WE used this site during Oct half term as a platform for Legoland about 30 mins away.
The site facilities are very clean with plenty of hot water available. The pitches are very well spaced and the park is very clean and tidy.
During the period we were on the park we experienced very cold temperatures during the evening. As a result this caused issues for the electricity supply to our area of the touring park. As a result the trip switch kept tripping. The staff on the park were initially helpful but after the second night asked us to correct the trip switch ourselves. We eventually abandoned the supply and switched to gas for our heating.
This rather soured our image of this park that is set in stunning area with the river Thames bordering the park. I would recommend this site as a stop over for Legoland but beware cold nights

We chose this site at the last minute based on the weather forecast being particularly good for October and the fact that the site is only 20 minutes drive from home.
We arrived early friday evening and were greeted by a friendly, smiley gentleman and a not so friendly, unsmiley lady! We were informed of all the rules and regulations of the site, a few too many strict ones in my opinion. We tend to prefer a more relaxed site generally.
We were allocated a pitch in a small area not far from the facilities, however as mentioned on other reviews, the pitch was full of rabbit pellets and mole holes and was quite muddy, worn and a little uneven.
I went back to reception and asked if I could change and I was told I could although the selection I was offered was very limited.
The site itself is in a nice location, close to the river and village of Hurley. We went for a bike ride along the river followed by a drink in the local pub, The Rising Sun. Very pleasant.
The facilities are a very good standard and are well kept and clean. The site is very dark at night though so remember to keep a torch close by.
We didn't use the shop so cannot comment on that.
All in all, we had a very relaxing stay and would probably return purely due to the proximity to home for a quick weekend break.

The site is generally lovely and I found it to be in a good condition. We found the staff to be quite grumpy, though, first when I phoned and then again on reception. A member of the groundstaff was very helpful, but sadly this seemed to be the exception.
Because of the lack of friendliness, I have been put off going there again. It doesn't have that friendly/family feel.
The toilet block near me was adequate. The first shower we tried in the family block didn't work, but we found one eventually that did.

Probably the only site we have been to and not actually explored the site itself - we were too busy.
Walked the Thames path (pub route) one day, Legoland ( take the back roads 15mins and you are there - Ascot Rd/Drift Rd route) Henley and London - we were well knackered.
Great site though, right next to the river with good facilities.
If going to London, we got a return (non peak times) for train, tube etc from Maidenhead for circa £40 2 adults and 3 kids - great value.
Overall a fantastic location and lovely site.

We visited Hurley in Aug this year and found it to have very friendly staff. It is a lovely site within hedged off sections which was great. Our pitch was right next to rubbish bins and bottle bank of which people seem to think you need to put bottles in at 100mph ! The toilet blocks were newish but all very busy and the family one was flooded and filthy. The ground is soft enough for pegs. It is on the Heathrow flight path. Your sat nav will take you to the other side of the village and not to good road signs. Rising Sun pub is great but the other is expensive.
All in all it was good and we will return

We stayed here for a weekend.
The site is fantastic, it is clean and tidy, bathrooms and toilets are excellent, the best yet? The location was perfect for our family as we have a son aged 11 and 2 dogs that all love the river. We went for a stroll along the river and had a coffee watching the boats go by, it was great.Great place if you like peace and quiet and excellent facilities!
There is a little shop down by the river which is quite expensive for basic stuff, but handy just the same.Henly is a little drive away with shops, cafe's pubs and take aways.
We highly recommend this site to every one, it is a great base if you want to explore the area or a great place to just take it easy.
The site was very peaceful with well kept buildings & lawns.
It has a little shop inside the reception but we didn't need to use it.
Will highly recommend this site and most certainly go back many times just to unwind.

One of the best sites we have visited.
Great location for visiting legoland, London, Windsor and Henley.
Beautiful location on the Thames with lovely walks along to the locks and a local shop at Hurley. Completely flat site and although it was busy there was no over crowding.
Beautiful and peaceful. There is no children's park but that only encourages all the children to play good old fashioned games (ours were 7 and 11.
There are lots of rabbits so watch out for holes when pitching. If you have any problems the owner will come and fill them in straight away.
We will be returning so that we can take the children back into London to see more sites.

After reading some reviews on this campsite we were a bit apprehensive about our 6 night stay.We shouldn't have worried as on arrival we found the warden very helpful and friendly. Our pitch was in a large field surrounded by trees, the amount of space you get between pitches is huge compared with other sites (we had elec. + lge tent pitch) The toilet blocks were always clean and tidy !
Be warned the site shop only stocks essentials.
Some reviews mentioned plane noise! I can honestly say the whole time we were there we only heard about 5 planes taking off/landing??
This is a lge. Site but never seemed busy due to the layout(separated into smaller fields by lge. Trees/hedges)There are lovely walks by the river thames.Legoland is only about 1/2 hr. Away ! We also went to chessington world of adventure which is about 1 hr traffic permitting! Also maidstone train station very close for trips to London.
Would definitely recommend this site to anyone!

A lovely location and ideal if you are having days out at Marlow, Henley, or to the theme parks which are not too far away, great for the Kids
But, The campsite itself was dull, no atmosphere at all, sour faced staff, upon arrival we were told quite bluntly were to park,
the website has ads for horse treking nearby amoungst other things,
shower blocks are nice and the family ones are a real bonus, but let down by the lack of hot water,
nearby village of hurley lovely place again, there is a shop but very rarely open, we caught it once during our week, well stocked with essentials, my advice is to visit the local tesco's at henley,
Definatly a site that we wont be using again,

We used this site as a base for a weekend visit to Legoland, the location is great.
The site itself is quite big, but the pitches themselves are small. We have a large tent and had to pay for two pitches which made it quite expensive.
The facilities were good and always clean. In particular the family bathroom was really useful.
There was space in the middle of the pitches for the children to play.
The only downside was the noise at night, the no noise after 10.30 policy was not enforced. We were kept awake until after 1 am, this spoilt our time at Legoland as we were so tired. Staff weren't particularly helpful when we approached them about this.
