Spent the weekend at this lovely, well-maintained site!
Toilet/shower facilities were fantastic (hot water and high pressure) the only drawback is that you have to constantly press the shower button (I didn't mind though, it's worth it for a nice shower).
There was a cute petting farm with rabbits, goats and ducks. Also there were free roaming chickens around the fields (very enjoyable to feed them some bread in a morning).
Staff were friendly and look after the site very well.
The field we stayed in was relatively flat and the price to stay was extremely reasonable (with no hidden car costs etc).
A 5 minute drive from a corner shop and 10 minute drive from a large supermarket, there were lots of restaurants within walking distance (half a mile).
Views from the campsite were amazing and it is quite sheltered from the wind.
Had a fantastic time, will definitely be recommending to friends and very tempted to go back again!

Brilliant site, large grassy field with a gentle slope, electric hook up on top field if required ( must book for these) the toilets and showers are new and very clean with loads of hot water this is our 5th visit and we will be going again, hopefully soon. Morecambe is just a short ride away and you can get all your shopping from there or there is a Tesco at Carnforth which is only a few minutes in the other direction.

Red Bank Farm is a gem. It is a great campsite near the Lakes, close by Morecambe Bay. There are good facilities for tents and campervans. The toilet and washing facilities were
clean and with electrics for modern gadgets. It is close to the seashore so kids love playing on the beach there and walking to Sunderland Point, Heysham and Morecambe. Archers Cafe is handy next door for good food. The kids love the animal farm. Recommend seeing the Morecambe Bay sunsets, visiting Windermere and the Lakes which are 1 hour away or less. Highly recommended. Paul Davies

Just spent a great weekend at this site, despite some heavy rain spells. We have stayed before and will go back and recommend to any body wanting a true family camp site. Stayed with friends who have a trailer tent. We were denied a pitch together at another site near by because of the different units. Well they're loss.
Facilities are good. However you have to hold the button in to have a good shower which is a mild inconvenience. A freezer for your ice blocks is handy also.
The cafe on site is worth a visit however it does shut early and we might have eaten there rather than just a very nice cuppa and lovely piece of cake.
The surrounding area is lovely and plenty of places to visit as we did. The camp site has some great views especially from the top field.

Great site with awesome views of the bay from the top field! Will be hard to beat this one! (Just prepare for the wind!) Good on site facilities with plenty of toilets and showers and kept clean. (loo rolls ran out, but saw someone replacing them at 9. 30pm saturday evening!) x4 outdoor washing up sinks, laundry with very small freezer for freezer packs with note 'at your own risk. ' Didn't use the on site cafe, but looked very nice. A stone throw from the bay, with great dog walks and sunsets! Found the walk to the pub in Bolton Le Sands a little too far so only did it the once. Great value for money! Hope to return sometime!

We've just returned from a lovely camping weekend at this lovely site. The camping fields are huge, so lots of space in the middle for kids to play etc. It was nice that there were no allocated pitches so we were free to pick where suited us best. The top field has amazing views but a bit more exposed to the winds, so we went in the bottom field. Both are on a bit of a slope but there are plenty of flat areas to pitch so wasn't a huge problem for us. The toilet and shower block were kept very clean, but they were a little walk away from the fields. The cafe was good, but we'd have used it more if the hours were extended slightly - 9:30-3:30 meant we couldn't use it for breakfast or dinner, and we were out over lunch. I figure it's more for visitors to the beach than for campers.

Just returned from a fantastic week on this site, first time visit. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. On arrival were given a verbal tour of the site and its facilities. Able to choose our own pitch. Fantastic views over Morecambe Bay from site, beautiful sunsets too. Lovely clean toilet/shower block as well as laundry and freezer for ice blocks. Our 7 year old son enjoyed the pets corner. Lots to see and do in the area, wonderful walks along the Lancaster canal. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

On the electric hookup pitches the location makes for stunning views across Morecambe Bay towards the Lakes here. The sunsets were varied and wonderful - worth it for that alone. Friendly helpful staff and Archers cafe does some very good (simple) food using very local ingredients. Facilities not bad - shower cuts out quickly and not always well cleaned. Worth noting that the EHU pitches are actual marked pitches but none of the others are which meant some pitches were pretty squeezed when the site was busy. We'd go back again.

Had a lovely visit to this campsite with a large group of friends including lots of children. Site is lovely, well maintained and has beautiful views. Facilities are clean and spacious although there were a few issues - VERY hot water so I couldn't shower my toddler and showers kept on reducing to a trickle. Surrounding area is lovely and has everything you need. The animal farm and cafe were lovely, great ice cream! We were up early one morning so were invited to watch the cows being milked which was lovely for the children. The ehu is only available on very sloping ground but flat pitches available at top of field where views are best! Quite a walk to the water tap and toilets though!

Just had a weekend stay at this site and glad to say we'll adding this to our list of favourites. Even though we were unable to get an EHU there is a freezer to keep your ice blocks frozen and even a location to dry your hair with your own hairdryer if you need to ladies! But above all its a fabulous spacious site with fantastic views over the coast - the fields are well maintained and facilities are excellent, clean, plenty of loos and showers free with the price of just £12 a night. They have animals for the children to enjoy and a lovely little café - though we didn't eat there I can recommend the ice cream - Overall its a friendly, spacious and peaceful getaway campsite and look forward to returning soon.
