Lovely site with lots of beautiful views and walks. Right next to the bay which the children really enjoyed.
The facilities on the site include toilets and showers which were clean and a great cafe with delicious food. Very helpful staff on site checking everyone OK and if they needed anything.
Went for a trip to happy Mount Park to keep the kids entertained. Only a few mins down the road.
All in all an amazing trip for us as a family of first time campers! Can't wait to go again!

Great welcome and taken to pitch. Bit of a slope on most pitches so bring ranps. Great sea views of Morcambe Bay from most van pitches. Right on sea shore.
Toilets all fine and clean when we were there. Lovely old farm buildings on site and lambs in spring. Very nice Cafe with great quality. Slightly pricey if you are on a budget.
20mins walk along coast to first class micropub for quality real ale.
Royal hotel is very nice particularly out the back on a good day.
Small pets corner with 3 goats 3 rabbits 5 guinea pigs 2 geese and 2 pigs. May 21.

This is a beautiful campsite in a great location with clean facilities. We visited Arnside, cycled into Morecambe and Carnforth is similar distance in the opposite direction. It's perfect for families with young children and anyone who likes to be in bed by 10. 30pm.
Unfortunately, we were a party of 8 adults and even with no music, our conversation around the campfire was considered too loud. The warden was sarcastic and at times really creepy. Waiting behind vehicles in the dark then appearing with a torch shone on his face.
We spoke with our neighbours to ensure we weren't causing a disturbance and they told us they could barely hear us. The warden made us feel very uncomfortable and sadly.
We won't be returning

A great campsite! Despite the very wet ground conditions, we loved it.
A warm smiley friendly welcome on arrival (which goes a long way) great facilities - hot showers!
Generally, a feel good, laid back & well run campsite.

Really pleasant family site with panoramic views, good facilities, child friendly, kids loved the farm animals. Good value. Usually quiet 11 - 7. Handy cafe with good reputation but didn't go in there.
Lovely walks nearby. Muddy sand, but good beach at Morecambe. The site is on 2 levels, overlooking the sea or with some shelter from the wind.
Downsides - the site is sloped and it was difficult to find a flat pitch. The field became very muddy and waterlogged during very wet and windy weather, to the point of vehicles getting stuck, and mud got everywhere, putting a dampener on it.
Other than that it was a great site, but I will check the weather forecast first next time.

The web site photographs and site description are somewhat misleading. The site comprises of two sloping fields with ‘some’ more or less horizontal pitches. The segregated area shown in the photos suggests that each pitch is separated by wooden fences if they did exist, they have since been removed, it’s essentially a free for all.
The web site introduction details, advise that you will be given a preassigned pitch. We were actually told to go find ourselves a spot anywhere provided that the pitch was not serviced.
The site is predominantly occupied by tents. There were no caravans and we were only one of two Motorhomes on site. There are no hard standings dedicated to Motorhomes, you have to find a spot amongst the tents, we used our levellers to counter the effect of the slope.
There is a very good hard standing service station where it’s possible to drain grey water, empty cassettes and fill with drinking water. The drinking water supply is really only suitable for campers filling kettles and saucepans. The flow was so slow that it would have taken at least an hour to fill the Motorhome tank, probably much longer.
We were lucky and found a pitch with a view over Morecambe but this view is restricted to about ten pitches on the most westerly edge of one field.
With the exception of recycling, we had no need of the public facilities on site, all bins were full to overflowing. Some campers were complaining that there was nowhere to place your ‘stuff’ while using the showers but this did not affect us.
There were no shops on site. Make sure you bring all you need with you. Less of an issue of course for those with cars but seriously not convenient to exit and find shops if you have a Motorhome.
On the positive side, as the day wore on, the site filled to capacity with camping families, dogs and some of the largest tents on the market. Everyone intent on having a good time in the sunshine and a recipe for an awful nights sleep. Not so, everyone respected the signs for quiet after 10:30pm.
The site was kept immaculately clean with soft grass to pitch tents and awnings.
The beach is a short walk downhill to the bay.
A shame that there is no local pub, restaurant or shopping facilities, the site is so popular they would have a captive clientele.

A lovely site with helpful staff. Good clean facilities.
As a solo bicycle tourer it was good to be offered advice on tent pitch for an expected windy night and the use of a chair too.
Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Arrived here 15th July for 2 nights to a friendly welcome and promptly shown to our pitch with amazing views. Site has all the facilities needed and a cafe selling delicious food.
Micro brewery just a 10 minute walk away which we did enjoy. Too much!
Lots of walking and exploring to do.
Will definitely be returning soon.
