Absolutely perfect!
The site is so charming and the location is excellent for wandering in to Brecon town. You feel like you’re a world away from everyone but have the convenience of real toilets!
Loved having a fire pit to sit beside watching the stars at night. The sound of the river was also just what the doctor ordered.
Hosts are so helpful and welcoming and little Podge the dog is adorable.
We wish we were there longer and will definitely be back soon!

Found the campsite in a fantasy location just on the outskirts of Brecon,
This site was perfect for us clean, tidy, picturesque and not to busy, lots of quirky buildings and additions fire pits and logs to sit on, next to a river,
Found the weekend relaxing with lots to explore,
Definitely recommend this site.

Well maintained and picturesque campsite in a convenient location near to Brecon town. Facilities were clean and logs/fire pits were available.
The owner was very friendly and around when needed.
Would definitely stay again.

Very well maintained campsite in a really special and atmospheric location next to the River. I really can't emphasise enough just how lovely the location is.
The campers were nicely spaced out and our end of the campsite felt secluded. The facilities were pleasant to use and I never had to wait for a toilet/shower/washing-up sink.
We especially enjoyed being able to borrow a firepit to keep us warm in the evenings.

Quite frankly the perfect campsite. We couldn’t recommend this campsite enough. We camped next to the river and were lulled to sleep by the sound of it. It makes you feel like you’ve gone wild camping but with the luxury of a toilet and shower.
Don’t be put off by its location to the road as truthfully you can’t hear it or see it, you’d think you were camping in the middle of nowhere.
We didn’t camp with children which is why there’s no rating for that.

Once again, an excellent little campsite.
Tents and campervans only on site, and never overcrowded. Nice evenings listening to the river passing by and owls hooting in the trees.
Great supply of log seats and fit puts also. Rustic and comfortable.
Will definitely be back.

We have stayed here many times over the last few years, it’s a beautiful site well maintained.
The owners are brilliant and always there to help or just chat.
The kids love it and so do my wife and I, it is so peaceful and can recommend it to everyone.

Simply brilliant. A calm rural space on the edge of the town of Brecon. Wood fires, fresh eggs and cheeky chickens.
Our second visit and we will return again and again.

Not too busy in early September, loads of space available and you get to choose where to pitch your tent. Helpful staff.
The takeaway menu is a bit limited so we went to eat at pubs, had a really good time.

Friendly little campsite just for tents and some campervans. You hear the sound of the little river Honddu night and day, it cleans your mind. The chickens come begging for breadcrums (or anything edible) at your breakfast.
You can choose where you want to pitch your tent. You can make a campfire with the wood that is for sale in the firebins that are available.
The sanitairy facilities are basic but o. K. And clean. If you have no problem with basic conditions and like a more natural atmosphere than most campsites in the U. K. , this is a good place to stay.
You can hear the road behind the campsite, but it is not too busy and loud, also because it is higher up, and there is not too much traffic.
Very close to nice little town of Brecon, only 10 minutes walk. You can make fantastic walks directly from the campsite or in the surrounding area. We even went to the Black Mountains Gliding Club near Talgarth for a flight.
