Wow! What a welcome! From the minute we arrived we were shown the utmost respect and stress free help.
This continued throughout our stay; nothing was too much trouble.
The need to stay an extra night was accommodated without hassle. Easy access to shops, local beach(es) and dog walk (really dog friendly).
Lovely local cafes, restaurants and ‘people’.
A beautiful site and a totally relaxing holiday. Thank you.

Lovely site. Friendly and efficient staff. We had a premium pitch. Very spacious with a good size grass area and bench. Over looking the lake.
Very clean facilities. Excellent set up with two corridors meaning that facilities are always available. Shower rooms are big and include toilet and sink. No getting your clothes wet here or dancing around to find a dry spot.
Good covid protection measures in place.
Short walk into town and beaches. Great access to coastal path.
I can understand when many people return to this site.

Returned again to this fabulous site
Nothing too much trouble for the staff always ready to help you with any query
The site is very clean and well maintained.
A short walk into Combe Martin for a drink and a bite to eat is a great treat as you don’t need to drive
If you are thinking of camping in Combe Martin this site should be your first choice.

What a superb campsite to visit. We were met by a very friendly and cheery lassie who soon processed us at reception.
From there we were guided to our electric-hookup pitch, and what a pitch size! We have been to many campsite over the years, but nothing compared to this spacious plot.
The facilities were first class too, with a small toilet block/ washing up facilities near our pitch, with the main shower /ablutions block a short walk away.
Again, the beauty of these facilities was the individual self-contained rooms with a shower, sink and toilet. Never had to wait for a room, and always spotless when visited.
This place is certainly on our return-list, with a big thanks you to all staff at the site.

We stayed for 4 nights on a super pitch which was block paved with grass for the awning and a handy picnic table.
The drinking water and grey waste was on the pitch with a light that came on at night. Our pitch was in the middle of the 2 toilet blocks so it was a bit of a walk at night if you did not have your own toilet with you.
The beach was only 10 minutes away walking distance and it has nice shops and cafe’s.
I would not advise to use the tourist information in the village as they are very rude and make you feel unwelcome, these people are most certainly in the wrong job, we normally support these information places by buying from there but could not get through the door without feeling like an intruder.
There is a perfect bus routes and times to ilfracolmbe and woolacombe that only cost £12. 50 return with lots to do and I would recommend this campsite to everybody.

As a first time visitor you never really know if the site will live up to the reviews, simple, Newberry Valley Caravan park certainly provided for the most perfect location to stay and explore the North Devon coastline. The staff were so helpful, the site and facilities were super clean and the pitches were very spacious. The 10:30pm quiet deadline was very well respected by all so if you have children that need to sleep, perfect! The site is perfectly situated for walking to Combe Martin which is only 5 minutes away or head furthe down the coast to Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. Thanks to all the staff for a well run site! 👏👏

We joined our daughter's family who were holidaying here in their caravan. Pitches are ranged on terraces along a steep valley, which is good for privacy and views of the surrounding hills, though not the sea.
They had a deluxe pitch near the fishing lake while we had a grass pitch close to the entrance, with the facilities block conveniently about half-way in between.
There was a steep short path across the road down to the nearest pebbly beach, and the Coast Path, while the 301 bus route was convenient for Ilfracombe and returning from walks.
Individual shower, bath and wash rooms were spotlessly clean, though frequently very steamed up from the previous user. I suggested to a staff member that they needed more effective ventilation or extraction, particularly with Covid-19 risk.
The one-way system through the block was hardly necessary because we seldom encountered anyone else when entering or leaving. "Shadow" the black farm cat added interest, as did the alpacas, but didn't see any chickens - eggs seemed to come in a big white van.
Staff were consistently helpful and friendly, and helped us orient locally and on our pitch.
The pizzas you can order were very nice, as were fish and chips from the Black and White chippy in the village.
We hired canoes from one of the two outlets in the village, subject to sea-state, wind and tide conditions. Had a very pleasant paddle to a large beach to the West (Broadsands?). Excellent skimming stones abound.

Returned from a very relaxing stay on this site. The tent pitch was generous and had plenty of room for the car and 5 birth tent with room to spare.
Quiet hours were generally adhered to by all, (10. 30pm - 7. 30am), and overall it was a peaceful site during the day too.
One way system for cars on the site.
Toilet / shower blocks were cleaned regularly, with a one way system in place.
Pizza's could be ordered Wednesday & Sunday, small book exchange which was great, and an upcycle point for anything folk no longer needed but was still usable. Washing machines and dryers available (think it was £4. 00 a wash).
Lovely walk through the woods and meadow if you want a short wander.
Staff were really helpful and friendly too.
Short walk to Newberry beach where dogs are allowed, and then 2 minutes to Combe Martin beach.
Would go again.
