Booking easy, Greated by Suzie on arrival, very friendly and helpful.
The site is basic, but that is exactly what we love. You can walk into Brecon in about 5 minutes.
This is a place to relax and kick back. No manicured plots, all uniform and Truman Show like.
Recommended.

Idyllic! The facilities were kept clean, and they had thought of the small details- such as a bike store, and dry logs for you to take and sit on.
The landscape is well looked after, and is detailed with apple and plum trees, a gentle river and very friendly hens!
We left feeling refreshed

Beautiful little campsite by the river with a lovely wood on the opposite bank.
It's a peaceful and lovely setting for relaxing and a really short walk in Brecon for pubs, restaurants etc.
One of the most serene and enjoyable campsites I've stayed in

Booked for 2 nights as this is the minimum and so pleased I did. It is such a peaceful place in a small field beside a river next to the owner's house.
Pitch where you fancy and park your car in the parking area.
Chickens of all varieties visit occasionally.
The facilities are in rustic but very adequate clean cabins and plentiful bins for all types of recycling which I really approve of.
Many campsites should follow this owner's commitment to saving our planet. Thank you.

Great site, quiet but really friendly.
Close to Brecon but you could be miles away.
Will definitely be going back.
Firebowls are available and they add to a great atmosphere.
Brecon as always has lots to offer - restaurants cafes and pubs.
Looking forward to going back soon.

Quaint campsite alongside a rushing river. Lovely host and good facilities.
Only a 5 min walk from the town of Brecon which is charming.
Booking restaurants in Brecon ahead is advisable!

Cracking site, excellent value for money and in a lovely location with a babbling river running along side the pitching area which gave a lovely soothing sound to sleep to. The site is 10 mins easy walk into Brecon & a short drive to the absolutely stunning beacons.
Brecon is a nice little town with a mix of independent shops & high street favourites plus a twice weekly market. There's a few eateries but booking is mandatory at most at the moment with Covid.
The (lovely) owners of the campsite have thought of everything, even though it's a small & rustic site there's proper toilets & showers in fab rustic buildings.
There's also practicalities such as charging points, recycling for everything, firewood for sale, a washing up area with clothes lines & a covered seating area if you don't have somewhere to sit in the rain.
There's even some wheel barrows to transport your stuff to your chosen pitch. You can pitch anywhere but can't drive on the grass so bear this in mind, we have an airbeam tent & normally use an electric pump connected to the car but luckily we also had a hand pump. We could have pitched nearer the track though so this wouldn't have been a problem.
Fires are permitted & free metal stands are available & firewood can be bought from the farmhouse.
There's some lovely resident chickens that are curious and will come and say hello several times a day, especially if you're cooking!
We're rather jealous of the owners & would love to have a site just like this :-D
