An excellent site in a quiet location next to the River Thames, yet only a few miles from Henley-on Thames or Maidenhead. The site is level with level pitches, some with hard standing but mainly on good quality grass.
There are 3 shower/toilet blocks and they were all clean and well-maintained. One block contained family cubicles comprising a wash basin and separate toilet and shower cubicles.
It is a pleasant walk along the river to the village of Hurley, which has a couple of pubs. We ate at the Rising Sun which was adequate but nothing special.
We had an enjoyable stay and will return on another occasion.

Beautiful campsite. Stayed for a weekend, toilet block showers and washing up facilities all very clean, most impressed. Staff extremely helpful on the telephone and in person. Very near Henley so went for meal at Zizzis pizza pasta restaurant. Will definitely be going back.

Stayed 4 nights in a cold, wet and snowy October. Easy to find and well located for Legoland (1/2 hour drive), Windsor (20 mins). Henley on Thames about 5 mins which has shops and takeaways. Finally found nice Chinese takeaway (Full House, 10 Friday Street, Henley RG9 1AH for your sat nav, as its off a side street!). We've definitely been spoilt by the caravan club sites. On site the roads were a bit rough and the grass area we were in just filled up with water from the rain. Our neighbour needed a boat in his awning. Lots of the pitches were puddles. The hard standing we saw just looked like gravel thrown ontop of the grass. The toilet/shower blocks were functional but not the best we've seen. Used our own facilities due to the mud and rain trek to use the blocks, its the time you are grateful for that end washroom and shower cubicle. TV reception was poor, and the hook up we had on the full service pitch did not work. Managed to just get the usual 5 channels through our extended aerial. Couldn't pick up digital. The reception staff were very nice and friendly. Water hook up seemed to be the one connector we didn't have, managed to buy one from the Wyevale garden centre on the road to Reading just the other side of Henley. (Onsite shop didn't have them) Tesco just before it. The kids play area is a field, no play equipment. Lovely walk by the river just behind the site. We walked to Hurley a very short distance, but hindered a bit by our 1 year old in a buggy as it involved narrow paths and bridges. The walk to Henley is apparently quite nice according to those we spoke to. We had a good time though due to the location. But had we realised it was there, we would have probably picked the CC site nearby for the couple of extra pounds a night just to get a hard standing. Maybe a site more for better weather.

2nd Visit to this site, good clean shower and toilet facilities although the showers did have a mind of their own (going hot and cold). Was very quiet but probably due to the time of the year, there is a small shop, but it's through a hatch so you have to ask for what you want, I prefer to browse!
Good site, close to Henley and Reading ( if you go through Henley rather than M4).

We stayed here after a visit to Legoland (15 minutes drive away)
Very helpful on the phone when we booked on the same day.
The site is very nice, well kept & clean, the toilet/shower facilities are faultless and look almost brand new, they are obviously cleaned regularly
Little shop with some canned goods, drinks and bread.
We are very much beginner campers and we only stopped 1 night, 2 kids (4 & 5) me and the missus, we all thought the site was good, lots of open space for running around, the plots were flat, level and no stones to contend with, (I did mention we were amateur campers didn't I ;-).)
We had a nice nice walk by the river.
If you want a nice meal you would do well to try the St. George and Dragon at Wargrave (10 mins drive) good reasonably priced food and nice location right by the river.
You do hear the planes out of Heathrow, but its not that intrusive and certainly didn't wake us or the kids up, plus being this close to Legoland you are going to struggle to not hear planes!

Just got back from Hurley and had a really good time.
Site was clean and generally level. The shop on site stocked the basics and found a Waitrose in Henley-on-Thames for our main shop. Toilet block were clean and showers were really good. Didn't use washing up facilities but they looked o.K. Site was quite noisy during the day but it was busy and the main school holidays so lots of children. Went very quite at night and never had a problem with noise once the children had gone to bed.
Walked along the river to the village of Hurley to the pub a couple of nights and enjoyed the pubs in the village although the walk back was very dark! Surrounding area was very nice with lots of chances to walk along the river and visit National Trust properties etc. Had a visit to Windsor castle which was well worth it.
On the whole a good site and would go back again.

Just returned from Hurley Riverside Park, overall a very pleasant site located on the banks of the river Thames. We visited to go Legoland and London (many thanks to the previous reviewer mentioning Cookham train station, you can park the car for free at Cookham and travel to London for a family of four including buses and underground for £28.00).
A generally quiet and relaxing site, five minutes drive into Henley with good pubs and restaurants for food. The only downside were the toilets which always seemed to be dirty, a few people commented on condition of the toilets.

We stayed for 3 nights in this caravan park.
Even though it was August the park is laid out in a way that only a few units are together so it feels very peaceful. The showers were excellent and spotless. It was only about 30 minutes from Legoland which is why we stayed. The man was there when we arrived and were expecting him to give out when our 10 yr old started looking for leaflets on what to do in area as soon as we got into the reception area. But no, he was lovely, was expecting Victor Meldrew and got a dote. He couldn't have been more helpful. There was no playground which was fine as I am not a big fan of them anyway.
While it was a walk into the nearest village, the weather unfortunately didn't allow it.
Would definitely return and perfect as a base for travelling in the area.

This was our second visit to Hurley , we have always had a lovely time.We have 3 children who love being in the open. We found being so near to the Thames a real delight. We loved the walks and swimming in the river.
We found Hurley relaxing ,quiet and a good site to be on with 3 children.
The pitches were of good size, leaving room for children to run around. The showers were clean and nice as were the toilets, my only thing I could say is please get some mirrors but otherwise 2 good visits this year defo going back. Keep up the good work. Ps I found staff to be polite and helpful.

Great site, well set out with plenty of space to spread out. Toilet and shower were adequate, located in an elevated lodge style cabin. Showers very small but plenty of hot water. A little muddy at times but cleaned to a good standard.
Shop and reception area small with basic items for sale. Friendly staff who gave good advise of reasonable places to eat. Free bus picked up from the camp site and transported you to a local pub on request.
Setting on the Thames could not of been better with free fishing and lovely walks around the area.
Henley-On-Thames worth a visit, with boat trip up and down the river.
Easy access to London from Haigh Wycombe and Maidenhead. Return ticket for 2 adults and 1 child cost £32.00 with free underground travel for the day. Parking at the station around £5.00. Great base for visiting Windsor, London and Wembley Stadium etc.
