 Lovely clean friendly site great bar.
Not the cheapest
Showers need updating
Great pitches.
Dog walks great when dry weather.

Stayed at Cartref before.
Lovely campsite with excellent facilities and a club house on site for adults only.
Short drive into Shrewsbury for Christmas shopping.
Well worth it.

Top marks for everything, one of the best sites we have been,
Fully serviced, very tidy, helped me with a broken water pump,
Plenty of room on the pitch,
The toilets were great spotless and plenty of room, and to top it all their own pub,
Will be back

Pretty campsite with a good atmosphere.
Friendly staff.
Has a bar and pizza and curry nights.
Strict rules re noise which we were happy with. Good facilities.
Recommended.

We have just got back from a weekend camping at cartref.
The site was absolutely spotless and beautifully maintained, it was lovely & quiet and very safe for children to run around.
The bar was lovely and cosy & staff were very friendly.
We couldn't fault it and will definitely be returning.
Thankyou for a lovely break.

Brilliantly clean and tidy site.
Very friendly staff, nothing was a problem, very well organised and loved the on-site bar.
Reasonable access although local roads are a bit on the narrow side,
Good central base for days out.

Lovely small campsite in a beautiful part of Shropshire. Most pitches are for caravans, but there are 6 large pitches for tents. Each pitch has EHU and its own water tap. Pitches are separated by hedges.
The toilets and showers were always clean, and we never had to queue.
There is a small shop on site that sells essentials and also a bar which is open in the afternoon and evening.
You can get pizza from 'the shed' on a Friday night, and they do breakfast baps at the weekend too.
There is a small play area with swings and climbing frame to keep the children busy.
Cartref had a lovely friendly atmosphere and was very peaceful.
We really enjoyed our stay.

It was very clean and tidy and nice and quiet.
The facilities were good especially the chemical toilet. Good showers.

Lovely friendly warden team. Very helpful and welcoming. A quiet site.
Decent sized pitches, spotless bathroom facilities.
Reasonably close to a park & ride in Shrewsbury. Many places of interest nearby.
Enjoyed having the bar on site, cosy with its log fire and relaxed atmosphere.
My only gripe is that the bathroom facilities were a little on the cold side for my liking. Perhaps the heating needs to be on for a little longer in the winter months?
We shall return.

Great site, facilities and very friendly staff.
A must enjoyable stay. Lovely area, plenty to see and visit.
