This is one of the most beautiful campsites I have stayed in. It is set in tranquil surroundings with a river running alongside. The site is just a 10 minute walk from Brecon itself which has supermarkets, camping shops and pretty much all you could need. We also found a dog friendly pub-small and full of locals but were friendly and extremely welcoming!
The site owners are incredibly friendly and helpful and keep the sites facilities immaculate.
Although the toilet and shower facilities are limited, they are always clean. The showers cost 50p for around 4 minutes but you have the option to regulate the temperature to what you want which is lovely!
There are a couple of sinks to do washing up but these are let down by not having hot water and so you need to boil a kettle.
The site is set in a lovely part of Wales and is a great place to tour round the Beacons.
We had a wonderful week at Priory Mill and will definitely return in the future. This site is an absolute must for those who want a peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings.

This is a lovely site in a little valley only a 10 minute stroll from Brecon.
We had a very friendly welcome from the owners who offered us the use of a fire-pit when we bought some wood.
The toilets and shower are spotless. Although the weather was a bit wet the site didn't get muddy.
The kids had a brilliant time and can't wait to go back.
Highly recommended!

What a lovely little site. This is perfect if you want to go to a small site with great and clean facilities. Its a bit no frills, but has some lovely added extras. Its the kind of site that reminds you why you go camping!
Word of warning though, if the wind gets up, tighten your ropes as the site acts as a wind tunnel!

The best campsite I have ever been to. Quiet, secluded, beautiful surroundings. Excellent simple facilities, short walk into town, no idiots, friendly owners.
Best thing of all - you can buy locally produced charcoal and borrow a fire pit to have a nice bbq, then add some wood (also can be bought) and have an open fire to sit round. Bliss.

I stayed at this site in June, just at the start of the summer. The campsite is in a valley, so can get a little chilly at night, but for the same reason its a real suntrap during the day and warms up quickly.
The surroundings are idyllic. It sits by the river, surrounded by trees. The road which runs along the top is very quiet. A feature of the campsite is that they ask for no noise after 10:30. This makes it ideal for campers and caravanners (there is ample space for both types of unit) who prefer a quieter stay.
There are shower, toilet and washing up facilities. Showers are 50p for (a long) four minutes and the facilities are kept immaculate.
The site allows campfires in one of their metal trays. Wood and charcoal are available to buy on site, as are free range eggs!
The site is very close to brecon - 7 minutes walk from the nearest pub. About 10-12 from the main town centre which has 2 supermarkets, a few high street stores, and many independent bespoke stores.
It is ideally situated for cycle rides and hikes into the mountains, and as a motorcyclist, I found it well situated for the some of the most exciting roads and riding I've ever done!

10/10 for this site. Limited washing/loo facilities but kept absolutely spotless. Lovely location, right by the river and quiet. Very friendly and helpful owners. A small site, but this just adds to its attraction. Showers are 50p for 4 mins, so remember to bring coins, but piping hot water which doesn't fluctuate and on a tap not timed push button used in so many sites. 5 min walk along the river and past the Cathedral into Brecon. Only 1 negative - no hot water at the dishwashing sinks - you have to boil your own and take it over with you. Will be returning for sure as gem of a site.

This is a small, lovely site next to a river and within easy walking distance of Brecon. It is peaceful and clean, with new toilet block. One of the best things about it, apart from the location, is that you can have a camp fire, and can buy wood or charcoal from the campsite. It is not very easy to find, because of the one-way system in Brecon, but once there it feels much more rural than it actually is. The owners are very friendly, and there are hens roaming around the campsite. It only takes 10 mins to walk into the centre of Brecon. Our children loved playing by the river.

We stayed here in April. The site was very wet and access not particularly good.
It has a real back to nature feel allowing log fires. It is right next to the river among trees.
There is a toilet block of wood construction with pay showers, several toilets and an outside dish washing sink.
It is a good site for mountain biking and walking and is within walking distance of Brecon. There is little to do on the site itself.
Brecon is a nice town with plenty of shops and supermarkets.
The owners are very friendly and renovating the old mill. The free range eggs are excellent.

This site holds lots of great memories for myself and my partner. Its one of the best sites to explore Brecon, and you can get into Brecon town through a scenic route via the river. The owners are very nice and once borrowed us their pump for our airbed. The chickens can be a pain but it just adds to the country feel. If your lucky you can get a spot right on the river bank and this gives you stunning views of the small waterfall.
