Good site, owner friendly & helpful.Tent pitches were a good size. There could have been 1 or 2 more water points as we had to walk through 3 fields to collect water. The toilet block was new and was still having work done to it,the showers were lovely and hot but the toilet block was not very clean,i went in one time after they had supposedly just been cleaned but they were just as dirty as earlier. But this site is still great and is very convenient for Hurley,Henly,Windsor and legoland .The onsite shop is open at convenient times and sells most things needed for your stay.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at this campsite and may visit again sometime.

Lovely location, pitch sizes very good and facilities nice and clean. Staff a little grumpy but with a location like this you don't mind. Pub is a 1 mile walk or bike ride away and very reasonable, no where on site to get a meal but you have plenty of room on your pitch to BBQ. Convenient for Windsor, London and Lego. Look forward to staying there again.

Stayed at this site with my wife and 2 children, 2 & 7. Upon arrival was given a pitch which was next to the toilet block. Did not fancy looking at that for a week so asked to be relocated, which he did but with a slight huff and puff. Next pitch was perfect. No 200. Not to far from toilet block and nice and flat. Pitches are in a number of fields which are fenced of with bushes around the perimeter. Tents are pitched around the perimeter with good open space in the middle for kids to run around and make new friends.
The river runs nearby and is perfect for a nice walk along.
Shop on site with basic provisions and newspapers. They will also freeze cooler ice blocks for 20p each which I found very useful. Laundry facilities good, 3 no. Washer and tumble dryer. Ironing board and socket outlets to plug into.
Toilet blocks good but could get messy at times although they was cleaned at various intervals during the day. Lots of room in each individual cubicle in the new toilet block so you can get the family in in one go.
Good location for london for sight seeing. Used the train. Drove to cookham just north of hurley, 15 mins. Free parking at station. Cost 30 pounds for family of four to travel from there and throughout london on all modes of public transport (not taxis) henley just down road from site. Very nice but pricey to drink and eat.
Avoid the rising sun. Bit rough, looks good from the outside. Do not avoid the dew drop inn. Quality food and beer at good prices and a warm welcome. They even have a courtesy bus which will pick you up and drop you off when your evening is over free of charge, although gratuities are welcome. Well worth the effort.
Site on a whole is one I would recommend and would visit again. The people running it are helpful although he can be a little grumpy at times, not enough to stop me going again. Its location is great and very accessible from the motorway both m4 and m40. The air traffic was not a problem, nothing unusual for London and not enough to keep you awake at all.

We stayed at Hurley Riverside Park on the 25th, 26th and 27th of July 2008.
With 4 young children and a 5 month old baby, you may think we are mad for wanting to go camping at all.
Hurley is very child friendly and generally quite quiet for a family site. We were impressed with the friendliness of the receptionist on the telephone and also onsite as well. Very helpful with booking.
Very clean and tidy toilet/shower blocks. (Except for the Sunday morning when someone had blocked the shower and proceeded to flood the block).
Nice walks by the river and the children were able to feed the ducks and swan. Nice locals and timed it right for the village fete as well.
Will definitely come back and will bring the rest of the family as well. With it being the summer holidays we thought that the prices for the site were very very reasonable. Will definitely recommend to all our friends.

2nd time we've visited site. Last time was a few years ago & still a great place. Ideal for visiting Legoland as not too far away. Good sized pitches & love the fact there's no roads running through camping fields so kids can safely play. Toilet/shower blocks simple but clean. Will def. Visit again for our next Legoland trip!

Really good location, easy to find and near enough Legoland and Windsor for our kids. Right next to river giving lovely walks along it to the beautiful village. Never made it to the pub. Littl'uns tired out from theme park! Pitch was level, toilet blocks clean and never had to queue. Shop is in the office, one that you have to ask for what you want (I like to browse a shop so this isn't my cuppa) and not much fresh produce but you'll get sausages / bread / milk there and tinned bits and bobs. Bit of aircraft noise but it stopped at night so not a problem. At the back of the camping field there is a little path by a stream that my 6 year old loved to explore with some great gnarly tree roots to play with, but a bit hazardous for my toddler so I had to keep grabbing her back as it wasn't v safe. No playground but we didn't miss it as only there for a weekend and were out most the time. Recommended site.

A nice site.
In our area there were level pitches around the edges of the field, leaving a generous space in the middle for the children to play football / cricket.
A new shower block (halfway through construction) had excellent showers - hot with good pressure. Strangely, no mirrors, although they could be following when it's finished.
We walked into Marlow, along by the river (two hours with 4 & 6 year olds). No easy public transport back, so had to shell out for a taxi.
In spite of the comments below, we were very taken with the Bell - in particular the beer garden.
We never noticed any aircraft noise, that said we live five miles from a busy airport so maybe not the best people to judge this.
Reception staff could be friendlier.

Large site, well hedged off between areas to make it more intimate. Stayed with a large group of friends in tents/caravans and all very happy there. Only gripe was that the toilet block closest to us (there are a couple) got very muddy with no facilities to clean it down after/before you use it. Also didn't realise about the very noisy aircraft on approach to Heathrow at 5am, we do now. Probably will go again as it's close to home.

Fantastic location and great for dog walking (most of the guests had dogs).
My only 'gripe' was the lack of a playing area for children so they ran around the site screaming and shouting from dusk til dawn!
If you go to Hurley village beware of The Bell.THREE POUNDS&90p for a pint of bitter

We stayed here during October, and picked it because of it's proximity to Legoland.
It is a large site, but the site is split into fenced areas so it feels more intimate, when we stayed we shared our area with 4 other vans, they have the units around the outside so there is a big area in the middle.
Because of the time of year there were no children playing, but it would be great in the summer. Several toilet and shower blocks and a small shop , we are planning to return in the summer.
