My partner thought the bar prices were steep but it didn't stop him having a few! We liked how Rollo entertained the children all week with magic, general kids silliness which we were all giggling at, party games etc.
We all enjoyed our break apart from what I've mentioned earlier and will go back when it is a bit further on into the season so more things will be available to us on the site and more than zero degrees! Glorious sunshine and no rain was a real bonus though.

Just came back on Monday from this site.We rang on the Friday to see if we had to book, staff neglected to tell us none of the restaurants were open only country club which closed at dusk so that was disappointing. However good main service pitch, lovely hot showers and clean toilets. All in all clean site but shame about the bars etc.
200 yards to beach which was clean and nice walk along prom in Hunstaton recommend. The Chinese restaurant buffet style meal excellent and Sunday lunch at the pub called something and tope can't remember first name, but very welcoming and food excellent. Would stay again when more happening on site.

Ok Team, once again with our reviews as you will see we do the not so good bits first.
Serles leisure resort. Hunstanton. Norfolk.
This is a tight place for caravans. Some of the pitches are very tight for moving around on. More than once I had visions of seeing a caravan in the side of the car. My wife described it as cosy, very cosy indeed ! dont get us wrong the pitches are indeed nice, clean and the supply is good with both electric and water and TV point for your goggle eyed mob and they have the benefit of the bushy divide but they are still tight to get onto and you are indeed close to each other. For the inexperience caravanner it could be trip to hell and back getting into on, off and out of the pitches.
Watch your head on the wooden rafters in the toilet areas ! anyone over 6ft 6 like me can have a nice bang on the head. Trust me I know.
They dont enforce any noise policy at night and some people just dont know when to stop.
The river that runs through the site is a shame and there is no way that any human would or should go anywhere near it. Serles need to do something to enhance the river by cleaning it up as it would be a wonderful centre piece.
So thats the poor bits. Now onto the good bits.
Dont bother with cooking breakfast in your mobile castle. The breakfast buffet is so worth it. We went up every morning for breakfast and for 3 adults and 1 child at a tadge over 20 sovs and eat as much as you can ! was a lunchtime not needed style of breakfast and it was all cooked properly and in clean surrounds. Really it was that good and with filled kids sorted it really sets up the day.
The facilities are clean, big and plenty of them. There was the choice of two blocks where we was and to have music while you showered was certainly different. They are well kept and well looked after.
We cannot comment on the evening entertainment as we didnt go up but the whole place is what I would describe as Butlins meets the private enterprise. They certainly take a lot of pride in the place for what we saw and the staff seemed happy enough to help where needed and the place did look clean.
We would go again. This time my only advice being book the biggest pitch you can !
Seriously it is a nice place, well placed to get out to explore the area and within a 5 min drive is a Tescos with garage. Usual others such as the curry house within 5 mins of the leisure resort.
Dear Team, it is well worth going to this place. It is not the cheapest in the area but everything being equal it is value for money and you wont go far wrong.

After visiting this site I have recommended it to many, the pitch we were on had water, electric, tv connection, waste outlet, which is rare for tents, the pitch itself was surrounded by hedges 3/4 of the way round making it lovely and private.
The site had quite a few playgrounds on it for children, indoor and outdoor pools.
Shower block was immaculate all the time we were there.
Staff were friendly, although a bit pricey we would go again
