 Stunning campsite. Very good set up.
Breakfast in the cafe, delicious.
Next time we'll be coming with 4 friends.

Biked here for a spontaneous night away with the kids, not far from home. It was easy to book online and the website and email communication were clear. We went here because our usual favourite has a two night minimum stay policy.
This turns out to be a well run site with a family friendly friendly atmosphere. We were greeted by a friendly warden who was happy to chat and point us to the facilities. The facilities are nice and clean, with hot water, toilet roll, soap etc available. Other campers playing music in the day were respectful of the noise curfew at night.
The tent field has well kept grass and soft ground, though it is quite sloped so the flatter areas will fill up quickly. Beautiful views over Morecambe Bay or towards Bolton-le-Sands.
It is nice that fires are allowed and you can rent a fire pit and buy logs at the site. For this reason in particular, I think we'll be back.
On site there is a cafe which looked popular and cosy inside, although we didn't sample the food. There is also breakfast and coffee takeaway and a little petting zoo with goats, ducks, rabbits and guinea pigs.
The shingle/mud beach is right next to the site and perfect for a scenic walk, though Morecambe Bay is not good for a swim. Bolton-le-Sands half a mile away has a good Co-op, pub, Indian, Chinese and chippy. Can't think what else you need!

Excellent site, very clean, toilets and showers spotlessly clean,
The staff very friendly and made our stay more enjoyable nothing was too much trouble,
The food in the café was excellent the service spot on,
Can't wait to go back

Good pitch, with great sea view.
Some pitches are on a quite steeply sloping field and are a distance from the shower/toilet facilities.
The site has a recommended cafe, although did not make use of this.
Approach is along narrow lanes with passing places.

Loved the location right next to the salt marsh and fab views, the sunsets are fabulous.
Cafe on site is good.
Toilets and showers are ok (one of the showers had a blocked plug hole).
It’s a nice tidy site and the people are nice.

In a word- disappointing;- reviews suggested much better.
Shower Block- Reasonably well appointed but not particularly clean; during our visit the showers were very slow to drain and on one evening failed to do so at at all so you had to stand in the previous occupants water and the whole room was awash. No hooks for clothes and very very short push-button water- 4 seconds.
All weather pitches are no where near level and too close together; both fields have a significant slope.
WiFi was slow and sketchy.

SUPERB in every way.
This is a quiet family run site which is ideal for anyone wanting a traditional peaceful beach location stay.
The family work incredibly hard.
The restaurant serves first class locally sourced food.
I can’t recommend this place enough.
Looking forward to a return visit soon.

Can't decide what was best about this site, the location or Archers restaurant next door owned by the same people.
Magnificent sunsets over Morecambe bay and excellent top class food at the restaurant, which is visited by residents from far and wide, you can't book so be prepared to queue, it's worth it!
The site itself has one toilet block with quite adequate facilities and there are several statics below the main field.
There are plenty of walks along the beach and inland and also a couple of decent pub restaurants in nearby Bolton le Sands.
Archers at Red Bank Farm is easy to recommend.
