Hurley Riverside Park is an excellently run highly professional campsite ideally situated on a stunning stretch of the River Thames near Marlow, Henley and Maidenhead.
The friendly welcome and interest in everyone staying at the site demonstrates the secret of their success - great care is taken to make sure the stay is a pleasure.
The registration and entry process was made very easy, and the pitch didn’t disappoint - there was a good space between units in pleasant areas, but close enough to create a sense of community.
For those who want to eat out it’s a short walk to the Old Bell in the picturesque riverside village of Hurley - one of the oldest pubs in th country serving excellent food.
This was my first visit to Hurley Riverside for a number of years - it was as good as I remembered it, and good value for money.

Excellent lay out. Divided into a number of separate areas holding a small number of units.
They have been and continue to be working hard and imaginatively in creating high quality facilities. It appears that they genuinely want to create the best possible environment for their guests and all within an area right up close to one of the most attractive sections of the river Thames.

Great location for the river, Marlow and Henley. Good for walking and cycling. Hurley is a lovely village.
Good pubs nearby. Osler coffee on site.
Clean, spacious, friendly.

We booked for a week to visit our kids after not seeing them due to lockdown. When we booked, we asked for a pitch close to a tap due to having an onboard tank. We were told the tap was only 6/7 metres away. 👍🏻
On arrival, the pitch we were allocated was at least 20 metres away and the hose would not reach. We asked if we could move to one of two closer pitches and were told there were people booked on those pitches. We were told to buy a longer hose, even though it meant stretching it over the road. One of the pitches did become occupied 4 days later and the other didn't at all.
Our kids were not allowed to visit us without a charge of £2 per person, even then, they would have nowhere to park their car. The small car park requires a permit to park.
We have a large calor gas bottle which runs the heating, it was needed as there was a frost every night. It is too large to sit upright in the front locker so is usually stood, chained up, next to the hitch. We were told it wasn't allowed and the warden simply said 'do something about it'
So basically, we had to buy a new small gas bottle, a new hose, couldn't have visitors. £65 spend we didn't expect.
The site is very clean and quite, but frankly the riverside claim is a bit of a con because you can not see the river, there are no views, you could literally be anywhere.
Each to their own I guess but not for us. The warden we dealt with regarding moving was the most unhelpful warden we've ever come
Across.

Had a wonderful couple of days here at the end of September.
It's a great site, extremely large, but well organised. There are several different fields with pitches, each one has it's own character. There are playing fields for the kids, a nature walk, and good dog walking on site of off.
Facilities were excellent, very clean, and Covid 19 precautions in place. Friendly, efficient staff.
Love this site mainly due to it's proximity to the River Thames - a few minutes walk and you are on the Thames Path, where you can walk for miles and miles in both directions. Had a nice wander into Marlow which is about 3 miles each way, and a good walk down the other way which is more rural in feel
Will definitely return.

A huge site but very well run and organised. Very helpful staff. The hedges and trees give a secluded feel. Free strong wifi.
Our Advice on approach after the turnoff from the motorway is to ignore the sign for "Hurley Village Only". Instead, follow the brown campsite arrows and go straight on. After about half a mile, take the next right and go straight on. This will bring you right to the entrance of the Touring Park reception, and avoid a difficult drive through the village and past all the statics.
The village is a good 20 minute walk. One store - two pubs, one of which is closed for refurbishment. Sunday lunch at The Rising Sun was excellent. The walk to Marlow along the Thames takes about 90 minutes - just delightful.
A thoroughly enjoyable stay

Excellent site. Well maintained. Good adherence to covid guidance. Plenty to do locally with a pub in walking distance.
Lovely walks along the Thames.

Nice site, very clean. Entrance gate seems to constantly play up. Great being on Thames towpath. Can pushbike to Henley or walk to Marlow.
Would visit here again.

Beautifully maintained site in picturesque setting by the bank of river Thames.
Facilities well kept and clean with adequate provision for Covid pandemic.
Spacious plots in large enclosed areas.
