Nice site, and easy to find. The pitches are laid out around the fields leaving the centre free for play. Each section has a good sized toilet and shower block, although were short staffed the weekend we visited and although they were spotless upon arrival, they were quite yukky when we left. Staff were friendly and helpful and the park has a small on site shop. There is a fish and chip van just outside the park every Friday that was quite tasty.
The site has a large separate field for ball games and a nice sized playground for the kids, as well as a nature trail to walk through.

Pros:
Great location, very close to Henley which is a beautiful town. There is also a large Tesco there.
Beautiful riverside walk and picnic area.
Shower blocks were good, not amazing but not bad!
Good for kids, large play area. Loads of kids around.
Cons:
Small pitches. We were in Chestnut and it was very crammed. Lots of tents very close together.
No where near enough parking which meant there were cars all around the tents.
Shop is very basic. You're not even allowed in, you just point and a member of staff gets it for you! Mostly just tinned food.
It's a huge site which meant that it didn't have that personal touch.

We go every year its very handy for Royal Ascot. We have had a very good time every time we have been. The premium area where we always go is excellent. It is always quiet and we have never had to complain about anything.

There was a warm reception when I arrived as I was cycle camping, the Warden was very interested.
If you are solo camping £21/night is an expensive, backpacker rates are from £6 to £10, even on similar quality sites to this.
Its a good area to cycle, the towns are busy and the congestion in Henley was unbelievable I wonder what the NOx levels are!

What a gem of a site. Well set up with individual divided fields of pitches. The walks and bike rides along the Thames, wonderful. The picnic grassed area on the banks of the Thames very popular too. The only downside was that the showers produced more cold water than hot and the wi-fi connection terrible but these are being worked on and being rectified. Well worth a visit and stay.

We visited for two nights at the end of May. Very spacious and clean camp site with good facilities for our daughter (3yrs) including a good play area, nature trail and wildlife. Pitches are well spaced and level, also appear to drain reasonable well judging by the rain we had on the second night and just prior to arriving. Didn't notice any significant insect problems despite being very near water, however it was fairly early season. Handy location for the Thames, Henley as others have mentioned. Site felt very secure with barrier controlled access and frequent staff patrolling on bikes. Our only negative comments are that the hot water seemed sporadic and I never actually got a warm shower - freezing cold! There is also free WiFi but this also seemed sporadic! Both of these may be a temporary issues and if the water issue was sorted we would happily visit this site again and would have given it a 10/10 had the cold showers not slightly soured our trip.

Gem of a site! Friendly staff. Clean showers and toilets with lovely hot water - keycode pad to enter. Level site with access to pretty walks along the Thames. Large ASDA just 8 mins drive down the road. Tiny shop on site but you can't walk round - you lean over & look into it from reception and the staff hand you what you want. :))
We were visited by loads of pheasants/ducks and even a squirrel. Henley on Thames is gorgeous and just 5 mins or so in the car.
Lovely site for a short break which we used to try out our new van.
Whole field for kids ball games, excellent play park with a kind of obstacle course and goaly nets.
Pretty village - short walk with well stocked shop.
No minuses at all - definitely be back!
Watch out for the approach through the farm if you come like us through that way. Bit tight. Go further along the main road.

A fantastic site for tent campers. The facilities were excellent and well maintained. Great location for legoland and Henley nearby. The showers were super although sometimes a little bit too hot. It was well sheltered and small private areas bordered by tall hedgerows helped to make this large site seem more cosy. The play area was fine for my boys aged 4 and 7. The family showers are great for young families and had private toilet, shower with door, sink, mirror, bench and hanging and shaver point within the room. Great for taking the children with you. Security codes were required on the toilet and shower areas to help you to feel safer and security barriers were used at the entrance. The wildlife was brilliant too. The shop was through a hatch but was stocked with the basics and the few items we bought were very reasonable.

Visited this campsite for first time in our trailer tent. Reception staff very welcoming. Site was well looked after, showers blocks cleaned regularly. Location was perfect and central to everything, visited Chessington world of adventures and also got the tube from Uxbridge to London to take kids site seeing in London. Will definitely use this campsite again, kids loved it and so did we.

An delightful visit for us to this well laid out campsite close to Hurley. We used the site for our base to do several stretches of the Thames path using the railway line from Heley, Reading and Goring
We stayed on a special RV pitch which includes water and waste. As usual the grass was kept in good condition and the amount of space that you get is good.
The toilet blocks are still excellent although they could do with a little bit of maintenance such as tightening up toilet seats etc before things become more of a problem.
The setting on the River Thames is ideal for dogs as is the nature trail that runs parallel within the boundary of the site.
It's also great for the kids because they can cycle around and play in all the open space that is provided, along with the paddock which has a playground and two football pitches. This leads me to my one area for improvement - an adult only area well away from where the kids play.
Hurley is a quaint village with two very different pubs. The Olde Bell is one of the oldest pubs in England and serves beer at prices to match - £4 a pint. However well worth a visit for the gardens alone. The Rising Sun was packed every evening and the food seemed very popular although we didn't eat there. Slightly further afield (needs a car) is the Dew Drop Inn with an excellent pint of Breakspears at a reasonable price £3. 30
We will be returning to this superb site, which although expensive (£30 a night for two adults and a dog), is worth it for the location.
