I can't praise this site enough. I stayed there for quite a few weeks in the summer and found the site and staff to be top class. A lovely family run site with none of the nonsense and rules that seems to come with Caravan Club sites.

The site is mostly large grass pitches with a few hardstandings for RVs. I was on a full service pitch in a field. It is quiet and right next to the Thames where there are some beautiful walks. The toilet blocks were some of the best that I've ever seen. They even have family cubicles with a toilet, shower and basin in its own enclosure. Excellent. They seem to clean them incessantly from about 6am until 9pm. Overall, A1

We (family of 4) stayed in a ready tent that are new for this year. The tents were still like new have all the equipment you need, the only down side we found were that the camp beds were very uncomfortable!

There are lots of toilet blocks and nearly always clean. The cleaner is very strict and if she sees children in the toilets with no adult she asks them to leave!

We all did love our week stay here and will definitely be back next year. It is a great location for Lego land, London etc. We caught the train from Cookham station (8 miles away) free parking and for all 4 of us to Paddington Station and unlimited use of underground and buses it cost us £30 - bargain!

We are quite new to camping with our enormous tent but this site was wonderful. Small bordered fields with the pitches around the outside leaving room in the middle for the kids to play their games. Situated right on the river with beautiful walks surrounding it. The toilet block was very clean and had plenty of space. The family bathrooms were great for us with our two small children. There are enough attractions nearby to keep the whole family busy and the site offers special discounts on some of them. It would have been nice to have a bigger shop on site offering fresh local produce but it was a small price to pay for the relaxing weekend this site offered us.

Wonderful location on the banks of the River Thames. A lovely hours walk into Marlow via several locks. We just love this site. No specific amenities for the children but this just encourages them to make their own adventures.
Good clean toilet and shower blocks. There are excellent 'family' showers in the centre of the three blocks which offer great space. Unless you want to walk into Marlow or go to a local pub (we haven't tried the local pubs) then you do need to get into a car. It is closer to Henley than Marlow (via the road). A truly lovely place.

Having done camping then moved onto caravanning, then sold all our stuff and had a break from camping and caravanning we booked a ready tent (6 berth) for myself and my wife on this site, it cost £230 for seven nights. We have been before so we knew what the campsite was like, there are two ready tents on site brand new all you need to take with you is your sleeping bag, its got everything cooker fridge etc (brill)
Anyway back to the site, great location, good toilet and showers, cleaned about four times a day, great wardens, do anything for you, good stocked shop on site, but not a lot for the kids to do, no climbing frames or swings etc.
Nice walk into the village along the river takes about 25mins, nice little village shop and some good pubs we went to the dewdrop inn about 10 min car drive its in the middle of no where but it does a great sunday lunch for about £20.00 for two well worth it. It also runs a free shuttle bus to and from the campsite so you can have a few beers without driving
Henley on thames is about a 10 min car drive and what a lovely place that is it has some good pubs and a weatherspoons as well which does some cheap dinners,

Also in henley there is george harrisons (beatles) old house at the top of the hill, its called friar park well worth a look, if your looking for food shopping there is a waitrose and a tescos but if you want a asda its about 20min drive out of town

If you are into fishing don't fish the thames along side of the park as its very hard to fish due to the floods two years ago I don't think there is any fish at all I did not get a bite all week, so use a well stocked lake which is located at a place called marlow about 10 min drive

All in all great holiday and a great and friendly site.

A Great site. We stayed for a Friday night and Saturday night. We chose the site because we were camping with friends and visiting LegoLand. Legoland is about 20minutes from here.

The site has about 200 pitches and was fully booked the weekend we stayed, yet I wouldn't say it felt crowded.

We were most impressed with the toilet block with family cubicles.

The children enjoyed playing in the trees and in the large open areas around the site.

Pay a visit to the Dew Drop Inn while you are there, its a short drive down a windy single track lane but well worth it. Great beer and good food.

We will definitely use the site again!

Lovely site, but the weekend we chose it was full to capacity, which meant heaps of kids! not normally a problem for us, but they were running to and from the toilet blocks and slamming doors, having water fights, etc. From before 7 in the morning, a nightmare!

Unfortunately we also had campers not observing the quiet rule at night, so we didn't get much sleep.

There is a well stocked shop on site - did not use, so cannot comment on prices.

Showers and loos, lovely and clean, constant hot water, although you have to keep pressing the shower - only lasts for 13 seconds! One of the toilet blocks have cubicles containing loo, shower and hand basin, great for families.

Good dishwashing facilities - large sinks and drainers.

Didn't notice any specific kids area so kids play in field where camped.

Ice freezing facilities at reception - bit of a hike if you are at the far end of the park!

Ground was nice and flat and fairly even, but a few rabbit holes (not many).

Very friendly ducks on the scrounge for bread, squirrels and rabbits.

Lovely walk via campsite down to the river - follow the river into the village and back to the camp.

Waitrose, Sainsbury and Tesco at Henley, about 5 miles down the road.

Two pubs at local village. We went to the Risng Sun the day we arrived for a sandwich, good value, includes chips and coleslaw.

Would definitely go back, but this time I would ask how many family groups in on area!

Stayed here with two friends for a long weekend. We tend to go to Over 18s sites however aren't any in this area so opted for this site.

Bit disappointed that we were placed in a field with a large group of families holidaying together, if it wasn't for the fact that they were very pleasant and the kids were well behaved this could have been more disruptive than it was. Would recommend the owners get an Adults Only field like other sites do as in the absence of a kids play area they took over the whole of the shared space in between pitches.

Site is very large, but well placed hedges create smaller areas so it feels like a smaller site. Pitches a good size and fairly flat.

Plenty of electric hook up pitches.

Three toilet blocks are reasonably clean, although facilities are a looking a little tired. The family shower cubicles were much better for a shower than in the toilet blocks, room to hang things etc. Although the shower only stays on for 20 seconds so there is a constant need to turn it on again! Be careful of the steps up to the showers too, without lines to mark each individual step it's easy to trip.

Nice little shop on site although you have to browse from the outside and ask for things through the hatch.

Ate out in The Rising Sun in Henley village, reasonable value for pretty good food.

Village was a nightmare on Sunday though in the sun - nowhere to park

Easy walk down to the river from the site, very peaceful with good footpath.

Only major disappointment was as we left we wanted to park up to have a final walk down to the river and were told that the parking bays near reception were not to be parked in and we would face an £80 fine if we stayed!

A great base for visiting Legoland Windsor. This site was clean with good facilities. The site is quite large but the mature hedgerows section off smaller areas meaning you don't feel you are in a large campsite, unlike some large camping fields with row upon row of campers.

The facilities are excellent, clean, and the large family shower areas were always vacant when we took our youngsters to shower of an evening.

We would definitely visit again and combine another trip to Legoland.

First ever camping trip, family of five with 3 kids ages 8 and 3. Couldn't of asked for more.

Great location for Chessington, Legoland etc, good clean facilities, hot showers and a big pitch for our Montana 6 with front extension.

If I was being really critical then I would say that some sort of playground for the kids would've been useful.

We will visit again.
