We stayed at this site, due to it's proximity to Legoland, about 20 mins away. Some people have noticed the flight path into Heathrow, but can honestly say it really didn't bother us, must be turning into t plane spotter.
Showers are lovely and warm, water is exceptionally hot, so please be careful.
Found the site lovely and quiet am I the only one to think that perhaps a small playground would make it even better. However do understand that not everybody would echo this.
Would definitely go again

This site is huge, but you feel as if it is alot smaller because of the well spaced pitches and they are seperated into small hedgelined areas, toilet facilities were fine and the showers were free and lovely and hot! There is access to the river from the site and this provides the most beautiful, interesting walks. This is a quiet getaway and when we were there it was very quiet! (but out of season). The village of Hurley is very picturesque and has 2 pubs and a well stocked shop, which I believe is part of the campsite. Legoland is a 20 minute drive away and so is Windsor with a very ample park and ride, with secure parking for your motorhome. The staff were most helpful and provided my husband with tourist information! We will return but probably out of season again so that it is nice and quiet.

A return trip here for us and again we took the bikes and made the most of the location against the Thames. We cycled the Thames path for quite a while and very safe for the kids too.
A very quiet site with plenty of good , clean facilities and no queueing was experienced by any of us.
Small shop on site selling the basics, housed in reception, with another small shop in the Hurley Village. For larger shops head to Henley on Thames for Tesco and Waitrose.
Planes fly overhead, but as they are so high you hardly notice them, but make a great game for the kids to spot the different types of planes and the country they are from.
Another great site that I will return to when in the area.

Visited this site as part of our trip to legoland windsor. Site is down a small track with a few corners, could imagine larger motorhomes having a few difficulties. Nice peaceful site just alongside the river Thames. Beautiful walk down to the lock and Hurley Village. Very quiet and tranquil. Had a really good sized pitch, which is well sheltered by hedges etc but does not really overshadow either so just right for us! Could not see a kids play area anywhere but not a problem as they have lots of stuff to play with anyway to keep themselves entertained. Flat and level pitches. Toilets, showers etc were ok. There is a village shop in Hurley open until 5pm it took us about 20 minutes to walk there but that was with a 4 and 6 year old! I guess on your own you could be there and back in 20 minutes. Reception was OK a few leaflets etc regarding surrrounding attractions but not as many as I would have expected for a site on the outskirts of London. Grumpyish man behind reception told kids not to take leaflets as he didn't have many, they only wanted a legoland one! I would visit again as it really is a beatiful park in a nice position against the Thames, ideal for visiting windsor, eton etc.

Lovely site, which we use a lot throughout the season. In general it's all we look for in a site, but we agree that the shower facilities could do with upgrading. What is more concerning is the site seems incapable of enforcing the 10mph speed limit, and it is now getting dangerous to walk along the site roads because of idiots doing 20+ mph. If these people cannot think for themselves, perhaps a good series of 'sleeping policemen' would solve the problem. My children love the fact that the site is by the river - a different game every time we walk along it! We are looking forward to our next visit.

Enjoyed a good weekend at this site, and would recommend it. Its in a good location right next too the River Thames. It's larger than expected, and caters for all- tents, caravans or motorhomes. The campsite facilities are good- there are three toilet and shower blocks, all in good order- with free hot showers. There is small shop in the reception, but it doesn't stock much. It's not perhaps the ideal site if you want to 'get away from it', but it's very family friendly, and the location is ideal for families doing tourist trek with the kids. The village of Hurley is about 20 minutes walk away, and has two pubs (Ye Old Bell and the Rising Sun) and a shop. The Rising Sun offers good pub grub in a relaxed atmosphere- we enjoyed a good meal here on the Saturday evening. Ye Old Bell is basically an expensive hotel that has a restaurant and bar. Was amazed to read reviews lower down complaining they were not happy about the drainage- aren't they aware that this year, this part of England has had some of the worst floods ever recorded? Reading nearly sunk! It's a wonder it was open, and when we went in August, there was no sign of flood damage or bad drainage. Overall paid £32 for two nights (two adults, two dogs and a Campervan which isn't a bargain, but not surprising considering location. Hook up comes free with the pitch.

Spent 9 days here, family with 3 young boys and a dog. It was a great site for the boys, they spent hours exploring on their bikes around the site, lots of grass and safe roads / tracks for them. The river walks were excellent, easy access to the river, again lots of open space for the kids to play. We liked the way the large site was broken up into smaller areas, so it always felt that you were a smaller site, but with the excellent faciities of a larger one. Others have mentioned road and aircraft noice - we didn't notice this at all. We would certainly return here if we have the opportunity.

Stayed here for 2 nights in early August. We have a 6 man tent and were booked into the caravan field. Mix up with the on-line booking. We were squeezed into a pitch far too small for our tent, under a very large tree and surrounded by stingy nettles, not good with small children! All the other tents/caravans had sun by 9/10am, because of the tree we had to wait until after midday, so ended up with a lot of condensation. The toilet blocks are OLD and DATED and need to be cleaned more regularly, the toilets didn't flush properly and the showers are very very narrow. I would rather stay dirty than use them. The river walks are nice however not much else to do on foot. We were lucky enough to have Henley on the doorstep (10 min drive) Wouldn't go back until they get new toilet blocks.

This campsite is in a lovely part of the country we have two children and went with friends with children. The site is a great location if you are planing a trip to Lego Land or Windsor castle. Unfortunately the weather was horrible and we did spend a large % of time trying to find dry indoor places to visit but would go to site again and recommend you take a walk down by the river even if it is raining. Site was clean well kept with great pitch space.

Came here for w'end with family. Rained on Saturday and the site was flooded. Not good drainage, thank goodness we had sewn in ground sheets. Site need to sort out the drainage. Showers 'warmish', and were cold one morning. Water out of taps ran too fast and you ended up showering again. Nice site and spacious pitches, would have been wonderful if it had not rained. Would advise not to go when rain expected, as fields do flood which then look like lakes. Many campers having to move from their pitches due to flooding. Beautiful area and wonderful walks along the thames. Henley short drive away. Will definitely go again but only when full sunshine expected. Site owners very polite and helpful.
