Wardens/owners/staff all very helpful and friendly. Lovely site, spotlessly clean. Nice showers and toilet block. Private fully serviced pitch. Friendly bar and cafe area and small shop. Had a lovely stay and definitely would return.
Only, very small negative, when you look at tariff it states children are between 4 and 13 yrs. When you actually book it says children are 4 to 12 years. As we were a couple with a 13 year old we had to book as 3 adults.
We were given a hardstanding pitch in the adults only part which I thought was a bit strange. When we arrived, Wendy said we couldn’t go on there and offered us a grass pitch in the family area. We wonder what would have happened if there was no alternative.
I have just checked their website and this error has not been rectified. We obviously paid for 3 adults but weren’t offered a refund, which, to be honest we didn’t mind as it was such a lovely place.

Immaculately laid out Campsite yet Pretty with an attractive central fishpond. This was the first campsite in 6 years of touring the UK and the Continent where each pitch had Power, fresh water and grey waste disposal. The pitches were also so flat that virtually no levelling was required. Unusually for a campsite, the (free) Wi-Fi was available on the pitch and reliable.
Can't speak highly enough of the organisation on this site. In the Covid situation, safety measures were as good as you can get - one-way system at the toilet block with sanitiser dispensers and number restrictions in place.
Good Cafe with various food options for breakfast and in the evening. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We were on the Adults only section (Pitch44) with a family with youngsters just the other side of the hedge so that didn't work too well with one particularly whining kid there. Also, the bus service isn't very frequent for getting into Shrewsbury and the road in (A4386) is uncomfortably busy for cycling although we did it.
These are small criticisms and I would recommend the site to anyone.

This is a friendly well kept site. If you like to wake up to a dawn chorus then you like me will love it here.
The bar is perfect for guests to socialise with their dogs. And the owners and wardens work hard to make your stay enjoyable.

Immaculately presented site. Chris and Katrina very helpful and knowledgable about the surrounding area. Cannot do enough to help you.
Small bar on site, together with shop. Serve coffee and cake and freshly made pizzas at the weekend. What a bonus.
Don’t recognise this site as one described by ‘Judy’ It is about 15 mins from Shrewsbury and about 50 mins to Ludlow, which are both well worth a visit.
We will definitely return.

This was a lovely campsite set in rolling hills 19 min drive from Ludlow. Its a family campsite but big enough fields to choose a quiet spot if desired.
The owners were very friendly and helpful and let us choose our own pitch. Shower and toilet block very clean.
Would be great if a small shop on site was considered for at least eggs, milk bread and local bbq meat.
