We did this one on impulsive , an incredibly organised site, greeted by the rather glamourous "Kat" we were made to feel welcome and the pitch was level, no need for choc blocks here! superb site, you can see its independent and a family affair , take note awful Haven sites.! The place of Hunstanton is charming and small, not a lot happens here and that seems to be the charm. The site has basicly it all, a pool, decent large shop with a choice of warm bread in the morning. A crackin site club area for the kiddies both young or old! all in all a superb place for a couple of days, chillin out in your awning or having a walk and drive round the coast of north norfolk, By the way , west of hunstanton is Holkam Hall,VERY nice restaraunt on the gates of the hall , for a classy meal go! its amazing. We are going again which is the best advert of them all and I can tell you that max and paddy have high standards!, see you soon kat at searles!

We found this to be a lovely site, with the best toilet and shower block I have ever been to. We took our dogs and five year old and found the site to cater for both well. Nice big pitch with hedges for privacy, very close to the beach and town. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again although probably without the dogs so we can make full use of the facilites, couldn't leave chewy puppy in the tent alone!

Good size pitches and we had no trouble with the all service pitch. Some pitches could be hard to get into with a larger van. The weather was a bit rough, but there is lots to do in the area.

This is one of the best holidays I have had. It has lots of facilities to do including a park, swimming inside and outside with a big red slide, pubs, entertainment room with Rolo, Golf and lots more, there is also a little shop with lots of good things inside. In the caravan it is really good, stuff included like TV, radio, toilet, beds, tables and more.

We stayed here with some friends who had been before and although it is pricy the site more than makes up for it with lots of things to do and has great facilities. We were pleasantly surprised how reasonably most things around the site were priced (maybe due to the Tesco supermarket being so close) but the drinks in the bar were a bit more than normal. The pitches we were on were spot on and very close to the toilet block which was kept nice and clean throughout our stay. Overall we would return there as out of season we thought it made a really choice for anyone.

We visited this site for the half term holidays and found it to be one of the best touring sites that we have ever stayed on. The whole park was clean and tidy and well laid out. There is a choice of pitches for tourers, you can either have a normal pitch with electric or a mains service pitch. All of the pitches have hedges between them and the mains service ones are on hard standing. There is a shop on site which sells everything you are likely to need whilst on holiday. When you get hungry there is a chip shop and various other take away food outlets. There is a 'plaza' which has a seating area and Internet access. There are 2 bars and a restaurant all of which are reasonably priced. The evening entertainment is first class, with mostly adult entertainment in the Mariners bar and family entertainment in the Sundowner. I would strongly recommend this park as it has something for everyone with Hunstanton itself only a short walk away.

We were booked into an area called the hedges which was more private than the main tent area. Beach, town centre, and a very handy tesco supermarket all within walking distance. The facilities were kept clean, outdoor and indoor pool and entertainment was ok. Will definitely go back next year. Also must mention we thought the onsite prices were reasonable unlike some of the major holiday sites.

Having been a few years ago I was really looking forward to a whistlestop visit here again. The pitches were a reasonable size, and all had hook up, with water and loos nearby. There is also a field for tents that don't need electricity, but it took a hammering from the wind while we were there so tie down well! Five minutes from the beach, and plenty to do in Hunstanton, along with evening entertainment onsite. The chippy we found dire though, but the shop was fairly priced and had a good range. The wardens are about pretty much 24/7, and are VERY helpful! Sorted out our power problem straight away and made sure we had light. It's a big site, and things can get rowdy, but overall it has everything you'd want at a decent price. As mentioned before, there are ducks onsite. I saw them shouting outside a van one morning until the owner came out very bleary eyed and fed them! Only big downside for us was the pitch surface, it had been fortified and filled with sand/dirt mix, and nothing would stay put in it. We spent half the visit re pegging the guys and skirts out as it was very windy. Take sand or Delta pegs with you just in case you get one of these plots! Overall a great site, and one of the few that don't treat tourers like unwelcome cousins!

This was our first visit to Searles and we were very impressed. Although it is a large commercial site, it remains independent. The camping area was very well kept, most pitches sectioned off. And we managed to fit our Hartford XL quite easily on our pitch. If you do have a large tent, make sure you mention it when booking as pitch sizes do vary. There were plenty of toilet and shower blocks, and they were always clean with plenty of hot water. In the evening the site was always quiet. The site itself is only 5 minute walk from the beach and about 20 minute walk into Hunstanton. On site there is an indoor and outdoor pool. We only used the indoor one, as the outdoor one felt very cold. But the indoor pool was nice with a small toddler pool and Jacuzzi. There is a supermarket/chip shop/launderette/hire shop all on site. There is also an indoor play area for the kids, but there was a charge for this (£2 a session). We had a meal in the Mariners bar one evening, and we thought it was well priced an the food was all very nice. We only used the clubhouse for about 1 hour in the evenings, the kids entertainment was ok. I think we will definitely go back to Searles.

Not that impressed with this site, pitches very small and cramped. We camped in pitch 338 - at night this field very poorly lit. Toilet and washing facilities not always maintained to the standard that you would expect from a site of this rating and price - loo rolls ran out, showers not always clean. Could do with a few more loos and showers, long queues at certain times of day Extremely busy site - didn't feel children that safe, lots of traffic and very few grassy areas for children to play Site shop had a good selection with local produce available. Pool lovely and warm ideal for children as same depth throughout pool, showers and changing rooms grotty though. Won't be recommending this site I'm afraid
