Just arrived back feeling relaxed and satisfied. Not stayed here before. The entrance and reception were very well sign posted and easy to find. Received a warm welcome by staff who asked if we had stayed before and gave us a verbal tour of the facilities and then said we could choose our own pitch which was great. Need to add how tidy the area around the small farm, cafe and reception was in keeping with the whole site. The shower blocks are some of the best we have used, very clean modern must point out the push button tap in for the showers is the only con as the flow of water doesn't stay on for long enough, possibly could look into putting in turn taps! The small farm was cute and well kept. The washing up facilities where ok but again must point out taps got sprayed with hot water first time. The pitch itself was excellent lots of flat ground. Cafe is quaint didn't eat there only because opening times didn't fit into our day. Closes about 3pm. Will be going back in August 2013.

We have just stayed at Red Bank Farm for 12 days on an electric hook up pitch. Excellent value at £15. 00 per night for two people. Lovely views over Morcambe Bay from the pitch with sunsets to die for. Excellent shower and toilet block ( only complaint shower only stays on for about 5 seconds per push button)always plenty of hot water. Four washing up sinks and a laundry room with freezer for ice blocks. We had sunny weather and the site got a little full at weekend but there was no noise after 10. 30pm. Archers cafe at the front of the site is a must visit and the petting area for the children is great. Excellent base for exploring the lakes, Yorkshire dales and the Lancashire coastline. I will be going back again.

Never been to this site before, always wary of trying new sites. Had a tent with 2 children. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who were very helpful and informative. The field itself had ample space to pitch a tent with no issues of location, choice was left to us. Also allow campfires, as long as you purchased a bag of logs on site. The farm was a lovely rest bite for the kids. Facilities i. E. Shower block/toilets were immaculate. The washing points were more than adequate with constant hot water. The beach was only a couple of mins walk and a welcome addition to the site. Even though were had dreadful weather on day of arrival, we stayed indoors until the morning, where the sun appeared and made the rest of our break perfect. Once we pitched we were left alone to enjoy our break, unlike some sites we have visited. We will definitely be returning to this site soon.

Took my 6 year old camping for the first time since we sold the caravan. I choose redbank because of its location, right next to the sea. She loved the farm animals and playing in the rock pools. We had a electric hook up with stunning views across the bay. The hook ups pitches are exposed to the elements and oh boy it did rain with 40 mph winds all night. Wish I'd taken some wind breakers but hey, that's the British weather for you. Clean and warm toilet blocks wiyh plenty of shower cubicles.
Well worth a visit and excellent value.

Excellent site. We spent 3 night there with no electrical hook up. In my opinion the site was well priced at £6 per night for adults & £3 for children. There was a newish toilet & shower block which was clean & tidy.
The field we were is had quite a slope but even with a camplet Concorde we pitched it easily and were set up in an hour.
This will definitely become one of my quick weekend bolt holes.

Lovely site with great views over Morecambe Bay. The campsite is small (which is great) with only two fields with pitches. New and clean toilet/shower facilities. The best thing is that it's on a real working farm! There are cows and hens all around. The coffee shop sells good cakes and organic meat. Just tucked away between Carnforth and Morecambe. Very good value for money. The field overlooking the bay is the best one of the two.

We spent the Bank Holiday weekend at Red Bank Farm and had a great time! We were four families - old friends now with kids or grand kids - meeting up after not seeing each other for a while! The location, a few miles from the M6, was ideal for us as some of us were travelling from the South, others from Scotland.
The site is right on Morecambe Bay. You can't see the bay from many parts of the site but it's just a few minutes walk. There were 8 kids in our party and they were happy to make regular visits to the sea and play in the pools! The tide does come in quickly leaving no beach but there's plenty of grass to walk on and explore the tidal pools.
The facilities on site were ideal. The toilets and showers were modern and clean with hot water and hand driers. A laundry room next door also housed the freezer for ice packs.
There is no shop on site but there are shops and supermarkets within 2-3 miles. The Archer's cafe is wonderful though! Because we were busy doing other things, we didn't go in til the last day but it's worth going in early on in your visit - I wish we had! it's also next to the small farm area which the kids loved!
The chickens from the next field also like to wonder by the tents at breakfast time! Our kids loved to follow them and see where they went.
Pitches aren't marked but there's plenty of room in the fields. Personally, when camping in a group, I like sites that are flexible so that you can set up your tents to suit your party. This site certainly was. Signs saying 'quiet after 10. 30pm' meant that there was no unnecessary noise that disturbed others.

A party of 17 we stayed for 2 nights, fri and sat, on the late may bank holiday.
The weather was great, sea front location was exceptional and our early concerns about train noise proved totally unnecessary (west coast mainline is within half a mile).
Great facilities (excellent toilets and inclusive shower!), restaurant on site - with strangely restricted opening hours?, lots of shops, take aways, pubs etc in nearby Bolton Le Sands, plus large very spacious camping fields meant that there was plenty of space for the 10 kids in the party to play.
No noise at night even though many people where sat out 'til well after 11pm, fires allowed but only if you burn the compressed logs sold by the site (£6 for 10).
Will happily return to this excellent site and highly recommend to all.

We visited Red Bank Farm for a swift one night visit earlier this week. Although not being here for long me and my partner were hugely impressed with the staff, the campsite itself and all the general facilities the campsite had to offer (the toilets were immaculate) the ground may have been on a slightest of slopes but this did not pose a problem for us in our tent or it seemed for any of the campers on the site. We visited the site just after bank holiday weekend which evidently meant trying to fit things in the bin was a bit of a struggle and could of done with being sorted but our visit none the less was perfect. Running a campsite ourselves me and Kim don't often get the chance to get away in the nicer parts of the year but when we next do red bank farm would be one of the fist places we would return to.
Fantastic stay. Thankyou Red Bank

Just returned from a 2 night stay over the bank holiday weekend. Only £15 a night no electrical hookup but no problems.
Despite a breezy couple of nights enjoyed the stay. Arrived on Saturday so pitched at bottom of second field which was a little exposed to the wind off the sea but a more level than top of field, this did have the benefit of hedge which may have sheltered us a bit more.
Ideally located next to beach which kept the kids entertained. Open fires allowed as long as use there wood on site. Toilet shower block clean but the 6 second timer on shower a little annoying. There is a small petting zoo for kids also with rabbits and lambs and a rather frustrated turkey that is very amusing.
Archers cafe on the site served lunches, coffee's and ice cream, reasonably priced and homemade.
Morecambe only 10 mins down the road, tesco and morrisons also nearby. If you can be bothered cooking a good curry house 'Far Piavillion' 5 mins away that did takeaway we even got a bottle of wine thrown in.
Would be happy to recommend and plan to return sometime soon
