Peaceful campsite beside river, lots of space to pitch where you want and easy access to town.

They have sockets for phone chargers and a freezer for freezer bag blocks.

Very friendly owners and chickens.

Facilities beautifully designed and made by owner, in an arts and crafts style. Charming.

This is the 4th time I have been to this site and this return was with my 18 year old to climb Pen Y Fant.

I love the sound of the river and the very friendly chickens!

Great location, in a quiet field next to the river and less than a 10 minute walk into Brecon.

Ability to park my car just a few metres away was handy.

All the other campers (average number of tents each night I was there was about 7) were quiet, which was great after a hard day in the hills.

All the facilities were clean, showers hot and the price per night was excellent value!

I'll be staying again.

Lovely sheltered valley setting next to a river.

Very clean site and facilities. You feel you're in the middle of the countryside, yet Brecon is a short walk down the road.

Great site, great location.

Really enjoyed our stay here, ticked the boxes we were looking for, ie similar to a wild camp setting but with benefit of hot shower and toilets on site,

Short 15 min walk to Brecon which has good restaurants and pubs.

Special mention to the curry house Zeera, great food that hit the spot after a long hike.

Fire pits supplied at a cost, and even though we packed our own chairs, they had tree stumps which was a nice touch.

Nice morning dip in the running river on site, that will wake you up!

We have stayed on this site a number of times, and love it.

It is a simple site, but has all the facilities that would need. Covered area to sit in, which is useful if you are backpacking in a small tent and the Welsh weather comes in.

Good showers. Phone charging points. Small freezer for ice packs.

There is a small area for a couple of Campervan's, but no hook-up.

Cars are parked in a separate area, but this is not an issue, you are just not allowed to drive on the grass.

10 min walk into the centre of Brecon.

Excellent campsite in a beautiful situation by a river.

A short walk to town with food shops and pubs, clean facilities with warm showers.

Friendly chickens.

I would recommend approaching from Brecon if possible as the entrance is quite a tight turn.
