Just got back from this fantastic site, spent a week there and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We arrived on the Sunday to very pleasant, accommodating staff. We were pitched on the rally field, in the far corner so it meant a bit of a walk to the utility block but that didn't bother us. The toilets and shower block are kept lovely and clean 20p for a shower or a full bath of hot water. The laundry area is well worth its money £1.80 is the dearest was but they are big industrial washers, so you do fit all your clothes in and then 50p for a dryer. My youngest son whose 8 loved the park especially the tractor. The site shop is well equipped and doesn't cost a fortune and it stocks everything you need.
Nothing was to much trouble for the staff which was great. The site did get busy on the Friday for the weekend and the rally field was nearly full. We've had a great time and can't wait to go back!

Brilliant site! tent well sheltered and pretty peaceful. Well impressed with the number of showers and even a bath! showers cost 20p but run forever, free washing up. We have booked again for next weekend. The food at the Providence in Yedingham is amazing, dogs welcome in the beer garden.

Just returned from our first visit here - would definitely recommend it. Well maintained, good facilities and friendly staff. Visited the Dalby Forest whilst we were there - excellent mountain bike trails! Site was very popular and there was some noise late at night - but my kids aren't exactly quiet when they're awake!

Just returned from a long weekend and we really enjoyed it (except for the football on saturday afternoon). Everything was very well organised and facilities were very good.
We have a 5 yr old son and 3 yr old daughter who spent most of the time riding round on their bikes without any problems at all. There are a number of rules posted around the site and I think these only benefit the site. A certain re-visit for us! Also very handy for the Dalby forest (Top mountain biking).

Excellent site with very friendly owners and staff. Showers and toilets were very clean and plenty of hot water. Pitching areas were good and the site was well laid out. The only downside was the noise at night and that was really down to others who obviously did not care about other campers. Admittedly it was a bank holiday weekend but children were still running around shouting at 1am which annoyed me to say the least. Other than that it was great and we would return

Just returned from this wonderful clean site. Baths and showers all for 20 pence, which were always hot despite being a very busy bank holiday weekend. Handy 20 mins drive into scarborough and just down the road is the delightful Pickering from where you can catch the north york moors steamtrain, we all enjoyed this. We went electrical hook up for the first time and had no problems at all.

Weather let us down a little but on returning here for the third time we new exactly where the pubs were and made plenty of provisions for the rain. Great site, one of the friendliest. Well set out and cater well for families. The shower block gets a big thumbs up from me and my girls. No great walks or anything to do on sight but the kids love the play area and make lots of friends. A good base for a relaxing long weekend every time.

Great site well laid out, pitches were well spaced out. We asked for an electric hook up and got a waterpoint too - hows that for luxury ! My boy loved the play area and my wife the fact that there was a bath to clean the kids. Make sure you take plenty of 20p's for the showers. The shop carried a lot of local produce which all looked good. The people who ran the site were friendly and even drove a new gas bottle to our pitch for us. The weather wasn't so good so we went on the Pickering Steam train for some sheltered fun ! Very handy for Scarborough but I personally much prefer Whitby. Only thing I could possibly fault would be the electrics on the site which didn't seem to be able to cope when people had to put electric heaters on for the cold nights the whole site fused but they soon got it back up and running - all in all worth a visit would go there again

We have just got back from 4 days here and it was very enjoyable. Very quiet site even though it was out of season there was still a fair few people there. Wardens were friendly and polite. Shower blocks were clean but cold. Lighting around the site was poor. Good children's play area. But overall the site was clean quiet and of a good standard would certainly visit again.

We went to this site for The New Year Party and it was great. The site facilities are second to none with ehu and taps at the rear of every pitch all Caravan/motorhome pitches are hardstandings which will take your van plus a 2.5m awning the site is level all round. The toliet block are maitained to a high standard at all times as is the pot wash and laundry area the showers cost 20p each as does the bath (in both ladies & gents)ideal if you have kids or for that long soak
Walking round the site there are plenty of dustbins and some recycling bins (glass) which are emptied daily. To the rear of the site is a large Rally field which we may use later in the year. There is a large field oppersite the reception which is for playing of games and flying of kites etc. The wardens are very friendly and approachable and will help you as much as possible. There is a large play park for the children to play on next to the reception and toilet block
